That's probably the fastest budget build out there! Amazing mate! With the consistent speeds I'm guessing you could go up a couple teeth on the pinion or at least 1 more 👍🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
Awesome job 👏 👍....my new setup I'm still testing. Your absolutely right about the driveshaft..I changed mine that I got from Mike....is that where you got yours
Thanks ! Hope to see your speed runs soon. About the drive shaft, Mike offered me to send one but the shipment from USA to Europe is very expensive... Since I already bought some Titanium rods a few months ago, so I made my own. 👍
It would be interesting to know how many amps you were running thru the motor and ESC. Especially running in parallel. I blew my motor with a parallel setup due to too many amps. 👍🏼. Great run tho, well done. 👍🏼🚗
These are very cheap electronics and those data are not available. About the motor, I calculate manually the expected RPM in my builds and I dont go much beyond the recommendation of the manufacturers. If you want to knpw those data you need to use high end ESC like Castle with apps to monitor those data.
Excuse me good sir i have a question, i have been researching all of your videos and would like to know how you were able to fit the mod1 22 tooth pinion gear onto the motor shown here, it has a 3.175 mm bore and the only mod1 pinions i can find are 5mm bore. Any help would be so much appreciated 😊
Wow i just start watching these RC cars and i was like 150+ speed is not reachable in budget... For start i order 124016v2 do you guys think its good pick? I choose it because i am thinking about FPV camera under rooftop and maybe less flips off-road (more excentric center of gravity when fliped ). Any tips for first budget tuning? :)
I also got a 124016 V2 and it is a good all-around rc buggy, --- you can also bash it and drive it off-road. You do not really need to upgrade right away, just use a 3s lipo if you want to go a bit faster.
This setup was aimed to use the cheapest upgrades and batteries to reach 120 MPH... and definitely it will be even faster by using better batteries . Thanks for watching! 👍
question Brother my 3660 4200kv is coming in today. I noticed its rated for 12v only but I see your sending it with two 4s soooooo would you say the motor likes 4s? Im running a 120amp esc as well
Not sure why my car is slow, I am running mod 1 29t spur 25t pinion hobby wing 150a esc surpass hobby rocket v2 3660 4250kv engine and a single 4s 5ah battery and I get maby 80 mph? Not sure what’s wrong? It rolls very smooth to
Higher kv does not always mean that is faster, it depends on the whole rc car setup ( I also did the same thing when I was still starting speedrunning, got a 9000 kv 3650 motor but it got so hot very easily )
hey bro can i ask u a few quetion? what is your gearing how many ? can i use the motor 4370kv+120a surpass esc with double 4s lipo battery? i alway think if double 4s it will be 8s so i havent try before By the way your car is insane fast
I used 29/23 gearing in this setup ... yes you can use that motor+ESC combo ... but make sure your ESC is 4s capable. Parallel connection will maintain the 4s voltage (series connection will make it 8s)
That was insanely fast with a Surpass motor! Run two 2200mah in parallel and add the GT body and you’ll hit 130 mph easy. Keep up the good work bro 👏🏻
Thanks bro ! Will do that later on! 👍
Awesome set-up and very smooth planted passes. Congratulations on the new PB!
Thanks a bunch! 👍
Hi nice video big like i have 11000kv 3650 motor on a rc 1/10 clk gtr lm car w 2s 7000mah battery idk the max speed yet u know?
I will try buy a skyrc speedometer

Thanks mate! Yes, I think the same and I will do that soon. 👍
Faster than an airplane taking off!
Thanks for watching! 👍
Motor with a lot of KV and light setup, then 4S with light cells, yes that can be even faster, thanks for sharing
Next speedrun video will be even faster. thanks for watching!
Congratulations on the new PB! nice build and very impressive speed 😎👍
Thanks bro, I learned many things from you 👍
how did you create the side trays?
Awesome job 👏 👍....my new setup I'm still testing. Your absolutely right about the driveshaft..I changed mine that I got from Mike....is that where you got yours
What the size for the pinion and sharf gear

