I've only had my makeup professionally done once and it would have been a much better experience if it was like this. I was a bridesmaid for a friend's wedding. The makeup was way too heavy and the woman completely failed to match my skintone. I didn't even look like myself. The hair stylist also wrecked my natural curl pattern. I've never told the bride but I hated the way I looked that day.
I have the exact same experience! My make up was orange, the artist said it was to warm me up as I'm so pale. I said I'd rather have a foundation to match my skin tone, she disagreed and I didn't want to cause fuss for the bride. I looked in the mirror when it was done and I didn't recognise myself. Still cringe at the photos !!
