Hey everybody! Thanks for watching this video of My Favorite Musicians Tier List. I've been getting requests to just tell you who my favorite artists/rappers/bands/singers are for a while. Thought I'd finally end the suspense. Obviously, a lot of these are pretty expected. Either they're already heavily featured in my videos...or it's somebody like Stevie Wonder, and it's like ... who doesn't love Stevie Wonder? Anyways, hope you like it! Let me know some of your favorite musicians down below.
Favorite / Musicians / Artists / Bands / Rappers / Tier / List / Best / List / Ranked / Countdown / Top / 50 / Review / Reaction
didn't expect that crazy frog would be S tier but i still respect your opinion
Wasn't really expecting PSY to be here but glad he got a S tier
This comment section is slowly turning into Melon’s
Shaade wasn’t expecting melon here but I respect your choice
jazz S tier comment 🤷🏻♂️
Loaded diaper at S tier, I would consider them a bit ok
cant believe you didn't put various artists on here
Feat. didn't even get a shoutout what the fuck
That guys versatility is *insane*
I find various artists to be hit or miss really, but each to their own
Yeah like Michael Jackson
You didn’t put “feat” on the tier list? The amount of songs they’re in is astounding
hmm idk Ft. is up there.
@@iamhereblossom1588 i like "with" more
I prefer - he be in every bloody song
i just got it
I only listen to old music thats why Ive grown to love remastered
I don't think anyone here is surprised that slim jesus is S tier
I still think IceJJFish should been an S, but an A is cool.
@@maxijgo23 IceJJFish deserves more than S in my opinion. Every single track is just perfection. He is practically the next Eminem.
I Have A Hand Revival Eminem also transcends S Tier
Naturally, of course...
And lil xan
i’m really glad NAV made the cut for s tier
Bold choice for him to but good intentions at every slot on his favorite albums video
It was also a bold move to put vanilla ice in A tier
fantano type comment
Havent finished the video yet, hes kidding right?
NAV really gets too much hate, smh
Can"t believe Playboi Carti took all 50 spots
@Joe ask melon.
@Joe basically its just a meme on anthony fantano for example "saying the n word for 4 minutes isnt a review melon"
Now that’s fair
@Joe beacuse hes so trash
“His contributions to kids see ghosts was GORGEOUS” I see what you did there
what do you mean?
K3rBsiDEdiiT kid cudi was on the song gorgeous
Aaahahahaha
It's because it ain't no question if he wants it, he needs it.
K3rBsiDEdiiT you’ve never listened to MBDTF
DJ Khaled on S tier? personally i disagree but i respect your opinion.
pls all dj khaled says is we the best music dj khaled another one
im kind of surprised there was no tyler or carseat headrest
Heck yeah to both of them.
i was expecting tyler
SS tier: Cal Chuchesta
East remix top rap song all time
Anson Hartzler thanks
True him and Pink Guy are SS+ tier
Greatest rapper in the game
Slap Chop is such an underrated masterpiece
“This group has made 8 amazing albums” Pablo Honey: :’)
I like Pablo Honey. It has that boyish charm and angst to it
Pablo Honey is still a 7/10 to me, The King Of Limbs is worse in my opinion
Pablo honey is a pretty good album, it's better than at least 2 of their ambient albums imo
Kid A
@@koenmetekohy1296 nahhhh
Ok, this man listens to a lot of music.
He doesn't at all
Not really but he does have really good taste

The rest is pretty great.
@@jacksoninc.4062 Why do you think Pink Floyd fans are not Kanye fans?
@@_a_random_person._ because of boomers?
I was a bit disappointed that David Bowie wasn't in there somewhere but everyone connects with different musicians and that's okay. Great list anyway!
You should make a video on why you think Kendrick is the best rapper of all time
He explains why in the beginning of this video ua-cam.com/video/3jsBUO2G68U/v-deo.html

Idk why but for some reason this was so peaceful to watch. You should make a video about your top 100 the next time, I'd gladly watch it
Logic bobbing in the video of Kendrick like "i can't to wait take that style"
S+ tier: Lil B
i mean, he is S+
Remember when he made a mixtape with over 600 songs

