These railings are advertised as being easy to install, but they are not. I am an experienced do it your self person and even worked in a metal shop for a while during my college years. There isn't much room for error on your cuts unless you a gap. Would be better if there was a decorative collar so alignment did not have to be so perfect. The posts and rails are good quality, but the base caps are plastic. The top and bottom caps, called snaps, are very hit and miss when trying to get them to actually snap into place. They look pretty when done, but if I had to choose again, it would not be this product.
What the maximum amount of space I should have between 2 posts?... Is it ok to have an 8' length between 2 posts, or should I place a post in between at the 4' mark?
Why do you not explain rail layout and proper spaces. Why do you not tell how to cut in 64ths of a inch. Or 32nds of a inch. Their is no room for error here at all.
