    Great job. Nice to see the family involved. They will talk about that project for a long time and tell their children about it. The white makes the room look larger and brightens up the room for the children.

    My son has a small, not functional space and this series has given me inspiration! This is definitely a room that your daughter will grow into! Awesome job!!

    room looks very good great job. no side rail on the bunk is kind of scary I would think that one over can never be too careful when it comes to your kids.

    looks great
    that piece of baseboard under the window that "shrunk"...... maybe just use some of the white caulk to mimic the profile and fill in the end section

    • @SSLFamilyDad
      @SSLFamilyDad  7 років тому +1

      That is probably what will happen, not sure I will be happy with the caulked look but it is worth a try before I just replace that piece.

    I would add a side rail or a simple net that will keep you from rolling off when asleep (talk about a rude awakening) but can easily be removed for cleaning and making your bed.

    Caulk is a carpenters best friend You can always cut a litle piece of baseboard to slide in that gap.The room looks great.

      @SSLFamilyDad  7 років тому +1

      Thanks Dan! Yeah, It is satisfying once all of the little imperfections are covered, otherwise that is all I can look at when I go in the room.

    Run the quarter round along all the base. Easiest way to hide the gaps.

    That electrical outlet by the window won't be a trip hazard when in use?

    • @SSLFamilyDad
      @SSLFamilyDad  7 років тому

      It probably will be. I don't expect it to be used to often to be honest since there are five other outlets in this tiny room for some reason but I probably could just cap it off if it is an issue

    • @SSLFamilyDad
      @SSLFamilyDad  7 років тому +1

      At this point that is up for discussion, the teenage daughter does not want one but my younger girls will probably fall off so I may have to put something up anyway........the debate continues this week until I get it completed

      That is one regret you don't want to have. For the general safety of the kids a rail is a non negotiable.

    No offence sir but that ain't a tiny room what my 2 daughters have to share is a tiny room only just fit a 2 toddler sized beds in it with a toddler's cupboard no room for a bunk as door would only open bout 6 inches and a window at the other end room the tiniest window but cant put bed there too unsafe with window opening I'm stuck need helpful ideas that enable me to get both my children safe and have enough room to actually manoeuvre round it's what I would say a closet size room its a nightmare we cant afford to move haha sorry just makes me laugh when people say oh I have a tiny room and its probably about 6 times the size of my 2 childrens. Mine and the wife's room is only three times bigger and that's without any closet space or dresser space
