Personally, I believe Cody vs. Reigns III should take place several years down the line, serving as a final chapter. The match that started this era should also be the one to end it. No title, no stipulation, just a pure wrestling match between two top stars of this generation before they retire.
I mean, we still have yet to see WM main events like Cody/Randy, Roman/Seth, Roman/Rock, Cody/Punk etc. So when it’s all said and done, the two guys could finally get their proper rematch.
That’s just my headcanon booking. Idk how much sense it makes.

Cody/Roman III doesn't have to be at Mania 41. Down the road at Summerslam or a Rumble most likely. This should be the phase of their rivalry where ala Rock and Austin from 2000 where they begrudgingly co-exist as baby faces. They don't gotta like each other but that respect is there and then eventually down the road a third match perhaps for a shot at the title could work perfectly.
Cody Roman 3 should be WM 44 or something, give us time to further prpgess these characters, it's very clear The Rock is facing one of these guys at WM 41.

@@Sooplex Yeah I personally don't want Cody Roman 3 at Mania, but if they insist, that should be Roman's retirement or something.
I would've done it at WM 43 with a face Roman Reigns and heel Cody Rhodes to make it more fresh. That's just me.
