I'm so happy to hear that as well! Thank you so much! I also love seeing all the finished diamond paintings that other people have completed also. You are welcome! 😊
I did the tape too. LOL!! Those are nice. I have 68 kits right now and I am a huge DAC purchaser!! All of my kits come from DAC, I participated in Dekotathon and summer with the masters. I started painting in 2019
For now, I will stick to washi tape. Thank you! DAC is a great place to buy high-quality canvas's although they are on the more expensive side. lol, they are still very nice.
I like dark themes! Those are the ones I’m most interested in. I work 3rd shift too and I just started diamond painting and I had to invest in a light pad and it has made a world of difference! I have lots to learn as well!! I’ve seen that witch painting and wasn’t sure how it would look but it turned out better than I thought!
A lightpad is definitely worth the investment, especially if you’re noticing strain on your eyes, it helps so much! And I love that penny wise and Georgie one! But that mystery one is awesome too!!
My fiance ended up buying me the A1 from ArtDot store through Amazon for me. So I got very lucky. I actually have a video of it. If you haven't seen it, you should go check it out!. It really does wonders! I love mine.
I really think you just have to do whatever works for you. I’ve been diamond painting for 2 1/2 years all of the time and love it! I don’t section mine. I just start at a corner and work my way around using a color as long as I can reach it, or, do components of the overall picture then do the next easiest to reach section. Really pretty random. If I get bored or tired of one I switch to a different one. I just do what’s fun for me! I paint my finished paintings black around the painting and pin them up in my craft room adjacent to each other so it’s a mosaic/ stained glass kind of effect. Not for everyone but ir makes me happy to see my completions. Your video is great! Thanks!
Thank you so much!! I like to learn from others as I go and figure out what works best for me. Everyone has thier own way of learning and trying new ways of doing things. That sounds really cool on the way you swt urs up.
I am new to ur channel so far u are doing great my favorite one is the cat with the coffee cup it’s so cute I’m new to this diamond art as well I don’t have much but hopefully I can get more lol cuz I’m soooo hooked ty for ur content plz keep up the good work
I have seen light pad at the dollar tree. You can use that until you can afford a better one. You can also get washing tape at Walmart as well. I understand about the cover being so thin. What I did was remove mine and use parchment paper. Not wax paper, It works a lot better for me. You are doing an amazing job. Just keep watching other channels, and you will be able to pick up more tips, and on your last canvas that you finished, I really feel like that's a cat. Great video.
My fiance bought me one already. I have a video on it on my channel. Thank you!. I have been learning a lot about diamond painting and continue to learn more 😊
Hi, I am new to Diamond painting. I 've only been doing it since September of '22 I've gotten 5 30x40s done and 3 Various other big paintings and I am on my 4th big painting now which is a 40x80cm I'm almost done with that one I am thinking another 2 days or so. I love seeing other peoples finished works. Everyone has their own taste in Art and I love seeing the different DPs that I wouldn't necessarily go to for myself. A light board is a GREAT investment IMO. I love mine to death I don't know what I would do without it. I don't use Washi tape but thats next on my list of things to try while Diamond Painting I hate when my arms and hands get stuck on the sticky parts of the outer edge lol. I use an Xacto knife to cut the plastic into sections and use Cover minders to prop the plastic back while I work on the section and when I am done I just cut the plastic off that section. I am loving the little girl with her cat and doll house. That one has a lot of great detail in it I would totally go and get that one for myself so "creepycute" lol. I am a HUGE horror movie person Pennywise, Michael Myers, Chucky, Pinhead, Ghost Face all my jam lol. I'm so into horror films I named my black and white Maltepoo dog Samara after the ghost girl in The Ring lol. I haven't done one "scary" diamond painting yet though, unfortunately. But it is on my list for sure lol.
That's awesome! I feel like i should have more done by now honestly but I just don't have the time to do as many as i would like with working full time. But i do enjoy the hobby it self! Some of them can be challenging..for me anyway lol I do plan on having a bigger variety of course as my channel progresses and i hope you will enjoy those as well :) I love my light board! I still can't believe my fiance bought me the A 1 but I'm just so happy to have it. It has really helped me out a lot. I honestly like doing the washi tape method. It helps me section out my dp's. Other people do use release paper and i have never tried it before but so far I"m enjoying the washi tape so i will stick to it for the meantime! I bought me a Craft knife. I actually made a video on it if you would like to go check it out! i bought it off Amazon. It work great for me! Before i bought it I was actually using a blade..... so not so safe lol.... i finally upgraded to my craft knife. So glad I did! I love horror movies tooooo lol I have a whole collection of horror movies. I love them. That's cute lol If you are ever interested in buying any of those diamond paintings i have links in the description for that video for them so you can find them easier :)
Thank you so much for this helpful tip! I will keep that in mind. I noticed a lot of others have their peices flat down on the table, too. Next time, I made an updated completed completed colection if you don't mind to let me know if it's better! I was completely new to making videos, so I didn't know how to angle right for my videos to show these, lol. I felt like people couldn't see them, so that's why I did that.
I have a light pad but don’t use it. I prefer what my husband calls a nerd light or nerd glasses with a built in light - high power magnifying glasses from Amazon with a built in light, or, dollar store glasses with a regular head lamp. I like lighter color/ theme paintings though. The light pad does help with dark colors. I also have a light that attaches to my table that is multi- angle. Me at my workbench table diamond painting is quite the site I’m sure! Lots of ways to make it work, have fun!
Yes, everyone has their preferences! I love my light board. I can tell a huge difference when I turn it off. Those diamond paintings were mostly older ones I had done, but I have done more. Been working on a mystery one, and I'm almost done with it! I have kind of a small table to work for diamond painting. Eventually, I am going to invest in a better one. I found one at Hobby Lobby. I want to get
this is coming 2 months late. You've probably bought your light pad already. I splurged and bought one with a magnetic feature to it and love that I can use heavy magnets on it to keep my picture in place when I/m working on it. It also will hold those little magnetic plastic place holders (mind is blank as to correct name). I really love mine. This is my 3rd and I got it A3 size too which is sooo nice to have a big light board. As for the sectioning off your paintings are concerned. my preferred way is to take the plastic off entirely and replace it with PARCHMENT paper - then section it off with my blade. I can still see the painting underneath, but I don't have the plastic to contend with .
Yes, my fiance actually got me the A1. He knew I needed/wanted one for a bit. I actually have a video on my channel if you want to and check thay out. But yea, I have preferred to use washi tape after watching a few videos on here. So far, it has helped. But I will consider other options in the near future just to see which method I like better. I used to actually leave the original plastic that came with the canvas on it, and I use my blade and cut a section out and do it that way. But I decided to finally get me craft knife for safer usage and so far I have enjoyed using it
No, you are not new, but you are still learning in the process. I have actually learned so much about diamond painting in the past few months from a diamond painting group that I'm a part of on fb. Such as new and easier ways to diamond paint. Tips and tricks. Yes, I realized most of them are dark themes, but I will be expanding my variety in my future videos
I’m also new to your channel. One of my favorite videos is seeing everyone’s finishes. I’ve only being painting for 4 months. Thank you for sharing ❤
I'm so happy to hear that as well! Thank you so much! I also love seeing all the finished diamond paintings that other people have completed also. You are welcome! 😊