Imagine "Suck my dick hoe is one of the most influential songs of are generation"
This but unironically
Great list dude, I gotta say I've been digging into MF DOOM's insane discography as of late and he has quickly become one of my favorite rappers of all time
Hell yeah!
I love your videos, I always get excited when I see an Alfo Media notification.
Sufjan in A? His name starts with an S for a reason, my man
4:44 I shrieked. Denzel is my favorite artist of all time and I'm glad a huge channel like you is giving him much of the credit he deserves.
I really love the variety here. Great mix of genres and eras
I wasn’t expecting a handful of artists in your top 50, love it dude.
Great video man loved to hear how these musicians touched you personally
Definitely can respect this list and the musicians on it, I’ll consider listening to some of them later on.
Im a huge metalhead but watching this guy has broadened my musical horizons more than anyone else.
This was very entertaining to watch, and I want to make my own list
I appreciate and mostly agree with all of this. Very good video.
Can’t believe all the other thousands of artists weren’t on this list... truly disgusting that some people would do this horrible thing...
No Beyoncé, Ariana, Lady Gaga and Brittney Spears…..😐 worst tier I’ve seen in my life.
Don’t know why, but seeing Sufjan Stevens make the list made me really, really happy. Such a talented artist.
Sufjan is not talked about enough, one of the best artists (if not THE) of his generation
My Tier List would be..(these aren’t ranked per tier)

With guys like you in the world I don’t worry about music as much. Great choices!
Ya' gotta respect the S placement on Weird Al Yankovic, power move right there 💪
One of the best lists I've seen
damn man we have such insanely similar taste. our top tiers are almost identical with frank, kanye, and most importantly the beatles. the best part about that is that the few artists on here who ive never heard- i know i’ll love em. would love to meet you one day and just geek out on music.
this is the most respectable tier list i’ve ever seen

Number 10 is my favorite
Are you me? Kanye and Steely Dan are two of my all time favorite artists of all time too (alongside Sade, Billy Joel, Stevie Wonder, The Police, Sly & the Family Stone, Warren Zevon, Fiona Apple, etc). Great taste
@@thomasnelson5758 haha good man. I like all your other favorites too except I don’t think I’ve heard a lot of Warren Zevon so I’ll have to listen to some more.
@@mikewritz Zevon is great. Very Dan-esque songwriting, subversive, off-color humor and idiosyncratic lyricism. I'd recommend his live album Stand in the Fire, and his studio albums, Warren Zevon (self-titled, 1976) and Excitable Boy (1978)
wow love your videos 🙌
You may already know about him but your mention of Neo soul reminded me of an artist named “Wills” I found his music because his woes vs woahs was used in a car commercial and I went on a deep dive with his music, he takes inspiration from old spirituals like swing low sweet chariot and adds an electronic synth element to it. I would describe his music to be like the sound a subservient artificial intelligence would make when they’re gaining sentience and breaking free of their chains. He has these electronic orchestral hits that sounds like a record skipping which adds an amazing texture to the song and has a tremendous pay off when he eventually lets the entire sample play
Seeing Denzel Curry, Kid Cudi, and Jay-Z so low on this list made me excited to see the rest of the list. Great video.
opening the video with Carly is a perfect way to open
such a goated music taste dude
Stoked to see the beatles and the smiths on here. Subscribed
i feel like this guy based off how he describes his listening experiences..cries at least 5 times a day
Maaann I've listened to Prince's sign "o" the times and it's been on repeat for the past 3 months so i feel you
Holy shit I had the same experience as you... my dad played the white album nonstop as a little kid and it was the first time I really started to THINK about music
Bruh it’s crazy to even see Fishmans mentioned on one of these channels. I’m such a massive fan
I'm gonna be using this list to go discover a shit tonne of new music

Great tier list and really enjoyed the video! But it was kinda weird to see lil xan raking up the whole entire list on every tier but hey its ur opinion and i respect that!💪
I love the CRJ made it pretty up there!🙌🏾
I was never really the type of music listener to claim one specific artist as my "favourite". I've always enjoyed music from many different artists of many genres. But that all changed when I discovered Death Grips. At first I didn't enjoy them, but over the course of a few months they really grew on me. I now have no shame in saying it, Death Grips is my favourite band (musician) of all time. This band changed the way I listen to music and made me fall in love with music all over again.
Death Grips were the first band/artist I listened to that I felt a darkly empowering vibe with - something I had gone my whole life without experiencing up until that point, not through any matter of metal or hip-hop. They kinda opened up my musical taste more than anyone else, I think.
Swans
Kendrick Lamar
Radiohead
Godspeed You! Black Emperor
Frank Ocean
Kanye West
Bjork
Tyler, the Creator
Nirvana
Denzel Curry
That's my top 10 probably
Kodawari13 good list
Kodawari13 Swans are my favorite band too :)
Denzel Curry is ridiculously underrated as an artist, there's so many levels to him that go so much deeper than his surface level music
@@thumb_k I feel like he's not underrated anymore, a lot of people think he's one of the best atm
Wtf yes swans, denzel, kendrick and nirvana 😋
Bro, nice modern baseball spot. Did not expect that. But they are very deserving and are up there for me as well.
You have a great taste in music. So diverse.
Your taste is sooo different from mine... And that is why I respect you
I'm happy to see The Beatles, Bob Dylan, The Beach Boys on this list :)
Pretty impressive list.
Your Modern Baseball is my Pigeons Playing Ping Pong, and I can absolutely see a band without the skill, badassery, or even depth being your 2nd favorites of all time.
And I heavily respect you for that.
“I threw on Touch and cried like a baby!” Me too, man. Me too. Love this list. Reminds of a Box interview I saw/heard back in my younger days with my man E-40 when I first found out other Black rappers listen to all types of music for enjoyment.
Oh! And so relatable on this list and loved (and agreed) with many of your reasons why! Totally touched me to walk through this emotional reflection. A little bummed Stevie Wonder isn’t on there, but appreciate the authenticity. Oh, and Jodeci. But man, wish I could split a bottle of whiskey and walk through this list with you. Much respect kid!

