I got an easel but found my shoulder ached to paint at an angle, so I use my cute desk easel to hold my laptop at a more convenient angle. I have yet to travel anywhere but I enjoy using my blinged up travel brush. This was a great vid putting minds at ease so that learning to enjoy watercolour is much more fun.

Always understood that drawings should not be done with hard pencils as there is a danger of depressing the paper. I always use HB

What brush are you using? I like the idea of bronze[-like] handle.

Lots of nice info here, thank you! It's also very, very weird to me to hear a hake brush pronounced like that.

Hah-kay, is how I should have pronounced it right? I'm half Japanese but my English side got the better of me there! Apologies for the anglicising of the hake brush!

@@lisatakahashi8604 No apologies necessary, it just took me by surprise. Thank you again for the amazing information, I'm starting to get more interested in WC after playing with gouache for a bit, and your entire video has been amazing.

    What brush is she using

Hi Derick, thank you for your question - Lisa uses / refers to quite a few brushes within this video, which one in particular are you interested in? It might be easier if you let us know at what point/time in the video you are referring to.
      Many thanks,
      the Jackson's team.