I love that mystery kit so much!! 🖤✨ Great finishes! Thanks for sharing!
Thank you! Ur welcome
I love them all, very much my style. My favourite is the don't fix me one, but I would buy them all. Thank you so much for showing all these💗
U welcome! I love the dark theme also but I will have more of a variety for diamond paintings coming up.
I thought i commented before on my favorite one but i love the hocus pocus!
I use the blank stickersheets as reveal paper to section my paintings and that works really well.
That's great! I prefer to use washi tape to section off mine. I just feel more organized less overwhelmed.
I am new to ur channel so far u are doing great my favorite one is the cat with the coffee cup it’s so cute I’m new to this diamond art as well I don’t have much but hopefully I can get more lol cuz I’m soooo hooked ty for ur content plz keep up the good work
Thank you so much!! Thaes diamond paintings can be addictive if ur not careful lol
I love Ariel and I love horror movies I have hocus pocus too!
I'm honestly wanting to watch the new Ariel movie. That's really kool!

I love my LED dimmable light pad under my DPs! Amazon has them reasonably priced!
I have considered buying one there also. I'm sure when I finally get one, that it will be a life savor 😊 Do you have a link to it by any chance?
I love the Nightmare Before Christmas one 🥰
Great job!
I'm also a huge cat lover (I have 4😺😺) and new to diamond painting
I got a few cat ones from SHEIN
Thank you! My dad used to own a lot of them. I guess that's where I get it from, lol. That's cool!

watching your video . when you show your finished pictures keep them flat on the table because when you run them up and down it makes you feel I'll.

Thank you for stopping by 😊
How did you get them flat ?
I had them layed out on my table that i use to diamond painting. If that's what you were asking.
How big is this
Which one are you talking about?
Those are nice but I wish you would've told us what size each of them is. It's hard to tell.
I'm so sorry about that.. I didn't think too, but I'm going to put it in the description.
I have all the sizes in the description now, so hopefully, that will help!
@@CraftyCammy23thank you for doing that. i’m just starting so this helps me pick the size that hopefully won’t be too overwhelming.
@@michelef689 ur very welcome!
That is a mummy mouse
I didn't know what it was lol
The big one, its a cat beside her... An odd looking one, but it is a cat.......
Yea, I figured out it was a ghost cat after someone had mentioned it
You love cats but can't tell that is a ghost cat?
That is a ghost cat FYI lol
Oh ok lol. I had no idea what it was lol
Once you have done 1 diamond painting you are not new to the craft. Not much to it. Sorry most of these are too dark in theme.
No, you are not new, but you are still learning in the process. I have actually learned so much about diamond painting in the past few months from a diamond painting group that I'm a part of on fb.
