Kodachadri is a paradise for Trek and a challenge for 2 wheelers. This brought back my memories of 1989 & imagine ride to this peak during monsoon. Yezdi & Rx were part of the ride.

Beautiful views only come after the difficult climbs... Such a wonderful video man... I wish I could had an action cam when we were climbing this place with Passions, platinas and splendours :p
For such roads I learned a trick that will increase your tyres grip on dirt sand or snow. Simply tie ziptie throughout your wheel with alloys. It will enhance your grip. Then after ride simple cut off the ties. Saved me on Zozilla.
Yeah I have seen people tying chains as well. I was kind of fine with the grip. it was drifting at times but it was fun. I dropped my bike because I was being stupid by riding on the centre!
GoPro Man Bro can I ask you something.? I am thinking about getting a D390 2017 mostly for Himalayan rides with pillion. Will it be a good decision? Does the new 390 has that kind of low end torque to haul pillion plus luggage for two?
What I can tell you is that there are number of people who has done Leh Ladakh on D390. Only problem they had I guess was the fuel. Just carry enough fuel and you should be fine.
You can definitely do it, there are people doing it on splendor as well. It all depends on comfort and availability of resources. But to be very frank for such long rides PILLION isn't a good choice for d390. Also Himalayas isn't the place to rev and do corners so you really don't need an aggressive bike like d390. Rest its all your decision :)
best off-road track I have seen so far and awesome vlog as usual heared that Ur a good guy but every one saw it in the vlog will catch up soon bro cheers 👍👍👍👍
I recently visited kodachadri on my fz15. This was one of the toughest 7km i have ever done.. not advisibal for inexperienced riders.. Advice for visiters - go in morning before 7 am so you can avoid jeep coming from opposite direction, dont forget to trek to peak of the hill awesome place.. ps- any further question regarding stay and trek post in this thread..
Awesome dude... This is next level offroading... Haha yea the video was long, but it kept me glued to the screen untill it was over 👌😁😁... As always a great vlog man... Cheers 😎👌😁😁 ~Klutch Knuckle
Had been to Kodchadri last weekend (9th and 10th Dec) :). Yes, indeed it was a very tough offroading route. But after reaching on top it is truly a paradise. Would love to ride with you some day :)
GoPro Man.. This video is awesome. You Vloged only the eventful things which made it like a Match Highlights... Recently I have ridden to Mandalpatti with pillion... Seems Kodachadri route is way tougher than Mandalpatti...
have been to kodachadri once. went on a hero passion pro😂 with pillion. I HAVE NEVER STRUGGLED SO MUCH IN MY LIFE.TOUGHEST RIDE EVER. also how did versys handle this terrain?
Why you guys didn't went till the temple? Views are amazing from there. I went there last month the view is awesome but we have to take some risk with our bike. I lost my wallet there with all the original documents in it. It's one hell of the ride which I will never forget in my life.
@@annyarun that's not the highest view point at kodachadri. If you would have gone further and stopped the motor Cycles at the IB point. From there if you climb to the 'sarvajna pitha' ( believed as the highest view point of kodachadri) it would have been much worth... From there you can get down the other side to find a place called 'chitra moola' that place is also adventurous (it's a place in kodachadri itself). You missed the best part in kodachadri and even in hidlumane falls also..(no offence on this great work.. this is also great .. but it would have been even better if you had shown that also..).
bro nice ride...but take some experienced bikers.........i am from shimoga.... and visited kodachadri 3 times with my suzuki fiero bike...i think its around 15 km from gate to batrumane right.....
Been there there twice offroading, don't know why you guys are stoping all the time, the time i went the trail was lot terrible with rain. did not find it this difficult. like we started and finished in mone stretch. looking at your video you guys make it look difficult for a biker. anyways nice video.
nice video..👍 this track would be more fun to ride in the rains..😛 if u visit the north east, do ride Sandakhpu at India-nepal border, its pure offroad for a good long stretch!!
Nice video, I want to go in my Royal Enfield, Iam sure my bull with muscle power and weight of the bike which can cross Leah and Ladak can easily motor this lovely road. And once again please don't compare bike's, Bikes are a personal choice, A CAR CAN GET YOU TO YOUR destination, BUT A BIKE beauties YOUR WHOLE JOURNEY
Its more difficult for Enfield bikes. The low ground clearance, street tires and weight make it difficult. As for Ladakh, again its easier on the street naked bikes than the Enfield ones unless you have a Himalayan.

This video is just too good! :)
I've seen videos of kodachadri.. But none had shown the actual treacherous route.. Man!.. That is too much of offroad!

I had done it on 2006 model pulser 150 and friend of mine did it on same model herohonda Splendor. It's all about experience in riding in such terrain
annere, how about going to kodachadri in rainy season(july).. in a bike?..is it advisable?
That tyres aren't meant to go off-road.
When it changed to a multi terrain tyres, we can make it much easier.

I upgraded my 220f with mrf mogrip tyres and those are simply amazing for offride biking ✌️✌️
you on that bike is something so nice to watch everytime..
How did the Himalayan fare while climbing?
You haven't gone to full top, from IB still we need to go approximately 1km further. And you haven't tried with Drone?
Woww.... fantastic 👌🏻
superb video. jus imagine the situation in rainy season... lush green n lots of dirt on Ur bikes...lolz.
awesome adventure..
someday I will make it there during monsoon :)
Respect ✌ . Awesome video
Many are Rash jeep drivers!!!, have been there twice
I THINK after kodachadri the place u went was SIGANDHURU????
Nice video... I'm placing to visit this place, where did you go after this in boat?
Good video. Well done. No BS. And ಕನ್ನಡ🤘🙌
Although not sure why you called it the toughest road in the main title.
I'm enjoying your videos bro!!! thank you so much
The points where you got into the vehicle carrier boat and then later got off from it... Which are those places ?
Vivek Nair bro that is sigandhur 😉
They also call it Hasirumakki?

Kodachadri looks Amazing!
Was that a versys 650 ?
Had been to Kodchadri last weekend (9th and 10th Dec) :). Yes, indeed it was a very tough offroading route. But after reaching on top it is truly a paradise. Would love to ride with you some day :)
did they allow you to go in bikes? some were saying since recent only local jeeps were allowed to go there...
How's it in monsoons?
Awesome video.. btw how did the versys perform in those conditions?
Nice one.. loved it :)
GoPro Man.. This video is awesome. You Vloged only the eventful things which made it like a Match Highlights... Recently I have ridden to Mandalpatti with pillion... Seems Kodachadri route is way tougher than Mandalpatti...
Yeah steep curves and bumpy roads. Felt much worse but more fun than Mandalpatti
What to they check for now, at gate? Can we camp out?
Doesn't really check anything, Just the entry fees. I have heard you can tent with the permission from IB. Do not know much info about that.
I think the way was dry ? when we went it was completely wet no traction at all but anyways it's one crazy offroading
Bro any heating issue in ktm?
your vlogging is improving with each video goproman :D keep it up bro
Thanks brother. That's comforting :)
This video was just Epic !!!!
You guys visited to peak? on the top of the peak there is a temple. I went twice there on my RX with pillion :-)

Yes its possible to ride. I dont understand your question though

Ah like that. I dont know man i never rode ns160.. But from my experience you can take any bike to offroad
