Damn Finally some *Behemoth* This is my Top 5 Metal Bands of all Time, & boy this Song is 1 of the Fan Favorites 🖤 Should've Showed him the Music Video lol.
Nergal is genius songwriter. Unique structure, drumparts, guitar, overall very unique style i have never heard in other bands. Drums play great role in orchestrating algon whole tunes, not only double bass medley. Older albums have some very intresting diverse and rich songs. New stuff is more mass oriented but still have this unque behemoth vibe.
I grew up as a child within classic music (both parents are musicians) and "developed" myself over decades. NOw I can enjoy and appreciate that kind of music. Maybe you should check Rick Wakeman's "The Prisoner" from "No earthly connection". This is where you can already hear epic heavy music. At least for beginners.
The entire album was great! Good pick. If you guys explore more of the euro bands, I personally like Bloodbath. Check out Hades Rising by them. Any of the stuff from the Mikael Åkerfeldt era (vocalist of Opeth)
Did y’all listen to snake net metal radio in the early 2000’s? That’s how I was introduced to so many bands, behemoth included. Great video. Speaking of epicus, have y’all done any candle mass, they have a great album called epicus doomicus metallicus.
I wonder how many labels are on Judson's radar now. He's in the deep end. Also, one of the MIRAR guys is Norwegian. Day 39 of requesting Diablo Swing Orchestra.
Hey Richard, I recommend you checking out a band that emerged after the split of Batushka-Patriarkh and their new album Prophet Ilja. It’s a very interesting mix of slavic folk instruments with black metal, creating a unique church-like black metal atmosphere. The album also has a fascinating historical concept. I highly recommend giving it a listen.
Behemoth are a great band! Glad you finally covered these guys! Nergal is definitely one of a kind! This song is a great entry point to learn about Behemoth. I hope you dig a little deeper with their music and cover some more by them. They have some great music!
Can you please make Judson listen to "Ora Pro Nobis Lucifer" from the album "The Satanist", which is in my humble opinion a perfect song from start to finish. I fell in love with Behemoth thank to this song :)
Gotta be honest, don't feel like you need to explain about the album/ artist right after the reaction. Takes a lot of the excitement out of the videos, I'd like to see Judson get to just explain his thoughts right after hearing the song. No offence meant, just some feedback.
Maybe you would try some new Patriarkh if you like Batushka because its kind of the same band and they dropped new concept album this month - Prophet Ilja
When it comes to the message of satanism you have different takes on it, it's kinda like different versions of protestantism. The sect that you mention which focuses on the glorification of self follows the teachings of Anton LaVey (that's the guy behind the Satanic Bible and the Church of Satan). Mainly satanists can be divided between those who believe that Satan exists and that worship him as a rebel against God and you got the ones that don't believe in Satan himself but accept many tenants of the whole movement (I'm not a satanist myself, just studied it years ago back in Uni).
This is peak Behemoth for me, from back when they were at their best. 🤘Post 'The Satanist' Behemoth does nothing for me, alas.. 🤷 And I agree: Inferno is the MVP on this song; amazing drummer.. 👌
This is why I like the music in general, and especially black metal. I like the energy and questions or dogmas imposed. As an Orthodox Christian by tradition, from Old Europe, non-convertite, where religion wasn't imposed, but adopted and mixed with paganism. I don't really mind satanism in lyrics, it is often a vent for frustrations, and without minuses there would be no pluses, so we have a flow. Btw, Баћушка/batushka is a Russian term for "bro", and you can refer like that to anyone who is a family or dear to you, it has nothing to do with French.
summer 2010 - K.C. ampitheatre. rockstar mayhem festival. side stage ready for behemoth to play. cannilbal corpse starts on the next stage...quick look at the line-up and just missed them they had just finished. the members of cannibal corpse was watching me as they played. they smiled and nodded there heads cause they seen my dismay while standing at the back of the crowd. had already seen corpse back in early 90s at mosh manor in witchita, obituary headlined.
O Richard O Judson O Measures!
Lol that's top tier comment right there
Waiting Patiently for *"O Father O Satan O Sun"* 🖤
Behemoth are absolute beasts... these guys absolutely destroy live too
Yess bring O Father O Satan O Sun next
As much as I love Behemoth’s transformation after this record, the Demigod, Apostasy and Evangelion run was just soooo good
Unbeaten
to each their own, but for me, Pandemonic Incantations is their only good album
Damn Finally some *Behemoth*

