what about the phantom? heard about them but no vids on them im looking between the ck 50 and phantom 50 but also worried about reliability and acceleration because i wouldnt want to hold up traffic because right now i have a yamaha tzr 50 which is quite good on acceleration but wondering if ill be keeping traffic up around town because of acceleration on the ck 50
does changing the front sproket to 12 tooth completly de restrict it, or will i have to do other things to stop the rev limiter. also my speedo is not correct, its shwoing the mph as faster than its actually going, and the odometer seems to be tracking miles to quickly, would love some advice
with any vehicle there is a bit of leeway on the speedo most are out by about 7% my car my van and my bike are all out any more than that i would get it checked out the only way this bike is restricted is the sprocket but also the bike isnt hard restricted to 30 mph going down a hill will make it go faster
Its absolutely not a good choice its shitty build quality and slow, you should buy like a rieju, fantic or beta a 2 stroke europian bike that is very good quality
Honestly to anyone thinking about one of these Yamasaki’s things don’t bother I spent over £2000 on one and it was unusable it was that slow I didn’t understand how badly they actually struggled and as with most Chinese manufacturers it’s quality is completely shite it pretty much blew up on me the bike started getting slower and slower then just shut off all together took it to the garage and was told the engine has pretty much packed in on me after 3 month waited til I was 17 got a Yamaha MT125 and had it seven month and not a problem
so in other words you didn't get its services when it was supposed to be service I'm guessing you got to about 2000 to 3000 miles and it started to slow down and you noticed but did nothing until it died I guarantee the issue with the engine was the valves got too tight and bounced or bent I bet I'm right
I am 22 and think of getting one this
I wouldn't if I were you a 125cc is a better choice if you do have the choice same test same insurance same price more speed and power

If I wanted to change the exhaust on it what mm size will I need to purchase ?
it isn't just about the dimensions it is also about the angles of the exhaust
would a rev and go moped be quicker on acceleration and if so would it be alot faster or similar? thanks
geared bikes are faster moped are better at acceleration
