My Mum died of Lewy Body dementia, or at least that was the last diagnosis after the doctors changed their mind several times. If I had taken this research to her doctor he would have looked at me like I had fallen out of a tree. Most doctors dont have time to deal with what they see as busy body relatives. I showed him research about how the gut and microbiome were linked to the brain and he told me that it was nonsense. This is what is so terrifying about getting ill; being at the mercy of arrogant Western doctors who have neither the time or the inclination to listen to families or think outside of the box.

I had a doctor who " fired "me when I asked about non radiation treatment and because I refused a full body bone scan to see if the tiny nodule in my thyroid had released any cancer cells. There were none. I'm still pretty healthy seven years later. I asked him a simple question and was told that I made no sense. At 77, I trust me, not him.

there is a TedX talk by a woman bringing simple info on coconut oil as antidote to dementia and alzheimers, so-called. The body heals itself, which is why "cure" is not needed, and is in fact nothing but an idea that fuels charity and mega-finance; instead, getting out of the way of the body healing is required: a thing doctors don't subscribe to, not suprising, since there is so much pharma in modern medicine, it's almost impossible to discern what health is really like, and how say, the microbiome is directly linked to the brain, just for example.

I got a case of shingles and had the lesions all over my left elbow. I went to the doctor. She gave me meds and told me the shingles would last 3 to 5 weeks. It was very painful. I had Ivermectin liquid on hand because I that my dogs with it for parasites once a month. I drew out a ml. and topically applied it to the lesions. The pain subsided within 30 minutes and the lesions started shrinking. I applied the Ivermectin every 6 hours for three days. By the 4th day the Lesions had disappeared leaving only a discoloration. I also put 1.5 ml. In a shot glass and added some fruit juice and took an oral dose 3 times a day for 3 days. I returned to my doctor within 7 days. She was shocked at the speedy recovery. She also said she uses a form of Ivermectin in tablets she has compounded at a pharmacy, but she was not allowed to prescribe it. Oh by the way, I purchase Ivermectin at the farm supply store.

One of the main problems with brain problems today is the fact that the medical system has stopped people from eating the natural fats that keep our brain and body fit and healthy. Cholesterol is one of the most important foods to keep the brain functioning correctly. Eg; natural salted butter is full of healthy cholesterol and is also a natural anti fungal treatment

I have been a student of medical mycology for 50 years. Certain common fungi proceed poisons called "Mycotoxins." The mold is penicillium, the mycotoxin it makes is called "penicillin." In 1945, we discovered that penicillin is neurotoxic. We are commonly exposed to these fungal neurotoxins in our cereal grains and beer, to name a few. I have published on mycotoxin induced neurotoxicity for many years and have given CME classes on it. Thank you for allowing this truth to surface.....well done! Of course, since mycotoxins are neurotoxic to all cell components, it is not surprising at all that the mitochondria are adversely affected.

I think the boxes we build to live in are incubators for pathogenic invasion… especially drop ceilings and drywall. We should be using abundant building materials like cob or clay in the desert, it actually sucks in moisture and I’ve heard can be anti microbial. The best my body and lungs felt in my adult life is when I was backpacking across the country sleeping outside, it’s crazy how stuffy it is in these houses, especially with these fungal spores and blight in the air saturating AC filters

My childhood homes were mold free, my Grandma, Aunt & Mom all lived in an original homestead house, in a very damp area of the Oregon coast, and into a ‘land claim’ valley. Mold /mustiness was always an issue , as they only had a wood stove on the lower level & a vent that ‘warmed’ the upstairs.
Where I live now, is my childhood home, as I moved in to help my Mom after she was diagnosed with ‘early’ Alzheimer’s,. there has been a roof leak from a skylight & fireplace, which drips down two of the knotty pine ceiling boards. in the living-room, at my Mothers home. This only happens during strong driving rains, but for many years..
We will be getting the roof re-done as soon as we sell our home, which will finance the projects that need to be done.

