- This tutorial is the first in a four part video series with the flamenco guitarist Samuel Moore. In it you can explore different ways to vary your compás playing in the context of the flamenco palo Soleá.

This is exactly what I have been looking for. I really don't care for being taught how to play a specific falseta. As a beginner the most important things are to feel flamenco, learn basic compas and chord progressions, then feel compas as a living and breathing entity that tells a story expressed in harmony and rhythm divided into small chapters that is the full compas. Then when you begin to understand the conventions (structure) of spinning tales in this language using the most basic grammar, and you don't need to think about where the subject, object and verb go, you're going to want to add words and phrases to your vocabulary and learn variations of expressions to immerse yourself more into the language. This video is teaching the right things to sensibly work towards fluency.

I'm currently preparing to record Series 2 and on a similar note, a new tutorial video on Tangos is about to be released this coming Friday, so keep an eye out for that :-) Regarding my guitar, it was made for me by a superb luthier in the UK called Kevin Richards. Unfortunately Kevin died last year following along battle with cancer, but his legacy lives on through the amazing guitars he made during his life. Second hand Kevin Richards guitars sometimes come up on ebay, so keep an eye out as they tend to be very reasonably priced as, despite the quality of his craftsmanship, Kevin was not a famous luthier, he was just great and known by a select number of players who really valued his skill! What is a Christian flamenco guitar course?

@@brin57 None often, but I'm a bishop so it would be for all of my ministries and churches so we, of course, give first preference to someone who doesn't reject our FATHER and Savior.
