These make brilliant conversions. We made ours a full house AETR and a Byme-A stab. With the Ailerons in the full angled wingtip and with twin Bugs 2 or 3 Quad motors/ESCs running 3s they are very aerobatic. No motor/prop in the nose to get crunched either - best of all possible worlds! 😉
What was your C of G measurement in mm back from the leading edge beside the fuselage? ... and ... How did you get your ELEVATOR LINKAGE through the guts of the fuselage?
So clean!!
Pretty good. I did similar, I took the bits from the yellow X- 18 2 channel and put on the glider.
Motors came from the white Kmart drone.

Im all ears mate ..... I have a few of these Chuckies ready for a conversion to RC ... any and all info will be appreciated
I think the most interesting thing about this is you bought it at Kmart I thought they were all gone

Cg should be 50 - 55 mm (I go for 53mm)
This didn't pop for me, but it would be cool to do this with the kiddos and teach them some 'engineering' behind it
I used one of these to build a RC slope soarer. One of these will be next.
Parts list to build it? I have the same plane already
Kmart? I didn't know there were any stores left?
Heaps here in Australia
Yeah I know
10$ good
Are you in Australia? If in Sydney you can purchase gliders for $3 each. At bargain warehouse in Warwick Farm
there are small ones for 3 and larger ones for like 7 or 10
Interesting did you mod it with power?
I got the RC glider X-81 for $39
what is the wingspan of that glider?
86cm
Hi