Thirty years ago my friend and her husband took under their wing an elderly gentleman (in his 80's), who had Parkinson's. He was restricted to wheelchair movement only, was overweight, weak, depressed, and on four medications for the illness. They fed him a strict macrobiotic wholefood vegeterian diet.
After only a few weeks he dropped two of the medications. His strength returned in time and he was able to walk again and dispensed with the wheelchair. The other two medications were dropped after a couple of months. He had a new lease of life - could shop for himself, and do normal daily activities. His great joy was to be able to play with his grandchildren.
I get very demoralised when I here such things as a billion dollars raised for research into PD. Great that people are contributing, but do we need a laboratory and a microscope to find the cause. No, we need to pull the lense way back and observe the day to day habits we all enact - particularly what we put in our bodies (IE: food and drink). We're being too clever to see the obvious!
parkinsons disease is man made from all the pesticides and chemicals we have used and injested in the food we eat .A recent University of California, Davis study found that pregnant women living near fields treated with the pesticide chlorpyrifos were three times more likely to have a child with autism. In addition, prenatal exposure to chlorpyrifos has been linked to anomalies in the brain’s surface, causing lower IQs. Early childhood exposure has been linked to developmental delays.
California counties with highest use of chlorpyrifos, including agricultural uses and nonagricultural uses, such as landscaping, mosquito control and, before 2001, residential fumigation
Chlorpyrifos belongs to a particularly toxic family of pesticides called organophosphates. These pesticides work as neurotoxins to kill insects. In bigger doses, they’re also neurotoxins for humans.
Chlorpyrifos used to be commonly used inside peoples’ homes to control insects.
I started researching chemical use in the US back about 20 years ago. I eliminated almost all conventional cleaners, went organic, used natural personal care products, refused chemical carpet cleaners, avoided anything listed as scented, non-stick or water / dirt proof, etc. I've saved money and feel I've protected my family and myself to a great extent.

Doctors have REFUSED to ACKNOWLEDGE my health problems and help me usually citing how dangerous antifungals are. NOW I am losing my toenails to two rare types of fungus according to the biopsy and I had to FIGHT for over 2 months to get the right antifungal meds. I may never be able to wear open toed shoes again thanks to these so called "professionals", I have a chronic cough for over 30 years along with the Candida, and now in the last few months a chronic sore throat which I can tell is very different from a viral or bacterial sore throat. It just won't go away and since Covid, trying to get appts.....forget it. Doctors are either not taking new patients or you have to leave a message asking for an appt only to NEVER get the callback. to @A Teachable Heart. I use the philosophy, if it's biological, it can be controlled.
I'm no doctor but I've had some personal success for myself. (A. cough. A chronic mucus irritation, possibly). For me it was mostly at night and noticed by family, more. In my case wheat and milk were the culprits; it can be anything your body doesn't really like, fish or sugar, but a process of elimination for at least one month, before reintroduction will reveal it. This math you have to do.
Nail issues are problematic, taking time, but concentrate on encouraging nail re-growth. blood circulation in the legs and feet, so weight, gentle regular walks, massage (use your own hands) in addition to daily brief foot washing, well dried feet. No sugar in the diet will radically boost chances of success, enough water to drink before 3pm (tap is good enough, but filtered is best), and regular salads and greens. It takes time and dedication. Oh yes, clean socks daily or none. It's diamond if you manage it! Don't be worry about it, just do the correct things and it will come right in the long run. All the best!

