Thanks for the great video! Looks to me like you've been making an effort to streamline and improve your video production, and it shows! Awesome. 😄

Thanks. I switched to Davinci Resolve and I'm using some extra features and plugins in OBS.

Nice work on refurbishing that power supply! While that dead test ROM is very nice, you might have a more direct path to diagnosing the main board by getting a working keyboard attached. With that, you can see whether, for example, BASIC programs are working, which will effectively test a lot of the key memory locations.

I know. **SIGH**. I'm dreading that keyboard.

If you have the ROMUlator for the PET, it can be reprogrammed for the Apple II

That's a fantastic tool. I use mine on both the Apple IIs and Commodore PETs

Have it. Can't program it. Can't seem to get the programming software on the Pi to work.

@@YARC-1981 There is a Wifi board that doesn't require a PI to program

@@KAPTKipper Yeah, I know. I need to order one. I just got so frustrated with trying to do it with the Pi, I kind of gave up. I've also got a PET 2001 I was planning on using the Romulator with, so I need to get it sorted.

Great video! Amazing, I did the same thing, though I wound up buying an external PSU for testing not the PICOATX kit. I'd probably had grabbed that if I'd known about it then. I've got bad RAM too, and though I've figured out the chip, I've yet to be able to source a new compatible RAM chip. Well, there's probably more wrong with it, but this is as far as I've gotten. Will be very interested to see how your repairs progress! Thanks for sharing!
