This is so funny. In Germany there are the "Hartkekse" (official Name) for the Bundeswehr, called "Panzerkplatte" (Tank plate) by the soldiers and ... they are also sold as cookies for children (named "Liga Kekse").
Lithuanian soldiers are supposed to stuff all the waste from this ration back into the outer pack and close it up with the zip-tie, that's why the ration comes with one.

Lithuanian soldier here, everyone hates the green ones. The glob that’s meant to be the main meal all tastes the same (there are 10 variants) and the additions are meh. Keep in mind it is all produced locally. We are using a new variant now though, most products made in UK. It is much better, everything tastes higher quality and fills you up more.
@@LordKosmos Honestly if shipping costs weren’t that bad I most likely could. I have plenty of them after a recent FTX. I don’t know if it is based on UK MREs though, to me it seems like a money laundering scheme since they are much more expensive. I can confirm that we don't really like the green variant :D. The new one, as mentioned that has mainly UK produce is way better. My favorite one is the halal chicken and rice one. I think it's menu 24 :D.