    • @bron-sconcess.10
      @bron-sconcess.10 Рік тому +16

A p.s., @A Teachable Heart. I just re-read your post. At 13, I was given Septrin (Co-trimoxozole) for acne. I was hit with Candida on and off in different forms for too long, even when I had my first child at 30! As a confessed chocoholic, it was no wonder! I just had a 'sweet tooth', I didn't gorge, but I'd say cutting down was easy, stopping, was not.
You may be interested to know fungal infections is being recognised for the plague it can be, including affecting our brain.
You will know what to do in your situation, but doing it might require help - a lot. Doctors will be unable to relate, or be concerned.
I'm not especially a Keto fan, but for you 6 months of Ketogenic diet, (or anti-Candida diet, as all fungal issues would be rebalanced), would go a long way to help you, in my non-expert opinion.) @@bron-sconcess.10 I do thank you for your wise words. I'm retired also and have been battling these issues for almost 33 years now. I believe I have SIBO< all the symptoms fit but doctors don't know what that is. APECED is another very likely probability but AGAIN doctors don't know anything about that either. I fit 90% of those symptoms and only stumbled on learning about APECED because during two (months apart) Hidascans to find out what is wrong, after the test all my symptoms went away. During that procedure they adminster CCK. CCK is what is released from the Neuro endocrine cells lining the small bowel for digestion. So I wondered.....might I be CCK deficient???
I searched this out and found medical white papers about APECED and was gobsmacked at all the symptoms that are connected. Many of them, I had already been suffeirng with for years, only now new ones added. I had one hope. I found a primary care doctor who was willing to help me, then she became ill and left the practice. Now, I'm back at square one.
BTW, oral candidiasis and toenail fungal infections are two of the major symptoms.

Been taking MB daily 5 drops 3 times a day. Only on my third week and the results are nothing short of outstanding. I’m 49, have been on the healing journey for a few years now. MB has been the missing link for me. I now have more oxygen and cellular energy. I have lots of energy to get through the day and really get stuff done. I no longer suffer the mood swings, anxiety or depression. I’m breathing deeper and sleeping much better. It is anti aging. I feel better than I did when I was younger.
My thinking is sharp and mind is clear. No brain fog. Skin feels and looks amazing. Scalp psoriasis is greatly improved. I add my drops to OJ and don’t have to deal with blue teeth or mouth. Just an overall sense of well being and feeling content. Starts working very quickly when you begin taking it. I have no more UTI’s either that often accompany post menopausal women.
It’s inexpensive and the best thing I’ve experienced to date. I am on zero big Pharma meds. Other great additions to this nootropic that I use: Borax (boron) MSM, DMSO, Lugol Iodine, Diatomaceous earth, ivermectin, sublingual b complex, organic apple cider vinegar, super enzymes (with bile salts and betaine hcl) kombucha, magnesium chloride, additional thiamin. I regularly take detox baths with Borax, baking soda and magnesium chloride. Use red light therapy with the MB. They are synergistic. Intermittent fasting. Avoid all fluoride in water and tooth products. Avoid Teflon cookware. Avoid GMO’s. Get vitamin D from the sun. Do parasite cleansing occasionally with ivermectin or green black walnut tincture. Avoid any innoculations.
    Drastically reduced sugar intake.

It would be interesting to hear if your copper and zinc levels have ever been tested? One (although only one) of the active parts of Methylene Blue is copper. Some of your improvement might be because you're correcting a long-term copper deficiency. Or even a chronic one, if your body uses more that the average amount of copper for some reason.
Mind you, I'm not saying you'd have the same results with copper only! Keep doing what you're doing!
I picked up on this because copper and zinc are opposites in some regards. And psoriasis is usually strongly correlated to low zinc, or a zinc malabsorption issue. (The body gets rid of excess zinc it can't use by pushing it to the skin and flaking it off.) Oh, and low zinc is also indicated in many mental conditions. But too much copper also causes concentration and mood issues. Most famously PMS volatility in women, as oestrogen drives copper levels up so that loss of iron during menstruation wouldn't drive haemoglobin too low.
This is fascinating me because you don't seem to have either one of the most typical conditions: too much copper and too little zinc, or vice versa. So it must be an upstream issue, or an offshoot of a completely different problem.
On that note: Do take a look at Dr. Amy Yasko's methylation pathway chart. You might find something there to interest you. The easiest way to find it is probable a picture search on your browser for "yasko methylation pathway". It's good to start with the pictorial presentation because this contains a huge amount of information, and trying to browse through text to the personally relevant takes a lot more work.
Finally, a small thing: Could you please confirm to us non-native English speakers that the OJ you mentioned is not a supplement brand but good old Orange Juice, as I suspect? :)

