Well Kelly, that is the definition of friendship right there, watching your friend open 700 skeins of yarn and nodding and oohing and aahing and letting her and her yarn shine:))) That sounded like quite an intense vacation! Can't wait to see what you both knit up with all the amazingness. Btw Ross' filming at Ashford was classic. Noelle wanders off with one skein, Ross just takes over the commentary chill as can be, Noelle returns with an armful, he calmly comments "she's got a stash". I was laughing out loud. Hope you're getting better by the day Noelle & you can dig right into that amazing stash.
Is very rare for NZ to have a cyclone. If you get a morning flight to Auckland and have had a good sleep the night before, you dont notice the 12hr flight as much.
What a beautiful episode. So glad to see smiling faces. Kelly, I am sure you and Noelle will remember this years’ birthday always for different reasons.
this is the first knitting podcast I have watched with a helicopter rescue in the content. thank you for sharing these yarns. I love shopping from Loopine and Skeinz myself.
Thanks so much for taking the time to prepare this video Noelle. And Kelly was such a great commentator! Glad you were taken care of so well Noelle and wishing you well in your recovery. Great yarn haul!! Wow!
Thank you Kelly, Noelle, and Ross for the most lovely trip to NZ on Friday night. I love how gracious and generous you all are. Tuesday night's "Knit Chat Cafe" is the highlight of my week. Wishing both of you much joy in your knitting. I would be thrilled to win a ball of New Zealand yarn. With appreciation, Sarah
Wow what a haul Noelle. So glad that you made it home and are taking care of yourself. Kelly you are a trooper for looking at all that Noelle purchased.
Thank you for sharing your NZ 'trip' and all the yarny goodness. So glad you are alive and on the path to recovery! Looks like a beautiful place to visit with the added awesomeness of gorgeous yarn shops! Knit the world!
Thank you for sharing your adventure with us, Noelle. Glad you are recuperating. Loved your shop visits. I purchased my first Ashford traditional spinning wheel for US$25.00 new from New Zealand back in 1974! Thanks to Ross for his camera work and Kelly for the great editing and adding the rescue video.
God love yah Noelle! You had an adventure of a lifetime! It sure does take time to heal (as you know) and some days will be better than others. Wishing you a speedy recovery and all the best yarny love. 🥰
Loved this episode❤New Zealand is merino heaven! Noelle, you certainly scored with the stash and your excitement is akin to a kid in a candy store! Hopefully the yarn is a great distraction as you heal up. Happy Birthday Kelly 🎉
Welcome home Noelle and great to see you and Kelly together again. Thank you for sharing your New Zealand adventure. Hope you continue to heal. Kelly, thanks for being such a great friend.
We are so happy to have you join us!! Kelly is a great friend, and her technical skills far surpass mine, she did a great job putting this episode together.
Thanks for sharing an amazing journey! Taking us along on your tours of the shops and interviews was so fun and made us feel like we where along on the trip. Beautiful landscapes as well. Thank you Kelly for inserting the videos and hosting this episode - well done!
Wow! What a dream trip!!! Thank you for sharing your adventures to the various yarn stores! And also thankful that your tumble down the embankment turned out well! I know you will enjoy all the beautiful skeins of yarn! It will be fun to see the yarns knit up! What fantastic memories you’ll have as you knit with them. ❤
I'm so glad to hear your healing Noelle. I think yarn souvenirs would be the best you get to play with it and you don't have to dust it. You have a very supportive and understanding hubby Noelle.
Noelle you were like a little girl on Christmas day smiling from one ear to the other. What a great time you had until that accident. My heart dropped when I saw that helicopter. You sure did the reverse bungie jump. Hope your feeling better now because I'm just seeing this now. I loved seeing that Ashford store and Ross was a great camera guy too. Kelly was lucky to see and touch everything too. Thanks for sharing.
