The ending of Tales of Destiny 2.
Finally, I've finished the whole story of the game, took way longer than I had planned, but I'm glad that I was finally able to.
All that's left now is just a few fight videos of optional bosses, and perhaps a level 200 final boss fight, if I feel like it.
I love the ending to this game, I can't think of a better way to end it.
I'm very glad Reala came back, and that her and Kyle can have a future together.
I must admit I was sad when she died, and that Kyle had to be the one to do it.
I love the instrumental version of the theme song played during the ending.
After playing through the whole game, I have to say I really like Tales of Destiny 2, it's easily my second favorite Tales of game, right behind Tales of Destiny itself.
I've come to really love the Destiny world and it's characters, and I'm really going to miss it after this, here's to hoping they make a Tales of Destiny 3 someday, with high-definition 2D sprites, and all of the characters from ToD and ToD2 playable. :D (Including Marian, and maybe Nanaly's brother Lou. :P)

Update (April 20th, 2010): Thank you everyone, for answering my questions, I've decided that I will record the next game after all, and see how it goes, hopefully it will get more attention, if not I guess we'll worry about that at the end of the next game's playthrough. :P
Hi everyone.
I have a few questions I'd like to ask to my subscribers/people who watch my videos.
Over the past few months my new videos have been getting quite a lot less views and comments, some have been up for months with less than 75 views and no comments.
I know I wasn't active much last year, due to events beyond my control, but I've been hoping that things would improve with time as I uploaded more videos this year, but they still aren't getting many views/comments.
However, I would like the thank those of you that have been watching and commenting, it means a lot to me.
But, unfortunately this has made me question whether or not it's worth it to keep making videos, if not many people are going to watch or leave comments.
I wanted to finish off ToD2 before I said anything, since I did promise I would finish my playthrough of that game.
I'm not going to say anything like I'm quitting, I just wanted to see if my subscribers actually wanted me to record a playthrough of another game.
I'm going to play the next game regardless of whether I record it or not, the question is are you all wanting to watch it.
Even if it's just rating the videos, that at least lets me know you all are watching, but I would like to see more comments on the new videos I put out, nothing massive, I'd be happy with 3 to 5 comments on each video.
I can understand why the Pre/PostBoss dialog videos get less, it's always been that way, what worries me is that even many of the actual boss fight videos haven't been getting comments.
So my questions to you are:
1: Do you want me to record and upload the playthrough of the next game?
2: How much do you plan to rate/comment on those videos?
3: Are you losing interest in my videos, and if so, why?
4: Is there anything that would make you more interested in commenting on the videos?
5: Is it because of how old ToD2 is that you aren't viewing/commenting?
6: Would you view/comment more if it was a newer game that I was uploading?

でも当時の感動を今でも鮮明に覚えている
一生物の感動をありがとう。
PS2を買って一番最初に買ったゲームで、クリア当時感動しすぎてボロボロ泣いた思い出がある。そんな自分も、もう32・・・でも、今やっても泣きそう
素晴らしいゲーム体験でしたね…私もPS2を買って一番最初にプレイしたゲームが、このDestiny2でした。あの感動は墓場まで持っていくつもりです。

自分がどんなにオッサンになろうがこのエンディングに感動していたいなと思う今日この頃。
テイルズシリーズで一番感動するエンディングです。

自分の子もこれをやってクリアして涙したな
本当の初めから最後まで、純粋にストーリーにのめりこんだ人だけが、いつになっても、このシーンに、リアラとカイルのムービーに涙することができる。
未だに胸のレンズが消えてる事に『神の分身』から『人間』になったんだなって、幼心に理解したのを覚えてる
ストーリーもだけどBGMが過去作中1番好き
当時まだ小学生でやり込みとかわかんなかったけどめっちゃ周回してその度泣いてた
リメイクして欲しい作品！

ムービー始まったとたんに鳥肌がすごい
リアラが出てきたときは涙が滲んできた
素晴らしいゲームというのは何十年という時が経ってもそのストーリー、BGMの感動が甦りますね。
本当に心底、TOD2を、カイルとリアラの出会い、別れ、そして再会を溺愛した者だけが、このエンディングムービーで涙を流せる。
プレイしていた当時は高校生なのに気づけませんでしたが、ペンダントへの願いという伏線を綺麗に回収して、初めて出会った場所で再会するっていうストーリーには改めて感動しました。音楽も絵も最高で、今観ても本当に良いゲームだったなと思います！
10年以上ぶりに見たけど、やっぱすごく感動するなぁ。テイルズシリーズの中でも記憶に残るエンディング度では一番かも。
最後の抱きつく瞬間で止めるっていう演出もオツだよなあ
リアラってふいに口ずさんだ後のカイルの徐々に目を見開いていく表情の変化が本当に好き
このリアラとの再会エンドだけは、何度見ても心を揺さぶられる。
音楽、カメラアングル、演出、全て噛み合って本当に素晴らしい！
最後の1枚絵は額縁に欲しいなぁ。

