BMW….I agree it’s a little more emotional attachment. And seems a bit more solid.
The BMW has a good drive emotionally but I am going with the S5, it has better looks, and better user interface. The S5 is like wearing a tuxedo to the race track, a real grand tourer.
I just ordered the M440i convertible! It will be my first BMW.
BMW because of the in line 6. I have the 2020 440i cabriolet with M sport and exhaust (plus 35hp here in North America) with the B58 engine. Love the way it roars. You get 2 cars in one with the hard top.

Glad I have the 2020 with the hard top roof. Agreed the best of both worlds plus the front end look way nicer but could get used to the new grill with the right color combo to down play it.

I have a white 2021 M440i cabriolet. Love it. Your remarks are quite on the spot. I love the camera outside the car that are very usefull. The auto park system is a must for my girlfriend. I bought all the available options on the market. Included roll bar is a nice security feature. The head up display is very important for me. The mild hybrid system is an economy factor. Economy wise: 7.5li/100 on the last 3000km last fall. Since I live in Canada, my car is store for the winter. Can’t wait for spring to come. Nice review, thanks.
The S5 is the "it" car down at my local nightclub, Maybe you have heard of...Sprockets? Yeah baby! I'd rather own/drive the M440i convertible myself.

No question. I bought the 440i for me. Model from 03/2023 with the curved screen.

I had an Audi S3 which I just loved but wanted to get something bigger for my kids in the back. I really wanted an S5 sport back but could not find a low mileage one near me. I did end up buying a 2024 demo M440i Gran Coupe. I hate how it looks like a big screen in the front. I wish I had gone with an older one with I drive 7. Yes the M440i GC is very quick but the steering is numb. Having had a E46 3 series it’s amazing how we have gone backwards in steering feel. I feel like the gauges in the M440i are much less attractive with their techno look and I think the S5 physical controls are the better way to go. I also thing the S5 in Sportback form looks better. Yes I bought the car I didn’t fall in love with but will likely trade it in at some point for the Audi for the better ergonomics inside. Thanks for a great video and your English is amazing!
Audi is nice but BMW is just overall looks more aggressive. Audi seems very posh and sweet while the BMW looks hard and aggressive. Overall i think bmw is better in this case even tho i love the digital screen from Audi

Really good and thorough but too long. Personally, I never watch a video longer than 15 minutes. I'll thumbs up and subscribe though. I thought the 430i's steering was light, even in the most sporty mode. I've owned two Audis; a TTS and an S4, and the only thing I didn't like was the steering feel.
It is obvious that they share secrets because the roofs behave the exact same way. They might be inter-changeable. Both beautiful cars so just pick one.

What color leather is the bmw? Is it beige or oyster?
If I was paying this much for a car, I would want the balance between fun and practicality to be just right, which I think the S5 delivers better. Although I would want to go for the M440i because it feels and looks more luxurious and emotionally attachable, the practicality of it is lacking a bit.
Yeah, it’s a toss up. I like the Audi S5 or S8, but there is definitely something different you feel behind the steering wheel of a Beener! My last car was a 2015 228Xi and even though it was only a 200 series, that car was sweet.
If you’re looking at an S5 or a M440i you don’t use the word ‘practicality’ in the same sentence. You want something practical, get a Volvo or even a Saab

Audi is a little bit more attractive on the outside, especially with that color. But still, I would go for the Bmw because of the engine. Legendary B58!

I see vibration and shaking in in the cab and steering wheel is it supposed to be there when hitting bumps? Is it because the top is missing?
Yeah I noticed a lot of that shaking in the Audi, plus the wind is blowing his hair around pretty good in the Audi, 🤔.
