Nice video! Thanx for this one! How did you route the cables when installing it again? I just stuck the cables down and connected them but now side window hits the cables when lowering.
Hi...you need to route them behind the slyding window rail...not in front Is a tight place just enogh to get the plugs in...hope this helps Thx for watching sir
@@howtowithjohn581 Ok so I have to route them "correct" when inserting them in the door? I mean I cant just route them after I stick in the cables in the door and tighten the bolt? And behind the rail, you mean the front direction of the car (when the door is closed), right?
Hi do you know any place you get a exploded drawing of the side mirror? My folding motor in the door mirror have stopped working and I would like to replace it.
Okay will check it, the motor seems to work from time to time but moves really slow compared to the passenger side. I tried to clean with air and lubricate the mirror from the outside. How do I access the motor within the mirror?
You have to take it apart...but if it works try to lube the moving pin because the aluminium body have like a white corosion and get that pin or hinge locked...be careful that pin is spring loaded,can rip your fingers off...try on ebay or scrap for one...but you still can repair yours but takes time...will have a look at the shop if i have a mirror or a car and make a video with a complete stripdown...cheers

I’ve got the same issue
I just dismantled my door card to change the mirror...what size start bit holds the mirror? Its quite large so need to buy the bit.