Very good songchoice out of Behemoth´s extensive catalogue!
Finally some Behemoth! :)
Oh hell yeah, I love this song ✊
Another song I like is Decade ov Therion

It seems that Richard doesn't like to be interrupted, and Judson likes that, so he does it 😂
FINALLY! Now we're talking!
Cheers from Poland🤘🤘🤘
Such a classic. Great, that you showed it to him!
Music is subjective, but Behemoth videos are not. Simply the coolest metal videos ever made.
Batushka - Песнь 2 (Pianist continues his exploration of heavy metal)
Yes, guys! Instant click 🖤🤘🔥
I ve meet those guys. They are funny af, really nice ppls. Great concerts

The riff at 3:46 is a slightly faster version of the quiet riff halfway through Devin Townsends Deadhead.
Did anyone else discover this song through Tap Tap? Introduced me to Behemoth and enjoyed them ever since.
I'm from Brazil 🇧🇷, i watch This Channel ever.
Thanks for hanging out with us!
All hail Behemoth ! 🤘
Interesting discussion. Greetings from Poland!
Inferno is a beast of a drummer
i would have liked for Judson to listen to the left hand ov god
or as above so below
arcana herticae have some insane drum parts
Mastodon - The Czar for something epic
At some point if you havent already show him the video for this song its so good
In my best Michael Jackson voice
" Be HE HE moth "
The entire album was great! Good pick. If you guys explore more of the euro bands, I personally like Bloodbath. Check out Hades Rising by them. Any of the stuff from the
Mikael Åkerfeldt era (vocalist of Opeth)
Badass riffage
Behemoth's best song is "Kaka Demona" (Demon Kaka)😂 Thanks to it they became famous on the Polish Internet and made a lot of moooneeey🤑😁
Bout time! Time to show him a music video at some point
Behemoth! Yes!
Now do My Dying Bride “Cry of Mankind”
The discussion on this one is great.
I am also thinking of all the wrong ways to pronounce Behemoth.
Kick ass song too.
You should check Obscure Sphinx from Poland as well ;)

They have
@@Eirathok, never mind lol, I even commented on it, wow, less 4 2 0 for me haha
@@ajgsxr Too many reaction videos out there. Hard to keep track of em all 😆

Day 39 of requesting Diablo Swing Orchestra.

DARK FUNERAL - Unchain My Soul PLEASE!!!!

Good choice if you want to listen to a thief. Just go listen to the original - Batushka.

ben sahar
Once again; Ulcerate - The Destroyers of All or Dissolved Orders
kanonenfieber PLEASE!!!!
Yeah Kanonenfieber is a blast
i couldn't click on this video fast enough!
O Father O Satan O Sun or Ora Pro Nobis Lucifer next please 🥰
another good Behemoth song would also be Conquer All
I think the best entry point! If Behemoth, listening to the classic songs is the best in my opinion.
I'm with Judson on the non-binary perspective, in everything. It feels better living in more than just two dimensions for me 🙏🏻
Philosophical Satanism, challenging and debating the adversary to see from another perspective. Great view from Judson. A good conversation...
Can you please make Judson listen to "Ora Pro Nobis Lucifer" from the album "The Satanist", which is in my humble opinion a perfect song from start to finish. I fell in love with Behemoth thank to this song :)
Spheres of Madness by Decapitated

Matter of personal taste, I like this format
Ora Pro Nobis Lucifer, At the left hand ov god or The Satanist for next would be great
J reminded me of ALIEN SEX FIEND ~ I Walk The Line
As a form of art I like to think of death/black metal to be more akin to horror films
Maybe you would try some new Patriarkh if you like Batushka because its kind of the same band and they dropped new concept album this month - Prophet Ilja

Why don't you play him some Satanic Warmaster or Sargeist or Horna. Some good stuff.

The main riff sounds like Led Zeppelin's "Kashmir"...
Oh C'mon, this Riff is way Darker.
Without the ascending chords I don’t get the similar vibe.
Hope you show Blow your trumpets gabriel or something else from The Satanist, their magnum opus imho
Satan.
Over Half of Behemoth's songs sound the same album after album.. Plagiarizing themselves is the epitome of laziness and desperation
They do have Riffs which sound quite Similar, but they got a lot of Unique, Fresh Ones as well.
Then don't listen. Simple enough.
Your name must be Jon Snow...
Naaaa...not my taste of music. I personaly dont like Blackmetal. It alwasy has something very annoying. Dont know.
you should do a Bolt Thrower track