What an amazing adventure. Thank you for sharing. 👍 To Ross for great filming skills. I love how he calls the yarn in the store and your arms stash 😅 Hope you at least had a great view in the helicopter. So happy you are on the mend and wishing you a speedy full recovery. Happy Knitting 🤗
Thanks noelle and Kelly,,,,,!! What a great memorable trip,,,,for sure,,, That helicopter,,,!!!amazing,,,, Glad ur ok,,,and healing,,, Lots of yarn to keep u company,,,, Take care,, Elaine💖💖🏡🏡
Hi Noelle and Kelly, another enjoyable podcast! Thanks for sharing. Beautiful trip...Beautiful yarn shops and special yarns! Wishing you a speedy recovery Noelle! Take care. Looking forward to Knit Chat night! 🧶🥰
Such a Beautiful podcast Noelle & Kelly. You both looked amazing in your hand knits and Gorgeous dress on Noelle that Kelly sewed, just stunning! What a haul and so fun you took us along to the stores to have a peek, next best thing to being there. Thank you for all the footage and photos, it looked absolutely wonderful. A trip you won't soon forget. So glad you are on the mend Noelle. Will look forward to seeing what you end up knitting with all that fabulous yarn. So fun!!! 🤗
So Thankful for both of you ladies! Your podcasts are so.informative, interesting, ...& well just great in everyway! Thank you too for your generosity in spirit & with the gorgeous yarn!!🥰💕🧶🧶
Thank you for sharing your adventures and yarny goodness from New Zealand! Glad you are on the mend, Noelle! Always wanted to go to New Zealand, but might not be able to go after my unfortunate accident that required surgery a few years ago. Glad that you and Ross filmed some lovely yarn stores for us to admire! Take it easy, enjoy the lovely yarn, and happy knitting! ❤❤
wow, ladies. thank you for sharing the NZ trip so well, from all the beautiful yarn to the chopper-not bungee incident. That was scary indeed Noelle, and for you too Kelly waiting on the other side of the world . I'm glad you are healing and am looking forward to seeing what you both will be knitting up with the NZ stash!
Noelle, glad to see you on the mend. That trip is one of my dream vacations. Beautiful yarn you’ve collected. Can’t wait to see your finished projects. Love watching you ladies
Thanks for another amazing episode! Loved seeing all the yarn shops and yarney friends down under. I'm so glad that your injuries weren't too great, and that you can still knit!
I just love watching your podcasts! Always great information and your friendship is endearing. Thank you both! Continue to heal, Nicole. I love your enthusiasm for yarn.
Always a pleasure watching you ladies. Noelle your yarn haul is unsurpassed. Pink is my favourite colour too so seeing the pinks you bought were a thrill. New Zealand looks like an amazing country and the yarn shops and owners were wonderful to watch. I’m sorry for your injuries and hopefully time will heal them. Thanks for sharing your adventure with us.
Thank you for sharing your trip with us. Kelly let’s get that raft going 😮we’ve got to get to New Zealand too. It is a trip of a lifetime to visit beautiful NZ and so many yarn shops. Best wishes for a Speedy recovery Noel. Kelly we want to see your yarn gifts.
I don’t think you should ever apologize for buying yarn. I enjoyed all the yarn you kept pulling out and I was oohing and aawing right along with Kelly. Can’t wait to see what you need up with all that luscious yarn as you recover.
How wonderful an experience going to New Zealand was for you Noelle, Including "the incident". Lovely to see yarn from the area. Enjoyed your hubby's commentary. Great memories. Thank you so much for sharing. Take Care!
Wonderful travel review! Thanks Noelle and Kelly 😁 Absolutely nothing to be ashamed of! All amazing souvenirs and wonderful sharing of the yarn stores and lovely ladies of the shops and knitters!
What wonderful viewing! Absolutely no apologies needed Noelle when it comes to yarn of the “motherload” proportion. Invaluable Ross was the most versatile cameraman/presenter ever: yarn shop tour with appropriate commentary, and reporting live in the wilderness. Glad you’re home safe now and boy what memories hey!!!
Great podcast ladies. Love your cowl Noelle. What a adventure. If I was to win I would love to incorporate the yarn I the shift cowl your wearing. Happy knitting
I agree with you re the gifting that will happen because you bought all the yarn. Everyone gets pleasure from it and for you, way more fun to create with the yarn than handing them some token remembrance of your trip. And, they will become heirlooms so the memories will live on 😊 I love that idea and with your permission, will happily steal it from you. Glad you’re recovering, albeit slowly. Slow and steady wins the race.
Happy you made it back safe and sound, but I have a feeling life with Noelle is always an adventure. And what a lovely man Ross is. Great podcast Ladies.
As a knitter from New Zealand, I loved this episode! I am from Auckland and last year my husband and I travelled in the Sth Island and we also drove right past Ashfords so I just had to stop and go in. And we also walked the Hooker Valley track. I didn’t fall there but I had done so five days earlier so my ankle was very sore and swollen and I dosed up on painkillers before and after the walk. A few days after that we arrived in Christchurch so I got my ankle x rayed and discovered I had walked the 10km return track with a fractured ankle! As I was the driver, it meant we had to find a place to stay for two weeks before I could fly home. While my husband went out exploring I really enjoyed just sitting and knitting!