Thank you very much Dr. Jones for this very interesting lecture! I will talk to my mum's neurologist about it tomorrow. She has just been diagnosed with Alzheimer's and also has tremulus.
She has always been afraid of getting a kidney condition and whenever the doctor found bacteria in her urine (without symptoms) she took antibiotics. 1 to 2 times a year! I believe that she severely damaged her microbiome and thus promoted Alzheimer's disease.
At the same time, she always ate a lot of cereals, carbohydrates, starchy vegetables, "healthy" fruit (sugar) and home-squeezed orange juice.
You should always remember that fungi feed on sugar!!! This means that sugar, carbohydrates and starchy foods should be strictly avoided.
I write "should" because my mum has so far refused to give them up. Sugar/carbs are supposed to be an addiction, just like smoking, alcohol and drugs. You have to have mental strength to give it up. And AD patients certainly don't have that :-(

Sounds great but when will it hit and how much will it cost? The drug companies don't care about keeping costs down. In the meantime the best way to deal with chronic infection is through fasting, all dementia has insulin resistance and mitochondrial dysfunction presentation, and fasting reverses this quickly. Some of the many benefits of doing occasional extended fasting: Blood clotting is reduced and blood clots and arterial plaque are reabsorbed into the body. High blood pressure is lowered to normal levels very quickly while fasting. Fibrosis/scarring is reversed over time.
    Fasting increases nitric oxide release.
Vitamin D plasma levels are increased as fasting improves metabolic health, and vitamin D in turn increases autophagy.
Stomach acid is reduced over time while fasting and can allow for the healing of treatment resistant ulcers, but some patients may need continued acid reducation medication while fasting.
Telomeres are lengthened and fasting also increases anti-aging Yamanaka factors.
Fasting stimulates phagocytosis, the ingestion of bacteria, plaques and viruses by the immune system. It will also remove any 'foreign material' that is not supposed to be there.
Reflexes and short term memory are increased.
Fasts from 36-96 h actually INCREASE metabolic rate due to norepinephrine release!
After 72 hours or more fasted, your body recycles as much as 1/3 of all immune bodies and creates new ones, rejuvenating your entire immune system.
Fasting can help with MS, Depression, BPD, Autism and seizures.
Thymus is regenerated, which suppresses aging and renews the immune system. The thymus also plays a vital role in fighting cancer.
Weight loss from daily caloric restriction has 1/4 to 1/3 of the weight lost as lean tissue while many studies show fat loss from 36 h fasts without losing any lean tissue! The hunger hormone ghrelin also lowers with extended fasting and rises from dieting.
Blood sugar and insulin are lowered, allowing white blood cells to move more freely throughout the body and do their job. Some viruses activate glycolosis (the release of sugar in the body) and clinically it has been shown that decreasing glucose metabolism in the body weakens the influenza virus.
When you move out of MTOR your body shuts down the building blocks of the cell which are used to produce organelles and proteins. This means the mechanisms needed by viruses to replicate are by and large unavailable when you are in a deeply fasted state.
What breaks a fast? Anything with protein or carbohydrates in it will break a fast, though if the amount is tiny you will go back into ketosis very quickly. Most teas and herbs are OK. Most supplements and meds will either break ketosis directly or contain a filler that will. Many meds are dangerous to take while fasting.
Does fasting lower testosterone? No, it raises it when the fast is broken by increasing lutenizing hormone. Fasting also increases insulin sensitivity, which helps with muscle building.
Fasts of 36-96 will not affect short term female fertility or affect menstrual cycle. They also may increase long term fertility, especially in women with PCOS.
The hormone Leptin is an immunomodulator that keeps the body from attacking itself and obesity causes leptin resistance. Fasting very quickly reduces leptin resistance and leptin levels and one day of fasting can cut your leptin levels in half and gets your immune system working properly again!
Does the body preferentially prefer glucose as a fuel? No, except for brief periods of very intense exercise, your body mainly burns fats in the form of free fatty acids. Your brain also prefers to burn ketones at a rate of around 2.5 to 1 when they are available in equal quantity to glucose.
Fasting stimulates the AMPK complex and activates autophagy. Autophagy (literally self eating) will cause cells to recycle foreign matter such as viruses and kill cancerous and senescent cells. AMPK does many helpful things in the body including activating the body's antioxidant defenses.
Deep ketosis virtually eliminates chronic inflammation in the body. When not in ketosis, the brain can only burn carbohydrate, which produces a great deal of damaging ROS the brain has to deal with.
It increases mitochondrial function and repairs mitichondrial DNA, leading to improved ATP production and oxygen efficiency and thereby making cells better able to fight off infection. Increased mitochondrial function also has the added benefit of increasing your metabolism and cancer prevention!
When you fast, this stimulates apoptosis in senescent or genetically damaged cells, which destroys them. Senescent cells are responsible for many of the effects of aging and are a root cause of the development of cancer.
Fasting also releases BDNF and NGF in the blood which stimulates new nerve and brain cell growth. This can help a great deal with diseases like MS, peripheral neuropathy and Alzheimers.
In fact, the biochemical regulator of BDNF production is beta-hydroxybutyrate, which is the same ketone the body produces to nourish the brain while fasting.
Fasting also increases telomere length, negating some of the effects of aging at a cellular level.
A fasting mimicking diet for 3-5 days in a row also provides many of the same benefits as water fasting. FMD usually has 200-800 calories, under 18 g of protein and extremely low carbs.
Children, pregnant or nursing women should not fast for periods longer than 16 hours. People with pancreatic tumors or certain forms of hypoglycemia generally cannot fast at all. Type 1 diabetics can also fast but it is more complicated and should be approached with caution as it could lead to ketoacidosis. Those with Addison's disease may also be unable to fast without liberal use of exogenous ketones, depending on severity. If you experience extreme symptoms of some kind, especially dizziness then simply break the fast and seek advice.

