- Rolling Stone held its first Morning Sessions during ACL Fest 2018 on Saturday, October 6th, at Wanderlust Yoga in Austin. Glasgow synth-pop trio Chvrches stopped by to chat with Rolling Stone’s Suzy Exposito about the making of their latest album, Love Is Dead, with acclaimed producer Greg Kurstin. The band also discussed their favorite rock stars, living in Donald Trump’s America and the resulting culture shocks.

I love how they articulate and carry themselves on and off the stage
I love how half this interview is just them taking the piss out of Morrissey. Love these guys 😂
this is the funniest lauren interview i've ever seen and i'm IN
Best CHVRCHES interview EVER!!!
CHVRCHES, great mood, Lauren even laughs, SUPER. I like you very much! ☺✌💖Nice that you are fine!
This interview is amazing. Comedians and answering questions. 😁😄
Wow lol Lauren just on one that night.. hillarious
love is alive
Ian is low key hot...
Lauren is too cute. They're a good trio.
It really is a mystery that she is single. 🤷♂️
I used to be like that with movies / things that are supposed to be important in my life
We learned nothing. And everything. Accurate.
she's so damn cute 😩
wow, they got a Yamaha CS80 in the studio but what do they do live (the CS80 is a 9kg / 19 lbs Monster.
Cool to see that Chvrches are Metallica fans!
Lauren not much, she knows only two songs apparently
15m4s if you want to see Lauren inadvertently destroy Exposito, and Exposito die inside. Suzy's done enough fantastic work that she shouldn't feel bad - but sometimes interviews go off the rails.
I don't know. I'm not normally the type of person to watch interviews, but I found this incredibly entertaining. Personally, I'm not really watching these interviews to have factual questions answered, it's more about getting to know the artists I enjoy. She did a good job of allowing them to be open and vulnerable, even if that wasn't her intention. They felt comfortable sharing, which is awesome to watch
thankfully, the band can carry through conversation and be entertaining at the same time...not sure they needed the interviewer there...she's just holding the mic..TOTALLY CLUELESS
The interviewer seems really lost unfortunately. It's a bit uncomfortable, I feel bad for her!
I was going to post almost the exact same thing. But one positive point is it’s a rare example of when an interviewer loses control but still gets a really good interview. Chvrches is often so calculated but they’ve been answering album questions for a while, and after being on tour for a while with few breaks, I can understand why they wanted to just have fun.