Wow Jeannie, I can’t believe you walked the trail with a fractured ankle, I can totally relate to the sitting and knitting while everyone else is exploring, thank goodness for knittting. I hope to be able to return to NZ and finish exploring your beautiful country
This was an interesting and fun video. Noelle got such beautiful yarn and it would be fun visiting the yarn stores. Glad you are recovering from the terrible fall and take your time sitting and knitting. Kelly is so good at the editing! Its so nice to be feeling all those skeins. I bet the alpaca is so soft. Thanks ladies. I always try to watch on Tues evening, but its my gym night too.
A most enjoyable podcast! This episode brought back many memories. New Zealand has been on my radar since the sixties. As a teenager I would often stay with my Granny and I would read her Woman’s Weekly magazines that had stories of New Zealand and Australia. I haven’t been but one never knows. Thank you☘️😀
Thank you for sharing your adventure with us and taking the time to share yarn with your viewers. So happy you didn't injure any body parts you need to knit. You were lucky to have survived such a fall.
Noelle I enjoyed sharing your trip with you. Love all of the yarn shops you visited. Thanks for thinking of your viewers during your trip to New Zealand.
Noelle, I really enjoyed your adventure to New Zealand. I have been there twice and relived the places you went to. I live in Brampton, Ontario where I enjoy knitting and crochet. You both have a fun relationship. Thank you for your channel.
Good afternoon ladies, I'm watching you while catching up on my house work and it definitely makes it more bearable in your lovely company! Noëlle, only another knitter can really appreciate the pleasure and enthusiasm behind a yarn haul, a yarn store visit, a bag of alpaca fiber...thank you Kelly, you are a true friend and the ying to Noëlle's yang. As a former Canadian Forces member, I've rappelled down from a helicopter, but I was never winched up...must have been a total thrill! It is also easier to laugh about the funny side of your adventure because I can see that you are okay and that you made it back home safe and sound, although a little bit cracked here and there. For someone as high energy as you are, the hardest thing must be to take it easy and give it time to heal. I almost wet myself laughing when Kelly mentionned that it was a good thing you didn't break your wrist because nobody would want to live with you in a cast and that they would have had to pass you around while you recuperated. I had this image of a Noëlle with knitting withdrawl and it was priceless ! Not something we wish to see....for any knitter. Well, the washing machine dinged! I have some more chores to do. Be sure that you will be with me (I had to miss this week's knit night café and will be watching it later) and making everything better. See you soon !
🎉What a wonderful episode! Loved all the yarn. New Zealand is on my bucket list now. I’m glad to hear your tumble adventure wasn’t any worse and you are on the mend! ❤
Really enjoyed hearing about all of your adventures around New Zealand and the yarn stores. What a great holiday. Glad you are ok and healing day by day.
Thanks for the wonderful stories, colorful footage of the trips, beautiful yarns, and very pleasant company for my own little knitting projects. I have only been back to knitting for a couple of weeks, since my late teens (over 3 decades ago). And I am finding out the knitting community is such a lovely place to spend time with! I wish Noelle all the best recovering and staying patient for the body to do it's work. And Kelly thank you for the wonderful editing work. And to both of you, it's so nice to watch your complementary demeaners that blend so well in your friendship. Anca, from the Netherlands
Ahh thanks so much Anca, I’m so glad you are returning to knitting and you are right this community is amazing, it’s nice to know that you can go anywhere in the world and know that you can meet people with the same interests as you 💕
Noelle, you're going to LOVE spinning the alpaca. That was something I spun very early on in my spinning journey and I think it might still be my favourite thing to spin.
Such an exciting adventure! I loved seeing the pictures of beautiful New Zealand, which is now on my wishlist, and I loved seeing all the yarny goodness. I also have a 32" Ashford loom, so I would have to stop there, too. I'm glad that you're healing well from your tumble. Thanks for sharing your trip with us.
Love this! Noelle, so happy you are recovering from your accident. Take it slow, take it slow! Was so nice to get a tour of New Zealand yarn and shops right from my very own comfy chair...no 12 hour air flight necessary!
Your trip looked wonderful. I am glad they have such excellent helicopter services, and that you were not seriously injured. My 91 yr old father just fought his way back to good health from a broken pelvis. It was a brutal painful break, and I am so glad you didn't have to experience it. Your yarns are gorgeous. Yarn is the perfect 'souvenir'. You remember buying it, and it brings many joyous hours of knitting along with it.
The trip was amazing Sheryl, I am looking forward to knitting my souvenirs. I hope that your father is doing well, I can’t imagine the pain from a broken pelvis.
