West side best side. Jurong East MRT station area is filled with so many different malls that cater to different cuisines, races, all walks of life. It's near the biggest outlet mall in Singapore - IMM. That area itself has so many different brands of bubble tea that caters to youngsters and any bubble tea lovers. When I dont feel like going to Orchard, I just go to Jurong East cos it's good enough :D
I honesty like the west idk cos .. and east got like the thinggies andtampines mall got alot west got like idk brid park or smth and the surfing in east
if i could, I'll rlly wanna work for The Smart Local one day. not for anything, but because their content really just makes me happy and i get to know new stuff through them. I really like their diverse content. Thank u TSL❤❤
to be honest i live in west. i used to think west is best cause go town for my case is easy. but ever since i go east hang out, i realise east more cafes, more laid back and more parks.

east side!!! the neighbourhoods have so many hidden gems, and CONVENIENCE!!!! downtown line makes commuting so much more convenient & not to mention its so much cooler here. jurong side too hot and humid i buay tahan LOL
West Side have 4 malls side by side, Jem,Jcube,Westgate and IMM. We even have Ikea in 1 of the mall. WEST SIDE BEST SIDE.
well tampines (rep for east) also got 4, OTH, Tampines Mall, Tampines One, Century Square. In fact we also have Ikea, Courts and Giant
but west damn far from central and all the activity lol

West side we have Jurong Bird Park ,Science Centre,Jurong Lake Garden, Singapore Discovery Centre, Jurong Central Park and with Mcdonald's inside it, Jurong Eco Garden, Snow City Jurong, Jurong Hill , Super Bowl Jurong,Johor Straits Lighthouse near Raffles Marina Club at tuas,Bukit Batok Nature Park, Clementi Forest, hidden Dover Forest West, Bukit Timah forest,Bukit Timah Hill,Former Ford factory and many more

east has more food options and exciting activities, west feels more laidback with more nature places. aiya everyone loves their home the best, for me a westie, 15min drive to jb is the best offpeak precovid 🤣
West is the best cause there many stuff to do such as going to west coast park and Jurong lake garden.there also Jurong east and the 3 storey taman Jurong hawker centre.also got malls with branded✨and airport doesn't count cause it for tourist
East side has a ton of pottery studios, real coconut to drink at East Coast park and I’m pretty sure we got figurine shops here too
If we're flexing About HDB, my house in the east side has ah gongs and they decorate the void deck, its honestly very pretty when they decorate for specific holidays. (No its not like a CC initiated thing btw, at least i don't think)
Btw, the story line abit wrong lah, in the start, impression is the two host find the place, but throughout the video, become the producers choose and bring the host. Small details only lah
Honestly East side is the best side. Coz right east got more exciting activities and places to go then west ... west abit more onto the nature side and art side .... so for the more exciting looking people to visit new exciting places .... east is the way ..... :))

Hey guys Don't forget Fair Price Hub Mall in Joo Koon near MRT also located at west side further than jurong west 😂. Inside they have one of the biggest Decathlon in Singapore
And also Bukit Batok ,and Clementi 😂

I have stayed in both east and west. I got to say east side is way better! No doubt
now Jurong Lake District has a skate and parkour park too... 😊
We can see which side is best - even foreigners (from the skate shop) who likely have no prior childhood experience of living in Singapore objectively concluded the east is the best side.

Why the comparison between east and west? I stay in the east but my dream home is in central.
Near outskirts of city, accessible and not far to anywhere, near to The Central catchment area (best nature in SG), damn lots of good food (Chinatown, Tanjong Pagar, etc, etc, etc, etc, so many!). Got night life, got day life, what you want can find.
Only cons, expensive 💸💸