I work in mold remediation in New Jersey. So I've studied toxic molds & worked with labs. The truth is it's the mycotoxins that are dangerous. Not the mold. As the high majority of mold do NOT emit mycotoxins. It's less than a dozen that do. And molds only emit "dangerous" mycotoxins under specific conditions. 1) Has to be the right strain of mold 2) right environment to culture or grow the mold 3) has to exist in very large colonies to create high enough levels of the dangerous mycotoxins. This is actually not common at all. And was studied by weapons manufactures who wanted to study possible new, biological weapons. Then realized mold would make a terrible "weapon" for many reasons. What's more likely is these people who think they're being poisoned by mold, are actually B-6 toxic from eating high B-6 foods too many years in a row. B-6 toxicity will feed candida or any type of fungus. But it's not the fungus causing the damage. It's high levels of B-6 in the brain or muscles that attack nerves, the peripheral and yes the central nervous system over time. The only way to stop a B-6 inflammatory cascade is to eat a low B-6 diet for a year or 2. That will clean all the lipfuscin granules from the brain which is the real cause of alzheimers & dementia. And will also clean the toxic aldehydes from the nervous sytem. Your body & brain rely on a horrible toxin to survive. B-6 is that toxin. This is why you strictly limit B-6 expsoure to a max of 1.4mg a day. Anything higher will accumulate in the brain & poison cells & nerves.

What I heard him talk about was the research done after administering this fungus medication to test the effects it had on the mitochondria of 40 mice ( not human trials as of yet) in two different study groups. The results were very impressive on the “40” mice. I did not hear him discuss dosages or treatment plans using anti-fungal. It sounds very exciting. What I would be most interested in at this point is a follow up video to the research that he is citing. This Was posted two years ago, which doesn’t necessarily mean that’s the year the research was done. ‘Ive watched several videos talking about methylene blue that are current, but none of them are referencing fungus as his research suggested as having a connection to the Mitochondria as it relates to the neurological problems he is talking about. It appears that his research and practice centers around mold, which may be why his focus is finding research that connects to his primary practice. It all sounds promising. I’m excited about the methylene blue, but he recommends give strict warnings on what type I.e. pharmaceutical grade, and safe dosage Formulation. I wish he had inserted a link for people to purchase it through.

