My biggest question is how tf did you invented this sound. I can't imagine you being "Yo I can burp on purpose, that's sick. What if I add this and this, oof doesn't sound good, but hmmm if I practice this for months this definitely will turn into something, but what if I'll ended up wasting my time for uncertain outcome... Nah that can't be happening. This will definitely gets me to the GBB".
My 8 year old niece taught herself to burp on command and now she does it almost compulsively - it's become a pretty bad habit. I can totally imagine a kid like that experimenting just messing around and being a kid and discovering that when you hold in your burp and try to talk it sounds weird. I can totally confirm the throwing up in your mouth thing, though, it's definitely something to watch out for. I've been getting my niece to cut back on the forced burping because it's begun making her throw up in her mouth. I'm half tempted to show her this video, but I also don't want to reignite the habit.
Dude! This is sick! Very creative to use this idea in beatboxing AND learn how to control it! For those who are struggling to learn this: You know after you eat or so and you get an air bubble trapped in your throat and it makes you talk weird? That is literally what this sound is. It's forcing an air bubble in your throat. Humans were not designed to do this on purpose XD Confirmed: Stitch is not human 0.0
Oh shit, I've been able to do that clicking burp trick since I was a kid and never knew how to explain it until today lol same with inhaling and talking while doing it 😂
Awesone tutorial bro! I really like the way you explain it, you make it fun to listen to and encourage a lot. I think what would be a helpful is a part where you do all the steps very slowly (or as slow as possible) to really show how you do it. Another good thing would be showing some examples of how NOT to do it, like what is the wrong path in practice, what are some mistakes we can possibly make while trying to learn it. Yeah, other than that, awesome video, I came here from Madox analysis of your wildcard submission (that was really cool too! Good job!). I hope to see you more! Peace!
this is one of those sounds i could do but never knew it was a sound... I followed the steps and got that same weird voice i could already do .-. Also I think sounds is heavily dependant on your normal voice, as in the 626 will sound different for everyone just like normal voices. Great tutorial man, ill try spamming it and see if i get anything super cool like your 626
Not related to beatboxing but this is a really good tutorial for learning techniques involving false chords and that’s just in step one. Your false folds are utilized when you burp, cough, and vomit naturally but is used in various extreme vocal techniques such as screaming/harsh vocals in metal and throat singing if you wanna be in the next Dune intro Edit: went on a rent but this is a credit to how good stitch is at vocal control, you could easily learn so much about how to manipulate your own voice just in step 1. So kudos to you Stitch!
I imagine if your able to take the example from step two but rather than feel for the click, feel for how those folds move as you release the burp and try to sustain that while you vocalize a note you’ll be able to unlock some cool commonly available vocal techniques
I was overthinking this the whole time lmao. And funny its called the 626 affect because if you know how to impersonate stitch from lilo and stitch you already got the 626 affect down, but instead of trying to sound like stitch in the false Seto, you do the exact opposite.
Soooo is this what sometimes Happen to me by accident? The voice, that I get, sounds similar, but not as strong and intense as Stitch's, and it does not feel like an air bubble, but like a bubble out of spit, and I don't have to swallow air for it I think, and it only stops, when I swallow (doesn't depend on what I swallow, can also be spit)... this sound is so mysterious, but extremely amazing! Stitch, you can be proud of yourself for being called the human-kazoo by me!!😮😮😮😁😁😁
How surprised would you be if i said i got it in the first 20mins? i was jumping across the room like "NO WAY OMFG"😂 I can do it but not that long so its only a matter of practicing it XDDD
For people who know how to do the 626 effect, the way yourself from burping when making the sound is to swallow the air? or is it different because when Stitch makes the sound I don't see him swallowing air, or making an effort, but the sound comes out the same
So once you got that sweetspot, do you still have to swallow air to make the sound? Or is it just to get a feeling for that sweetspot? Cause when you make the sound you don't look like you are preparing to burp. I'm not sure if air (burp) is coming out while you make the sound or is it just vocalizing while holding this sweetspot without any air? Thanks.
I don't know well, I didn't understand the tutorial well, but I think that when you do the sweet spot thing your throat is a little more open than normal (because you have the air bubble) so at that moment you should vocalize taking the air out of the burp, basically accompanies your voice along with the burp
2 years late, but I have to say: I HATE how I can do this sound randomly here and there, but can’t replicate how I do it AT ALL. I know I can do the sound, I just don’t know how to do it when I want to. XD

666 effect?
I dont need to swallow the air, because I dont know why, but since I as a kid, I can "breath in" my stomach. A good basement to train the 626 effect^^
having good fun trying this im a beginner but id like to learn what i cna and you dont know til you try
