- Today we are talking about alcoholism. We're going to explain why this outdated term may mean we all are one! We are also going to explain what alcohol does to your body and what happens when you quit alcohol Just essentially talk about something I think we all need to talk about in a culture that loves to drink!

Yes, as a Nutrition and Dietetics student the “health benefits” of alcohol specifically red wine are blown way out of proportion. If you want antioxidants just eat the damn grapes!
I've been feeling weird about my alcohol consumption lately. This came at the right time. (Did the test and I scored as a high risk 🙃)
I love these episodes!!! You guys are so funny
also these tangents you guys go on, that’s what makes podcasts great! fuck whoever said stay on topic 🤷🏽♂️
I just watched the skin creams video and I wondered if you all can do a video on the science behind essential oils? Thank you for the info!
Your podcast helps me so much. Love the both of you.
i’m attempting to get sober, i want to try that working out link you guys mentioned. 🧐
Old lady here... I was told when i was little that our family has genes that makes addiction to things we do in excess more likely. I have worked really hard to watch myself. Personally, I know i am addicted to cigarettes and caffeine. I also have another problem, what i call shiny addiction. If a game has cosmetics then i have a hard time not buying more and more. I have to stay away from free to play games or i end up spending more than i can afford. I feel the itch coming on when i play them. When it comes to alcohol I rarely drink. I like being in control too much to let myself go. I cook with it and when there are big celebrations I might have a little but i stay away normally because I have seen and felt the results of someone overdrinking.
Also, drinking. And. Driving might depend on geographical. Location. (I grew up 30 mins away from civilization and would sober up then drive home, at times admittedly, not as sober as I should have been). Think no access to a taxis, then choosing whether or not to drive home or risk staying at a place you aren’t necessarily familiar with (house party)
You cant exercise if you are in withdrawl. You can barely stand up straight because you're shaking so hard and you don't really have strength. Alcohol withdrawl is awful. Its so weird how its a legal drug to consume. Its so bad for you.
My friend confessed to me that she drinks every morning before classes and I don’t know what to do:(
Growing up in an Italiano household, a glass of red wine is highly encouraged, it almost felt cultural
Cheers! 💕
Love how I watched this video while drinking whiskey lmao🤣
Me too 🥴🤣
I've never really been a drinker, I drink when I absolutely want to get drunk and I'll drink half a bottle of vodka with soda. My family finds it blasphemous that I don't like to drink and I never have a beer with them at barbecues. I'll have a shot and that's it, and my rule is do it when I get there so I have time to sober up
Me screaming “LIKERT SCALE” at the TV
I just did the test ...... I'm a alcoholic (':
I'd love to have like an evening with you just to hang out, talk and theorise about science and stuff.
I hear a lot of excuses to not admitting there’s a drinking problem
I’d argue people w/ a drinking problem spend more on drinking my boyfriend does 250 every 2 weeks less than i spend on therapy out of pocket so 🤷🏻♀️
Yall are so funny oml
Just found out buckleys has ethanol alcohol in it. Oops.
You guys are so handsome I can't deal with it.
