"Porcelain Heart" from Opeth's "Watershed" album (2008).
I can confirm that this cover is 100% ACCURATE! Why? Ah lovely youtube channel called "David" has a bunch of Opeth videos with isolated bass tracks. Expect to see Hex Omega and The Lotus Eater soon because there are isolated tracks of those songs too!
Alright, Porcelain Heart. A very typical Opeth song right. Heavy riff, lovely vocals, heavy riff, more lovely vocals, melodic riff, lovely vocals, super heavy riff. There is a problem though. Heavy riff 2 (2:22) has a part that will throw you off for sure. The drums are just busy with one big fill which makes it VERY difficult to time those notes. It's like you have to ignore the drums, but the drums are doing everything to get your attention.
Anyway, you'll get to wait for about 3 minutes in total during this song which is nice. The later heavy riffs require some energy so the 2 minute long build-up is great.
Some important information that nobody is going to read.