昔、いろんなゲームをやってたはずなんだけど、エンディングで憶えているのはFF10とドラクエ4とこのゲームくらいだ…
こんなに忘れるもんなんだなぁ…😭
BGMと台詞が合いすぎてて鳥肌たつうう
始まりの場所で終わりを迎える
ありきたりな展開と言われようが王道だからこその感動があるというもの
それをこんなに綺麗に仕上げてくれたらいつまでも心に残るものだね
ロニの声大好き。これやってた当時は小学生だったなぁ…懐かしくて胸いっぱいになるし、エンディングは何度見ても泣ける。
ロニの『泣け。顔隠しといてやっから』は惚れる
Key to my heartが絶妙。
この再開シーンは、リアラは何も言わないってとこがポイントだと思う。
記憶が無いはずのカイルが自分でリアラを思い出す、ってとこが感動に深みが増すんだよな。

今も何度も周回する程大好きです。
アクアラビリンスのジューダスとか、
最終ダンジョンの皆の夢からの帰還とか、
個人的に何においても良作だと思ってます
デスティニー2のエンディングは感動もの。
色々なゲームやったが、デスティニー2以上に涙流したゲームは無かった
初めてしたゲームがデスティニー2だったなぁ、確か小学一年の時に父親が持っていたこのゲームをくれてそれからテイルズが好きになったなぁ、、、
カイルとリアラ、最後は再会出来て良かったね。ナナリーやジューダス、ハロルドの事も直に思い出していくんだろうね。。素敵な作品でした！！

シリーズを重ねるにつれてキャラクターの描写が細かくなったので主人公の挫折と成長を丁寧に描いた結果、人としての甘さや弱さが際立ちどうしても過去歴代の主人公たちと比べられがちだがその分クライマックスやエンディングに置いてもたらされるカタルシスは群を抜いている。そしてその果てに訪れた奇跡の再開は涙を禁じ得ない。
赤ちゃん以来の号泣っぷり
ナナリーが墓の前ですべてを思い出すシーンと
このラストシーンは今見てもダメだね またやろうかな
何が良いって、key to my heartが作品との相性バッチリなんですよ...D2は1番好きで1番泣いた作品です
もう一度、巡り合える奇跡を...
最初は英雄に憧れた少年カイル。
偉大な両親を持ち、不思議な少女リアラと出会い、次第に真の英雄とはなにかを考え見つけていく主人公の成長譚。
英雄殺しのバルバトスや過去に捕われるジューダス、さらにはソーディアン編など考えさせられる内容が本当に多い1作でした！
中でもイチオシは、世界を救う為にリアラを犠牲にできるか、その決断が出来ないと英雄にはなれないのか？と本当に悩むカイルの苦悩が当時からのイチオシシーンです。
当時デスティニー2をプレステ2やPSPでしてたの思い出したら泣きそうなりました
いや感涙。セリフ、映像、そしてこの主題歌。
全てがいい。
Yeah, I can understand about the real life events, I had a lot of problems come up the last two years, luckily things seem to be settling down a bit for me.

Alright, thanks for the reply, yeah I was thinking that ToD2 might have had something to do with it, but I wanted to ask to make sure, luckily my next game seems to be pretty popular right now, so I guess I'll just see how things go. And sure, feel free to comment whenever. :P
When Kyle begins to remember the adventures and times he had with Reala,Judas aka Leon, Loni, Harold Belserius, Nannaly. Now the timeline has been corrected.

No worries, I can understand that you're busy, you're actually one of the people who commented the most on my Tales of Destiny 2 run, so I would like to thank you for that, I had fun reading your comments. ^_^
I wasn't referring to one person in particular with that, I was just talking about a general trend of much less views/comments on my new videos all around, compared to the amount I was getting in 2006-2008, part of it is my fault for being gone much of 2009 due to real life problems.

I can't really record a playthrough of the DS Tales of games, because I can't hook the DS to my capture device, and I don't want use a camera due to the bad quality.
@spartic511 Well, I'd like to think he came back in the same way Reala did, because Kyle said his father got a strange mask from somebody.
But I liked Judas' ending, not only did he redeem himself in the end, but he was able to truly become part of the group with Kyle and everyone else.
I really do wish he had shown his true identity to the other Swordian Masters though, I really wanted to see some kind of reunion, and I wanted Rutee to know her brother wasn't dead.
I want a ToD3.
Well, hopefully things will pick up again, the next game I'm doing is significantly newer, so I guess we shall see.

Yeah, the next game I'm going to be doing has not come to North America either, don't know if it'll stay that way or not, but I highly doubt it would come here during the time that I'm doing my playthrough of it.

That's too bad, I've always loved watching or doing RPG playthroughs on UA-cam, oh well, I've decided I'm going to go ahead and do my next game though, since most of the people who posted here want me to continue.

