Sweet video! I noticed you did not flash your transmission tune :) They have a separate trans tune specifically for e85 as well, better shift points :)
It usually a good idea to relieve fuel pressure in the fuel system when disconnecting any lines, you can just take out the relay and start it and let it run until it dies. It's also possible Audi has a specific procedure for doing this, but most cars I've seen use the relay.
I run E85 only on my 800hp GT. I go to the same pump and it's 77%-82% always. The higher the content the more power my car makes. I did by Ignite E90 ($10G) and the boost gauge saw 17psi on a 12psi pulley. I was scared that it pulled that hard. If you have an E85 tune, the ethanol content is extremely important.
I put the high-pressure fuel pump in mine. I'm stage two, but I never ran the stage 2+ file. I figured I would just have more headroom for safety. I want to try the stage 2+ file after watching this.
Really enjoy your videos, I did notice you ran your power wire straight to 12 V, and no inline fuse? Won’t that leave power on the sensor all the time, and drain your battery?
Heads up for ya, main reason you were stuck at E70 or so is likely because your tank wasn’t empty. Noticed you only pumped 12.9 gallons, tank holds 15.3, your lower than desired E content is almost surely due to the 91 that was still in that tank.
How would upgrades impact the car without doing any tunes? Video on that would be sweet. Mk7 gti for example

If you are running an E85 tune why does the sensor only read up to E70? I am a noob when it comes to ethanol and I would like to mix E10 in my B58 since here in Mexico we do not have that gasoline.
I haven’t talked to those other companies in person. I have had a great relationship withthe 034 guys for a long time and we have conversations once a year at SEMA and they overall just have my trust. I understand how they work and they have a great company culture from my perspective. There’s always multiple ways of doing things, but to a certain extent, there is only a right way of doing things and I am confident in what they do so I feel comfortable recommending the products to people like yourself and others watching the channel.
+1 on 034. I’ve had their tunes on 4 different cars now and never experienced an issue. They also have phenomenal chili (IFYKYK). They also make some incredibly engineered physical parts that fit like factory.
I understand the E85 sensors is wireless and connect to your phone and tell you the ethanol content. You just run power and ground to the sensor. But how the sensor is connected to the ECU ?
It’s not connected to the ECU. The responsibility of that sensor is to solely give you confidence to what fuel is at the injectors of your motor. If it was connected to the ECU that would be a true flex fuel system and then it could on the fly adjust timing and other tables to adhere to the fuel octane for you so you don’t have to switch maps. But this is still a system where if you switch from E85 to 91/93 Octane Maps Does this answer your question?
@@CameronAlford ok if i understanding correctly : you put ethanol on the tank, you read the coontent with the sensor with your phone and when the content is good you flash the E85 tune and enjoy. Now if you fill up witn 91 you just reflah back the tune to 91 octane tune. Is that correct ?
Just an FYI, you shouldn't really be driving around running E60 on a 91 file. You run the risk of running lean AFR and potentially causing cylinder wear. E60 is high enough that you need more fuel than what the 91 file is injecting. You are right about now mashing the gas, that would most likely cause damage but I can hear your still accelerating decently enough to run boost which means your engine is experiencing load and most likely not injecting enough fuel. Since you didn't drive that much, I'm sure you are ok but people need to know that this is potentially dangerous to do. Most individuals moving to E85 typically get their tank super empty and then idle until the ethanol content is high enough to flash the tune. TLDR: Don't drive your car around when transitioning to E85. Ideal situation is just letting your car idle until the Ethanol content is high enough to tune.

Was gonna say the same thing💯
youre so right. Thats my mistake I didnt even realize that was a thing. Noted for
the future!
@@CameronAlford Massive difference on my rs3 too. Should enjoy it on the S4.
The TCU tune definitely makes a difference. I just ran a 3.2 0-60 with my e85 stage 1 B9.5 S4. But it has a stage 2 TCU flash from 034.
What fuel line size did you need? 5/16”?
Keep an eye on that 90 deg fitting. Mine failed after awhile and had fuel spraying out during a drive which was scary AF.

Dude learned a lot from, you wish I was closer, have a narly TTRS if let you roll for sure.❤
Have to appreciate leaving the mishaps in the final edit.
This is what working on your ride is ACTUALLY like. Haha!
I’m excited for that exhaust 😮
Love this project 🔥🔥

Nice upgrade !! When for the downpipe ???
W video bro much love

Good video as always
Best place in the valley to get E85 👍

that's good E I've got shitty stuff e75 and I had an almost empty tank of gas and I filled up and barely got up to 60
Man I wish I was brave enough to pull that fuel pump apart 😆 I'll just pay my shop for that!

What was your main reason for choosing 034 over IE or Jackal as far as your tune is concerned?
Not hating, just wondering what influenced your route.

Also what was your build date ? And production date? Year and month on the car man.. mines 10/18
you can def get better than a 3.73 I know ppl who have gotten up to 3.3 on stage 1 e85
I know you took the RS3 build much further than the current S4, but in your opinion how does the S4 compare to the RS3?
What paddle shifters are those?
you dont need bigger injectors for e85?
Thank you for sharing those links. Absolutely buying off Amazon for my rs5 now 🤝

Will you be doing another muscle car anytime soon?? 👀
Where can I buy the shirt you’re wearing?