@@KnitsnPieces Let the knitting begin! The planning is as much fun as the actual knitting. Thank you for your concerns for my father. He never ceases to amaze me. He is 91. He went from the break and excruciating pain to pain free and very ambulatory in 2 months. He is doing well. I hope all is well in your world, and you are feeling much better, also.
Wow.....what a great adventure. So much yarny goodness. I totally agree with laying it out for awhile for inspiration and admiration. Thank you for sharing all of the deets.
Great episode ladies. That was quite the yarn adventure. Thank you for sharing your travels (and yarn haul) with us! Loved the photo montage at the end of the beautiful scenery and your family. Continued healing!
My husband and I visited New Zealand in October last year , after an aborted attempt in 2020 and then the lock down. Our experience was the mirror image of Noelle’s, we spent 10 days on the South Island and when we got to the north island we both contracted Covid. Spent our whole time in the north island, in a hotel room in Rotorua. We need to go back to see the north and go to Fiji! I’m
What a beautiful trip (minus the fall), all of the yarny places are absolutely lovely! I definitely want to go myself now, but who knows. Thank you for taking us with you! Speedy recovery 🥰
Oh my goodness what a great haul Noelle! I am so happy that your injuries werent more serious. To endure the helicopter lift must have been an incident all on its own. I hope your healing continues and you are able to get back to your old norm. I would love to see you and Kelly in New Zealand shopping...lol.
Hi Kelly and Noelle, thank you for the great podcast! Sorry you were hurt on your trip! Glad you are feeling better! Loved hearing about the trip! Have a great week!
TU Nicole for sharing ur wonderful trip, sounds like u have a great husband touring the Yarn Shops. All ur buys are just beautiful & I loved the yarn shop tours. Take care.
Thank you for sharing your adventure and yarn haul with us. ❤. So glad you are on the mend. Looking forward to seeing projects from your acquisitions. Your projects are inspiring.

Hope you're getting better by the day Noelle & you can dig right into that amazing stash.
Such an apt comment you made about the definition of friendship!
When we went to New Zealand, we spent 5 weeks there during their winter. The stars were so close you could almost touch them
Is very rare for NZ to have a cyclone. If you get a morning flight to Auckland and have had a good sleep the night before, you dont notice the 12hr flight as much.
What a beautiful episode. So glad to see smiling faces. Kelly, I am sure you and Noelle will remember this years’ birthday always for different reasons.
Ahh thanks Neelie 💕

You’re welcome Maria, I love the Ashford products especially my e spinner, how knows maybe I’ll graduate to a manual wheel
You two are the sweetest! I adore your friendship. Noelle- you're such a dynamo with the most positive attitude. So refreshing!
Thank you so much!! Loved chatting with you!
God love yah Noelle! You had an adventure of a lifetime! It sure does take time to heal (as you know) and some days will be better than others. Wishing you a speedy recovery and all the best yarny love. 🥰

Ahh Isabelle it is always a pleasure to hear from you, Kelly and I are so looking forward to meeting you in Montreal 💕
Wow what an adventure Noelle had. Thanks for sharing your trip recap with us. New Zealand is on the top of my travel wish list.
Dear Noelle and Kelly I toggled between a map of New Zealand and your video so very much enjoyed!! A super big thanks for sharing your adventure ❤

Thanks for sharing your more than adventurous trip with us. Love the yarn you brought back home
I feel like I went on your New Zealand adventure "virtually " Nicole. Get healed soon. Love both of you gals.
Love this! Noelle, so happy you are recovering from your accident. Take it slow, take it slow! Was so nice to get a tour of New Zealand yarn and shops right from my very own comfy chair...no 12 hour air flight necessary!
Thanks Carol, the travel on the way there was actually better than expected, the way home however was a bit of a slog 😂
Thanks for sharing your amazing trip with all of us, and hope you're recovering is going well.
Thankyou for sharing your yarny adventure. I’m glad you got home safely. New Zealand is beautiful.
What a great recap of the yarny part of your trip Noelle. Thanks for sharing. I hope you continue to feel better after your fall.
Thank you for your yarn adventures Noelle and so pleased that you are healing well
Thanks Pamela, I am feeling much better
Wow.....what a great adventure. So much yarny goodness. I totally agree with laying it out for awhile for inspiration and admiration. Thank you for sharing all of the deets.
Lynn, I finally had to move it all off the dining room table 😂
Loved hearing about the adventure and seeing all the beautiful yarn. So glad you are ok Noelle. Your husband is definitely a keeper 👍
I agree Lue, my husband is very supportive

What an adventure and an ordeal! So glad you're okay. Noel! Thanks for sharing.