Yeah, I wish that hadn't happened, but unfortunately I had a bunch a real life problems come up, that really stopped me from being able to really play anything for quite awhile. :(
But, I am back to playing like I used to again, I'm just hoping I can regain some of the viewers I lost during those parts of 2008/2009.

Yeah that's true, but it's a bit harder since my channel focuses on a single game series, and I'm not sure which Tales of games haven't really been on YT much yet.
I guess that's why my Rebirth/Destiny Remake ones were so popular, there weren't a lot of videos up for them back then, and I got lucky with Abyss, since I did it right before the US release. :P
But, I kind of already had my next game picked out, it was just a matter of seeing how many people wanted me to actually record it.
I have been refraining from watching your ToD2 videos because, well, I haven't beat it yet, and don't want to spoil the plot. It's been very tempting when I saw the bosses up there, but I just hate spoiling things for myself.
If your next project is a game I have already played (or one I don't plan on playing) then by all means, expect more view from me. As for the 6 main questions (TBC)

Yeah, I had to re-upload a few of them, because UA-cam had really messed up the quality on the original uploads.
But, I'll always mark which ones are re-uploaded, by adding (Re-upload) to the end of the video name, so any of the videos that don't say that in the name will be brand new videos.
I think probably about the last 150 videos I've put up have been new though.

I enjoy watchin' the videos on your channel. (I comment from time to time.) Just keep doin' what you're doin', the only problem isn't that its what you're doing, its mostly the audience, they are more into those rom hacks or whatever these days. Nowadays RPG playthroughs don't get that much attention these days... >_>;
@VayuPurana Yeah, those twists were crazy, not at all what I was expecting going into it. That game was just awesome.
Just talking about it, makes me want to play Abyss again, it's been 5 years for me.
I keep saying one of these days I'll do an Unknown playthrough of it, just have to find some time when I'm not busy playing all the new games that are out, which is always hard for me lol.

Long story short, the main enemy, Fortuna, had been messing with the planet's history, and was going to kill everyone so she could make a perfect world from scratch.
The girl from this video, Reala, was actually part of Fortuna's consciousness, but became one of the heroes.
Unfortunately, in order to kill Fortuna, Reala had to die, so Kyle the guy who loved her, had to kill her.
Then history reset, Kyle forgot everything, and in the end she came back.
Oh ok, I can totally understand that one, I've been refraining from watching any videos of Vesperia or Graces for the exact same reason. So no problem there. :)
Well, my channel is dedicated to Japanese version Tales of games, however it would take way too long for me to do subs for them all. :P If there is an online translation of the game, I usually will put a link in the description though.
I am however subbing the skits of ToD PS1, you can find them in my playlists if you're interested.
I watched several of your videos,but usually I am in a hurry so i don't leave a comment,but mostly for some reason I can not put my comment if I watched the whole video(youtube problems,I guess).
Anyway I wil try to be more activ and to put as much comment as I am able too.Your videos are good,and I will sure watch the new playtrough of the next game(as long that isn't a game that I will play in the near future,because of the spoilers.)

だいぶゲームから遠ざかってたけど、ふと思い出して検索しました。
中学生の俺泣いたなー！
あん時はデスティニーの世界に入りたいと思ってました。

Alright thanks, yeah I can understand about the UA-cam problems, over the years I've been here I've seen them break just about feature you can think of. :P Hopefully they'll fix that problem you're having. They also have an annoying problem right now where you can't edit any of the groups on here.

1: Provided it's a game I don't plan on playing for myself or have already beaten, then yeah.
2: Rate all, comment on anything that stands out or seems worth commenting on.
3: Nope, ToD2 is just spoilerific to me.
4: Nothing in particular, unless the game is a Japanese game, then subs would make things much more awesome.
5: Reasoning above, spoilerific.
6: It's not quite the game's age, but the quality of the game that matters. Old/Awesome>New/Uninspired.

@VayuPurana Villains all seem to think alike, huh? :P
Some differences between Fortuna and Van though:
Fortuna was a god, just like Atamoni from Tales of Destiny.
Fortuna split herself into Reala and Elraine, and had both of them try to figure out how best to bring happiness to mankind.
Elraine used time travel to attempt to make perfect societies, where no one would experience pain, but robbed people of actually living meaningful lives.
It was a very good game, tied for my favorite with ToD1.

@Jeffrey6978 A small bit of advice, though I am sure you may have heard it already, but if you do RPG playthroughs, put up the ones that people have not seen yet. I am positive there is still some RPG's out there that have not seen the light of day on YT yet. Just a suggestion. :3

I really loved the story and characters. And if it makes you feel any better, Leon gets brought back in ToD2 due to said time traveling.
Kyle is Stahn's son btw.
There is a fan translation group working on Destiny 2, but it's still years off it seems.
Abyss had an awesome story, still high up on my list.
You'll love Graces, it's got an awesome battle system. XD And, a rather interesting storyline.
