Elta md makes an amazing tinted spf 50 - so you have a light coverage makeup and high spf…the reason your skin is pilling (the little clumps) is because of the order you are putting the products on and not waiting enough between layers for application…always put water based serums first, oil based serums second, apply moisturizer (cream first then oil - which I always apply a vitamin e oil after my cream moisturizer) and then spf - spf should sit for at least 10 minutes before going outside…waiting a minute or two between layer type will help as well…I used to have the same problems in my skin routine and these steps helped a lot!!!
Ahhhh yes, I've definitely been rushing putting everything on my face, been taking your advice and trying to leave a little time between each product.
I love the Ordinary products, my skin likes them too. I think I did the same with retinol, my skin looked terrible. Now I use it every other day with moisturizer. Glad I'm not the only one!
Same here, it's taken 6 months for it to look better. Also the products are nice and light, I can't believe some of the reactions I've had to other products before, also just learned my skin hates make up!! Wore it every day this week to film every day and I have a boil on my chin.....not even exaggerating
It's totally normal to want to try everything when you dive into skincare! I was the same way. However, I think your skincare routine might be a bit excessive with all the active ingredients. Your skin has always looked very healthy! If your main concern is anti-aging, consider consulting a dermatologist for a prescription of tretinoin. Pair it with a good moisturizer, daily SPF, and maybe some vitamin C and you'll be good. Simpler is always better your skin has already done a great job so far on it's own 🙂
Ive been using all my products now for 3 months and haven't noticed a single change 😂 there's a few products I'm going to drop once I've used them up

Charlotte! I love your videos! Always have! I have been doing my skin care with spf and eye cream since my 20s and I am now 50 and it has been a great investment of time and money!! Moisture is key...for skin, hair, lips, body!! As u get older you will see the difference!! ❤

Love all these products but please be careful with which ones you’re using together. For example lactic acid can’t be used with peptides or retinoids. Also you should really use sunscreen everyday especially when using the retinol or lactic acid bc it makes your skin a lot more sensitive to the sun. You can cause damage to your skin barrier if you’re not too careful so just check if they can be used in the same routine for all you’re using. and make sure to patch test any new products! 😊
I have it all on my little sheet, retinol to be used on the day I don't use lactic acid and I don't think I use the peptide, that one is for Kristian. I do need to start using my SPF a bit more, I just wish the sun would come through the thick clouds to give me more of a reason to use it

Hi! If your spf is hydrating enough, there's no need to use spf and moisturizer. Spf can be the last step in your morning/day routine. If you're not using spf that day just do moisturizer. There shouldn't be any need to lower your spf from 50 to 30. Spf 30 is also good, however, spf50 pa++ with UVB and UVA protection is ideal. I have several hydrating, easy to use face (and body) spf recommendations if anyone is interested :)

I've been using 'Ambre Solaire Super UV Anti-Dryness Protection Cream SPF50+ 50ml' and it's been pretty good, also giving 'La Roche-Posay Hyalu B5 Aquagel SPF30' a go, it's got a lovely gel formula
The hole for your ear is great for wearing earbuds, so you can listen to asmr and fall asleep.

DO NOT USE RETINOL IN THE MORNING!!! Please, only in the evening.
Also, the thing you were describing when you use several different products and you can feel it come off your face in small clumps is called 'pilling'.
No never in the morning, I always put it on at night (saying I used it every day might have been a bit confusing) I just didn't use any moisturiser with it so it dried my skin out so bad. Much better now though
