Boil water, add in gold jewellery, add a little baking soda when the water is boiling, simmer for about 1 minute until the dirt comes out, turn off the flame and soak for 5-10 mins, take some dish washing liquid or any mild soapy solution, use a soft brush to gently rub the jewellery, rinse thoroughly with plain water, dry with clean cloth or tissue paper. Done.
I just tried this with some gold rings I haven't worn in years, and I'm amazed how good this worked. This did a really good job of getting the rings clean and shining again. Thanks
Tried this for my gold grill and worked beautifully, I did mine a bit differently I added boiling water to a bowl filled with aluminum foil and baking soda and like that the tarnish was gone 😁
I just use potatoes. Grind them, and use the mushy uncooked mass to clean the gold, and use a toothbrush. Then rinse, spray some alcohol, and there you go
You should NEVER use boiling water on colored gems.! I noticed some gems that looked like rubies. The har can cause cloudiness in any colored gems which depreciates the value dramatically. It can also cause cracks or breaking from extreme heat. Only diamonds and sapphires should be cleaned in boiling hot water.. ijs...🤷🏼♀️ Great video though.! Thanks so much.!

If your Jewelry is gold plated it will not work. It will only cause those “stains” or “spots” to get worse. 10k gold & up this will leave your jewelry shining like a chandelier.
I have a piece of jewelry from ocelli it’s made or sterling silver and it’s gold colored and it looks as if there is dirt on it and it has a copper/pink color where it has “rusted” nothings has worked so far what should I do (it was 150$ 😬)

This really helped to remove the oxidation from an old golden ring!

Bro needs to update this video to 3 million
Wow my yellow gold just turned to white gold! Amazing
👍
I do this always, if your rings are really dirty leave them to soak for a few hours ( not on the stove top!) Dishwasher powder works really well.
Like fairy liquid ?
I would not use this on jewellery set with pearls. It could ruin them.
It worked perfectly for me, thank you so much!!!

To make it like new you need to polish the jewelry first. But, a simple clean this is a good tip.
Great tip!
Loved your English, please let me know from where did you learn..
from teacher english 😂
She said some sentences wrong........
This makes me miss the flea market
Florida all day
Worked beautifully... thank you ❤️
Thank you for the tip.
Will this be affective on removing Tarnish off Gold plated/Alloy Metel Jewlery by any chance? Nice video btw! 👍👍💯
I would not risk it on anything that wasn't pure gold.. ie minimum 22K. She has mentioned that hers us 22K jewellery.
This method is only suitable for gold jewelry don't use this method in plated or imitation jewelry
thanks for sharing this information
Thank you for sharing this video

👏👏
My jewelry looks like brand new!! 🙏💯
It's gives best result👍🏻💯
💕
Absolutely brilliant 👏....worked really well 👏
I would be so nervous to do this to a boil with my 24k, but she got awesome results!
Why would you be nervous? The melting point of 24k gold is way higher than it'll be boiling them for a minute lol
The melthing point of gold is 2,000 ⁰F, so boiling water shouldn't affect your 24k
Great thank you
Thank you, I will try this.
Will this work will my silver ring that has gold.

Yes. We don't use 10 or 14K gold in India.
Mins 18k so that’s a no go 😭
@@alienfarms7107 you can use this method if it’s real gold
I have a gold chain but it also has like i believe copper and silver I'm not sure exactly but can i still do this method?
@@albert5624 every gold chain has silver or copper in it to make it stronger

I don't think so