I would have to stop several times and could never gather myself to make it to the top peak. And then going down was also tricky because of muscle fatigue. I was lucky to go once a week. Fast-forward to yesterday......my cardio ability was easily double than normal and this was after I hadn't been to the trail in 2 weeks! In fact, if it wasn't for the poor conditioning in my legs (muscle strength) I wouldn't have had to stop on the ascent at all!!! At the time I had just discovered the internet, and I learned SO MUCH GOOD INFORMATION, especially regarding naturopathic medicine, and I have thousands of hours of research, and sifting through the nonsense, and it truly taught me so much, I was considering enrolling in the highly accredited and nearby Bastyr University. But as helpful and beneficial was the knowledge that I gained, it really didn't seem like a viable way to make a living. I already have a trade anyway, and I like it. But on a journey to Costa Rica once, I met this doll of a woman from The Hamptons and she specializes in women's health problems, VERY RICH WOMEN'S health problems, and man she was set. We got along famously. I was such a stud, LOL.
I've gotten away from running but still feel like I benefit from it to this day.Started growing wheat grass. For what it's worth. Toss a shot or two of that into a bit of Rejuvelac, and man, nothing tastes better, or more magical, and full of life essences than that.
I shall shut up now. I am going to begin again, more so along the path you have chosen. But my previous knowledge is still there and will work together to form an improved me.👍😎

Thank you for reporting on this study. I found it fascinating. It also reminded me of something I read many years ago about the American Indian's use of several herbs to treat the "wasting" disease, i.e. cancer. I only remember one of the herbs - burdock; but, there were four altogether. The article I read about the analysis of the effects of these herbs stated that they, all combined, killed bacteria and fungi of various kinds in the body!! Particularly the gut. This herbal practice of the American Indians was traditional medicine and preceded modern medicine by hundreds of years. The article was not pejorative, but it did state that this treatment was not really effective vis-a-vis modern medicine. It is interesting to note this commonality of connection regarding the root cause of degenetative disease. I am not advocating use of these herbs for any kind of treatment!! I find it interesting that this modern research has, or rather is, furnishing the "why" of how cancer and these neurological diseases we suffer from form in our bodies and the potential mechanisms to thwart the harm and return to full health without the use of the type of chemotherapy and radiation in use today. It is possible that we are in a transitional period where real scientific research can make a comeback from its current thethering to Big Pharma with its sole interest being the proliferation of their own profit-oriented products to the detriment of the health of the American People. A change in perspective is needed along with the complete oversight of the drug industry by uncorrupted agencies. Something we do not currently have. Excuse the last few statements of strictly personal opinion. Nothing to do with your fantastic reporting and breakdown explanation on the importance of this research. Clearly, there are still healers in the world who are interested in promoting human health. I am grateful.

I took Golden Seal, capsules and oral drops, for my severe oral thrush/candida. It worked great, better than nystatin. The thing is though you have to take it with a biofilm dissolver 20 minutes before(I used Ther-Biotic Interfase by SFI health), so it can cut through the biofilm the candida creates to live in and actually kill it. But when candida dies it releases toxins which can cause flu like symptoms, I was recommended charcoal to help absorb and remove the toxins without making me feel sick. So I take the goldenseal (800mg by Natures Way), activated charcoal capsules(560 mg by Natures Way) at the same time.
I used the golden seal drops to specifically target the mouth. I don’t remember the brand and I didn’t use a biofilm dissolver or charcoal when I did it. Oral thrush is actually in the whole gastrointestinal tract, which starts at the mouth.

I think I fell in love with a teenager with brain damage from pesticide. He lived in the middle of an apple orchard and his mother died of brain cancer by the time he was 18. He was getting bullied by people that didn't want us to know one another much less be together and he just ignored it that they were bullies and did anything they said. And the bullies couldn't figure out why I would want the retard guy that was so easy to bully. In short, it was an unmitigated disaster. I had to get pretty old to figure all that out. Decades and decades. I was lightly brain damaged by the hep B vaccine at 42, although the inflammatory arthritis and just general fatigue were the worst. What if your true love got brain damaged by a vaccine and was badly autustic or something and it just couldn't work. And the confusion until you worked it out. Of course, some people don't love anybody, ever. Any way, modern medicine and toxic farming has done a lot of destroying quality of life in the name of "health". Dentistry is pretty screwed up, too. I mean mercury! You could totally prevent all cavaties with ozone at home, or at the dental clinic, and never get drilled period.
