I'm a big, strong hillbilly fella and i prefer 45lbs. I find i simply gave better control and accuracy

I was watching another channels in-depth review on these bows after your first video of the 40lb version. It peaked my interest, but after watching their review, the draw weight on the "40lb" unit was coming in at 30lbs, and the "60lb" was coming in at 50lbs when on a pull scale. 30lb draw weight would have a hard enough time killing a rabbit lol. Great idea, but needs to be a bit refined and tuned in before I buy. You should do a review like that.

that looks pretty decent and its very compact when taken apart

Don’t forget to grab an arrow rack that screws onto the bow and a tactical torch and a torch mount so you can be lethal during the night!

Great review! I got mine about 5 years ago. I love mine. The 60lbs draw is more effective with lethal tips. Check out the SAS TACTICAL BOW, brother. Love the channel & your content, dude! Rock on!

I like the bow and I am wondering if the bow can be made to shoot in the left hand style because I am left handed and it looks like it would be a good bow for hunt and stalk scenarios for hunting plus besides being made in draw weights that are great for that but that it would work great because of a lighter carrying weight along with a quiver of arrows on your back but also a simple slide on limbs bow quiver. Would that work alright like that? Please let me know what you think.

      Absolutely and it’s also ambidextrous

Undecided about this one, huntingdoor (while having excellent customer service) sell a lot of cheap made in China product. If a limb snapped or something could be nasty.

Are you concerned about the bolt (the one that holds the folding fiberglass pieces in place) coming loose while you are shooting?

i dont know when I would need 60lb or more unless im stuck hunting a water buffalo or some other huge animal. 40lb to 45lb with 28 to 30 inch draw weight gives you some fast arrows with 500 grains. draw length is more important for recurve bows for me. the compound bows its assisted so you can shoot 60-80 lb more accurate to compromise for lower draw length 25-26 inches.

I'd like to try the 60fpe. Jeez, the Olde English yew bows used to clock 150fpe, and they found, when digging up remains at archeological dig sites. That they could tell the bowman, as their skeletal structure had been shaped to cope with such immense strains of pressure from religiously shooting high powered bows

    • @ArtietheArchon

very very generally speaking a bow will put about 75% of its draw weight into actual fpe/foot-pounds energy of the arrow