Damn, that modern baseball came out of nowhere. Love them so dearly.
This makes me want to listen to more music because I only have like 3 artists that I would put on my list 😩
My personal (childhood) favourites (that are not on the list) include: Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, Big Thief, Guns N’ Roses, PJ Harvey, Bat for Lashes, Rosalia, Kaytranda
Some of my favs I would put in my list:
Korn, Animal Collective, Nas, Cannibal Corpse, Aphex Twin, Boards of Canada, Wu Tang, The Prodigy, Show me the Body, Idles, Enter Shikari, Sepultura
Interesting how some of my S/A tier artists come earlier on your list, kinda triggered me but I had to remember that this is personal

Several of my favorites include:
Michael Jackson
Prince
Buckethead
The BeeGees
Aerosmith
The Beatles
Journey/Steve Perry
Led Zeppelin
AC/DC (Yes I know their songs are kinda repetitive but their live shows are so much fun. And Angus Young is awesome)
The Struts
Modern Baseball being second to best gave me chills. Love them so much.

Respect on the shoutout to Lauryn Hill’s Unplugged
There must be a Spotify playlist !
Here’s some of my favs (I listed 38). I’ve never actually tried to list them before so this should be interesting to see even for myself. In no particular order:
1. Tracy Chapman
2. Foy Vance
3. Pink Floyd (including Gilmour and Water’s solo works)
4. Gary Clark Jr.
5. Angus Stone (including his work under Lady of the Sunshine, DOPE LEMON, and work with his sister, Julia)
6. Led Zeppelin
7. Tash Sultana
8. Neil Young (including his solo work, Buffalo Springfield, Crazy Horse, and contribution to CSNY)
9. The big “3” of 90’s Seattle (AIC may possibly be my fav of all time, Pearl Jam, Soundgarden. I say big 3 bc I didn’t care for nirvana besides the hits)
10. Maynard James Keenan (including A Perfect Circle and Puscifer)
11. Buddy Guy
12. Mother Love Bone
13. Oh Wonder
14. The Eagles
15. Deftones
16. Black Label Society
17. Linkin Park
18. Winston Surfshirt
19. Jerry Cantrell’s solo work
20. Anderson East
21. Chris Cornell (including his solo work, Audioslave, Temple of the Dog)
22. Black Sabbath
23. Zakk Wylde
24. Foo Fighters
25. Fleetwood Mac
26. Godsmack
27. Gov’t Mule
28. Incubus
29. Jack White (including his solo work, The Raconteurs, and The White Stripes)
30. Mad Season
31. Michael Kiwanuka
32. Mild Orange
33. Muddy Waters
34. TOOL (bc it stands on its own as more than the sum of its parts, which is why I didn’t include it with Maynard)
35. RHCP
36. Seether
37. Slipknot
38. Stone Sour
I’m forcing myself to stop there or else I never will. Even 38 is a lot, but at least I took some inventory. There are many more, but I will say no more.
I had no particular order stated, but I do gravitate towards soulful, blues, prog., heavy/hard rock, and psychedelic. So, Tracy Chapman, Buddy Guy, Foy Vance, DOPE LEMON, Tash Sultana, TOOL, Pink Floyd, AIC, BLS, Marilyn Manson (unlisted), Jerry Cantrell, Chris Cornell, Deftones, Gary Clark Jr., Angus Stone, and Led Zeppelin would be among the tippy top of even the 38 (39) above. Sorry for the wall of text, but musics all I got so
You should make a video about Blu. One of the most underrated rappers of all time, I love like 8 (probably soon to be 9, with the new Blu and Exile dropping soon) out of the 40+ albums this man has put out over the years. It is a shame his career never took off like it should have.
Any chance of a video about Radiohead? One of my favourite groups ever and clearly yours too!
