So many comments about empty seats. Those seats were way off to the side of the stage where no one wants to sit. And the lighting. It was friggin' daylight for goodness sakes. And Hayley is interested in the audience enough to perform to those people off to the sides in the less expensive seats as well as the huge crowd in front.
Williams and Swift may be friends, but Paramore and Taylor Swift fanbases dont overlap that well. More swifties would probably be there, if the opening act was Sabrina Carpenter or Gracie Abrams. Then again the stadium has concert capacity of 70k - despite those empty seats lots of people were there and enjoying Paramore.
This is one of those times that the so called warm up act is just as good (if not better) than the main attraction! I'm old school and the TS machine is so much hype!
I saw My Mornong Jacket open for Pearl Jam 20 years ago and the crowd was borderline hostile to get them off stage (I thought they killed it.) They blew up in less than 2 years after that. You never know who you'll see, but man, missing Paramore like this would just be dumb.
I feel really bad when I see Paramore performing and the lights are on with empty seats… It just emphasizes the fact that they’re the opening act… At least Paramore turns off the lights for their opening acts