Nice
You think it’s possible to fit a 4274 motor in a 1/12?
You're doing a really good car, so fast, I can barely see it.i follow you every video
Glad to hear that .... Thanks for watching! 👍
Nice build great runs 🔥👍🏽💯💪🏾
Glad you enjoyed, Thanks for watching! 👍
this is very awesome, i like u design this wltoys, u make design tray baterry?
Yes, thanks
Stay positive work I see u💯🦈🐐🔥
Will do... Thanks for watching! 👍

@SHAHLIFE
I had a 3660 3300kv motor
, 120a esc, 2 x chnl 2200mah 4s batteries in parallel.
@SHAHLIFE Please check the Upgrade Links provided in the Description box
@SHAHLIFE yeah I know, I’m scratching my head about it. Must of just had a bad motor.
@SHAHLIFE no, the esc is fine.

I used a motor with 5 mm shaft instead of the commonly used 3.175 mm
Nice!
Thank you! Cheers!
I am curious did you make the titanium driveshaft or can they be purchased somewhere.
It was a DIY piece, I bought a 30 cm long titanium rod

Never fail to impress me, mate. Such a great set up and speed runs 👍🏽
Thanks, this setup is simple and cheap 👍
Hi what gearing are you running on this build?
pinion and driveshaft gearing?
How many teath?
I was running 29/23 gearing in this setup
Hi sir, I’m using a 3.4V battery holder with four slots. What Board Plate Received should i buy?
Sorry, I dont understand your question. This rc car can run either on 2s,3s or 4s lipo battery

@@RcModwerks23 Thank you for reply. Yes 3s is best first upgrade thx 8-)
Hi mate.. may i know about type off the pinion and sharf gear... what size you use for this car..
I used Mod-1 gears, pretty much the same as others are using in their modded 124019
Just need some higher c4s batteries. And maybe check on a couple millimeter bigger wheels and you're in there man
This setup was aimed to use the cheapest upgrades and batteries to reach 120 MPH... and definitely it will be even faster by using better batteries . Thanks for watching! 👍
2 pcs 4s battery ,is run 8s ?
Nope, they are in parallel connection so still on 4s, my ESC wont support 8s battery
hi dear friend please could you said where could i buy titanium driveshat and what gears is?
The drive shaft was DIY (Do It Yourself) ... I bought 5 mm Titanium rods from Aliexpress and made them by myself
Great run 👍🏻
Thanks! 👍
That's amazing.. great stuff.. 🎉👍
Thanks! You also do very fast 124019 builds. Awaiting for your speedruns 👍
That's amazing. Here I am hoping to hit 90mph 🤣
Would you be able to share where you got those wheels?
Thanks ! I buy those foam tires from my local rc shop but if you are in the USA I think the best place is here: bit.ly/3pDDVtr
@@RcModwerks23 ahh I see. Those are what I have now. Thanks anyway for your reply! Hope to see you go faster and faster! Subbed 👍
@@anthonylim2428 No worries, thanks !
for the esc connectors youre using xt60s or xt90s??
Those are xt60
question Brother my 3660 4200kv is coming in today. I noticed its rated for 12v only but I see your sending it with two 4s soooooo would you say the motor likes 4s? Im running a 120amp esc as well
It is ok for speed runs only
nó chạy 4s hay 6a vậy
The lipo batteries used in this video are 4s lipo

what mod 1 gear are you runnin bro???
I was running 29/23 in this setup
hi bro, i plan to get 4700kv and run on 3s lipo with 120a max10, i noticed its rate max voltage 9.6v only… its okey?
Yes, it is good for 3s in speedruns only

It very is hard to figure out unless I can try myself to speedrun the rc car
Does anyone know how well the diffs hold up in these at these kinds of speeds??
The diffs on all my speedrun cars are still the original ones ...so they surely can hold up .
next wltoys 104001.. 😁😇
I am working on that 👍
1/12 scale at 118mph mean if it were full scale it would be doing 408mph🤯
If it was full scale 1/1 then, 118 MPH x 12 = 1,416 MPH
Yeah ok there math genius what ever you think
@@jessieleboeuf5080 Sorry, I didnt understand how you got the 408 mph
I will trade you the armor felony for that for this car that you just did the video on
Thanks for the offer but I will not trade this rc buggy
If I buy one do you think you could tell me what electronics you have on yours I was that impressed with it I'm impressed with all your videos
