Finally going with best browser.... firefox.. Good report and thanks - that North Pacific/Gulf of Alaska pattern cause 4 rounds in the west is amazing.
Actually Eric, this post time is much better. Otherwise maybe won't see it til noon. 😕 But thank you for this whenever I get to it.😊
This storm is the last chance for those late planted soybeans. All 400 acres severely wilted yesterday with the drier spots dying quickly. The forecast continues to cut the rainfall for us here along the Wabash in se Illinois. I'm guessing almost a 50% to 70% loss without rain.
At least ypur area has hope
Try watching that system be too far east, and then every other system is too far north and west
Stuck inbetween in the "NOTHING"
@johnmullies1807 the struggle is real.
I'm happy to know I'm closer to Alaska than I thought I was!
Great report.... Come on moisture!
Sitting here in central Montana, have missed rains all summer, really need this to hit here, one suggestion if possible like the precip amounts listed in colored areas but could they be made slightly larger, thanks for all the info every morning, have learned alot
Love the early post! Works well with my work schedule. Thanks again! I really appreciate the time and energy you put in to your work.
Appreciate it!
Planted fall food plots yesterday. Ready for rain
thanks again, hope you have a good day!!!!!!
I am glad we are getting some rain here in the Eastern Ozarks. It just seems these models always want to keep my area in the dry. Like a broken record. I have not seen all year Missouri in the deep greens and blues for rainfall by model comparison. When will this pattern fully break away from these darn constant ridges and dry conditions after Francine?
Any idea when the ridge over Wisconsin is going to weaken and leave. It has been wet all summer but we have been dry for almost 3 weeks now and the temperatures are 15 degrees higher than normal, not typical fall weather.
I was hoping everyone was wrong and the rain would make it to SE Kansas. Well, the meteorologists were right this time, imagine that. Drought sucks.
