Building own house in Eastern Europe is possible (I have seen 2-3 decades ago people who have no construction experience built their own homes and children were helping out); where I live now (FL, USA) that would not be possible: contractor have to licensed, permits, inspectors and strict building codes are standard in Florida
hello. The hurricane on September 28 in Florida destroyed many many homes. so much for contractors, so much for snips. you build yourself a house that will be warm and strong, no hurricane will destroy it.
@@robin-myhouse3472don’t be foolish. If your climate is not one that is susceptible for tropical cyclones then you have no experience with the havoc it can cause. It’s quite possible your very strong walls dont break. They will just fall in one piece on top of you 😅 Florida has the toughest building codes in the US for hurricane. That doesn’t mean that every house will meet those codes. We did not rebuild every home every time the code is improved. Older houses will have older standards. Of course what is built strong for hurricanes may not be strong for earthquakes. As that is not a concern in Florida.
Is it certain tpes of wood only? I'm just getting into hempcrete, and learned that the lime binds to the silica in the hemp hurds. Is it the same deal with sawdust? Or does it work differently (not bind directly to it)
Hello, I did the following proportions - six buckets of sawdust of any small or large, then one bucket of 500 grade cement, two buckets of pure quarry sand, One and a half - two - buckets of water. Depending on the moisture content of sawdust and sand , so that the solution is not too liquid but not dry either ! 1 liter of lime should be put to break down sugars from sawdust ! I also added liquid glass to increase the strength !🔥 This is about wall blocks ! To insulate the walls and to insulate the Floor , the following composition is taken - Six buckets of sawdust , one bucket of cement 1 liter or a kilogram of slaked lime ! Without sand !🔥This composition has a lower thermal conductivity !! Thank you for your attention subscribe to my channel!👍👍👍
Hello dear, i also want to make sawdust concrete bkocks and i am researcher, in my country ppl sacrifies to construct their house because of lack of construction material and i want to introduce this technology to my environment that there is enouph availablity of sawdust product ,then what you advice me to the properties of sawdustconcrete and what chemical to use it cheap to sucess my research plan?? Thank you alot to your's support like this for us
hello. in order for the sawdust concrete to be strong and durable, you need to adhere to the proportions of 1 part cement 6 parts sawdust 3 parts sand a liter jar of lime. sawdust should preferably lie in the air for several months. in the fall we bought a winter lay in the spring we built a house. fresh sawdust does not mix well
@@robin-myhouse3472 What about making a drum dryer. A 44 gallon / 220 Litre drum horizontal with a small fire under neath to dry the wood out. What happens to the blocks if they get saturated after they have cured. Do you have the "MPA" strength of a block.
Banana tree fibre would be worth looking at. Even use it as brick force between layers of bricks. As well as in your foundations. Especially in clay lay and sandy uncohesive soils.
Actually it's an updated version of clay and straw as apposed to you ignorant statement of being outdated or terribly old tech , To me sounds like a owner of a corrupt and greedy construction companies pissing on everyone and calling it rain
Good guy who needs to do some research. This material has been available decades. Faswall and Durisol blocks and panels. Lots of research and development with bio-based materials-rice hulls, hemp crete, wood fiber and portland cement, lime clay and other binders as earlier as 125 years ago. Typical youtuber where the posters have a time span that goes back to google and the internet.
How does it do in an oven type construction
Nice ! What about the breatablility of the mix ? Why not doing it with lime only, for this matter?
Is 3 parts sawdust, 2 parts sand, 1 part cement enough? Or is there another simple recipe?
Good info. Not familiar with the music but I like it. What is it?

Same in Eastern Europe too, its globalism mate.......
@@robin-myhouse3472people cannot afford a hurricane proof house. The flood waters destroyed bridges
Build Teletubbies shaped home, should be at least tornado proff.

thank you for your time , hello from Mexico !, I have no codes here I will build my own house , Yesss !
Thank you Robin. May I ask where you bought your metal slip form, or did you weld it yourself?

Please what are the composites an the proportions?Am also experimenting at Home with wood floor to make a building blovk

Great video as far as what it has to offer/ visual info
The music really detracts and not needed. Don't do the same in the future

will it burn?
Thanks for proportions.
You start to come somevery now...Good
Thank God for mute button music is HORRIBLE . So what is the mix ?
The music is shitty and unneeded
Awesome good beat 2 keep it up
You should include some longer fibers, such as shredded fiberglass.

this is so bad.... and the tech is terribly old.
maybe the technology of construction from sawdust concrete is old, but it is time-tested

You're terribly old
This is actually preferable to regular concrete in certain applications, I think.
Far more insulated, for one thing
