MK1 has no Friendships, Babalities, Animalities or even Stage Fatalities, only regular Fatalities and Brutalities. That, with the fact that some of the characters have been reduced to a worse version of the Assist Trophies from Super Smash Bros just makes it come off as lazy. It's honestly pretty boring and it gets stale quickly.

Yeah they focused on the fighting and less gore and blood but they did add blood puff clouds…and they do have some decent blood decals
