Thank you for keep showing affordable housing. Unlike other videos realtors only want to sell million dollar houses which they think those would be sold due to commission. This is more reasonable.
Amazing home and price point 👍🏼. Only comment would be to put a double sink in the 2nd bathroom that others share. To have undermount sinks, nickel finishes, stainless, blinds, granite and tile throughout is crazy for this price point!
Thank you richthomson. I try to find homes with no carpets throughout the homes at a good price. I try to make sure I do a little bit of everything since everyones situations, likes/dislikes are different. Keep the bi fold doors in mind for the next one :)
Obviously, with the location being out in the boonies, and in Florida one would expect it to be on the warmer side, and on the humid side. However, if one is looking for a starter home, where would one go to buy? It would be further out in a less desirable location. This house would be attractive to that family. It’s a lovely big family home.
So it all depends. I always like to ask what my clients enjoy and what a typical weekend entertainment would be for them and go based off of that. I also base it on if they are open for a little bit of work or would prefer to have a new home. So Ocala, Brooksville, Leesburg, Tavares, Winter Haven, Haines City, Deltona would all be some examples of where I would say is good for starter homes in Central Florida and where the prices are not too crazy. I hope this helps 😊
This is a great starter home for new owners or people looking for more space from their current situation. Great job in making these presentations, Wendoly. I'm subbing and gonna check out your other videos! Keep 'em comin', pretty woman
There is nothing wrong with Ocala. Some people say it is the middle of nowhere however, that is not the case. You have your areas where the people have acres of land but the rest if like your standard home.
Nothings wrong with Ocala except I’ve been living in The Keys for 35 years. I won’t like the geographical or weather changes very much. I’m sure Ocala is lovely, I misspoke, sorry.
This is a very popular home it is really nice! We welcome you here once you make the move. I actually live in Ocala now myself from Orlando 🙂 if you have any questions, I’m here to help guide you!
Nice home! Thank you for showing. Your tour was thoughtfully presented including all the answers to typical questions one would ask. You talked about the space “ to do whatever you wanted“ is this zoned for horses on the property?
You are very welcome! I really appreciate your feedback and I will continue doing my best and making sure I provide those answers. Yes. In this area it is zoned for horses however, there are limits based off the lot square footage.
Here are the requirements: For the keeping of horses, the minimum square footage of pasture area not including the dwelling shall be 9,000 square feet for the first horse and 6,000 square feet for each additional horse. The total number of horses shall not exceed four per acre, except foals, which may be kept until weaned.
What would the taxes be and what would the property insurance cost. I’m interested to learn more. I don’t currently live in FL; however, I heard property insurance is extremely high. Are there good hospitals and medical care in Ocala? How far is this home from UF? Thank you.
The taxes are dependent on the home and the area. In this area I’ve seen no homesteaded home taxes be about $2500/year but it depends on the assessed value of the home. I have clients who are purchasing and their insurance is less than $800/year. Insurance is high in your (example) like Miami area so it all depends. Yes. You have your regular hospitals and medical offices just like you would in like Orlando, Tampa, Gainesville, etc. So this area is about 50 minutes from UF. If you have more questions feel free to give me a call 😊
Great presentation nice house for the price I see you had a bun for your last video nice hope to be looking for a home in few months once interest rates decline a little.
Hi great presentation, QUESTION: Based on the information (financial numbers) you provided, what will be the monthly payments with the $8000 to $10000 down?
There are a couple of different things that factor into this. Credit is a big part so we can determine an interest rate. Based off the standard for an FHA loan it’s about a little over $2,000 a month, you can always buy down points to bring the interest rate down and have a smaller payment
Hi Wendoly enjoy the videos of the properties in Ocala do you have or handle any listings in the Melbourne or Palm Bay Area? I have a brother who is very interested in that area
Hi Hailey. It’s pretty good and stable. The prices have been at a stable point. There are some areas where it’s still like a sellers market but for most part you could get pretty good deals
Taxes in the area are a little under $2,000 but I would say to have in mind possibly $2500 to be safe and the home owners insurance depends. The most recent one was about $1,200

They are made of concrete block. A lot of what is being built now is hurricane resistant. Some builders, charge a little more, are even putting the hurricane windows
There a couple of factors that can determine it and also which loan. So you can do FHA 3.5% which will be $9,450 and the Conventional 3% will be $8,100 if you can qualify USDA it’s $0
