I wear blue eyeshadows or eyeliner it’s my jam-the color goes well with my chocolate brown eyes. I like the blue shimmers best. I enjoy the video, it was a fun watch.

Ohh Orange is a good one! I can feel myself really leaning into oranges, and feel like it's going to be a color I really love this year both in makeup and other things ❤️
This is such a fantastic idea! I’d love to see one on yellows because I know I’m always drawn to palettes with grungy yellows and would love inspiration to use what I have of those 😂 my favorite blue shadow is surprisingly in the Adept Inspired palette, Isabel Rochev. It’s such a multifaceted and beautiful blue shade. I don’t know which is my least favorite, though. ☺️
Adept has so many pretty eyeshadows! I do definitely think I’m going to do yellow next, as that is a shade I want to focus on using on my eyes this spring 💛
Personally I'm terrified of primary colors as eyeshadows blues especially!! Tysm for ur hard work on this! Would love to see a version of all colors taupes/greys especially! cool toned pinks are also so hard to find especially for a nice sparkly eyeshadow. Everything has a warm shift to it or blue sparkle running through it which is not my jam..🖤 been on the hunt for a while for a dope straight up cool toned sparkly pink!

Love this series thanks Steph My favourite blue monochromatic palette is BHCosmetics sweet shoppe bubble gum palette great quality and in general I love a dusty blue steel blue eyeshadow like ELF earth and ocean palette

I think in future with these videos, categorising it by texture and by shade would be really good! I’d love to see you name your top 3 for each category plus maybe a couple that you weren’t happy with!
I love how in depth you go but it is definitely a long video to watch and i can’t imagine how long it took to make so maybe just highlighting the best and worst would work well for this series!
Also having chapters in the video so ppl can skip to the colour/texture they’re looking for would be super helpful!

also if you were just picking your favourites i’d love if there was some text on the screen of what shade from what palette (maybe next to the swatches?) and even the price so that people can easily figure out what shades they like if they want to buy them!

This video was awesome. I’d love to see more colors. My favorite is purple. I also get dry patches in the corners of my eyes. I added an eye serum with hydrating eye cream and that works well. My favorite serum is Kiehls Powerful-Strength Dark Circle Reducing Vitamin C Eye Serum. It’s a little pricey, but I got 2 on super sale a few months ago at Sephora. I pretty much use the eye creams I get in Ipsy. I hope this helps!

Your blue look today is so pretty steph dang! I really like the blues in Sydney grace's unbreakable bond palette. I also absolutely love our starry night and glossover from the Sydney Grace and temptalia radiant reflection palette. I got that one and thought oh maybe I won't like it and the blues and the dark purple blupurple are my favourite from that one. I also love the blues in the little ghost from oden's eye. But to be fair minus a couple singles and clionadh shades blue isn't always the most represented but I am coming back around to blue I used to wear baby blue all the time in high school lol

Omg. New comment now that I'm deeper into the video. First, this editing must have taken FOREVER, you did great work. Second, what a great reference. Third, because it can be used as a point of comparison, I'd much rather see some purple-blues in with the blue-purples than have them be left out.
I'd watch a year's worth of these videos and then keep them saved to play while I'm working. This must have been so much work but I hope you keep it up!

The navy shadows that you think may have a gray cast remind me of denim. I don’t know if that is because there’s gray in it or not but definitely reminds me of denim blue jeans.

I have several favorite blues. My absolute favorite is just like a hint of blue. And it’s using nd xenon. I’ll try to explain my favorite look at the end, but it’s like the shade snowbow when the sparkles are a little bit on nightsky which is a metallic black, the blue sparkles just look stunning. And ebb in the outer corner just adds a little bit of blue so it’s beautiful and it was my most worn look all winter! Yes I mix it with mattes from my dream palette.
Similarly to that look, I’ve been using huda beauty pretty grunge with a neutral brown transition and then the more purply browns, fearless and nirvana, Strong AF on lid, and use the cream black to line upper lashline and set that with matte black. Then I reach into my oat McGrath (either mothership 1 or beidgerton) and dab on the sparkly blue on top. Some of the sparkles get on the liner and it just seems to bring out the subtle blue sparkles. So pretty!
And you could do the same thing and add the shade Storm Faerie from cold moon over center of lid. I love that blue too!!!
My favorite blue palette is glamlite cookies and cream!
I like using the blue sparkly shades and some of the greyish matte blues along with brown mattes from pat McGrath motherships. I think i used bronze seduction browns last summer.
And my favorite most worn look all winter that I mentioned a little bit above:
My dream palette: use nurture all over lid and crease/transition.
Aspiration to deepen inner and outer corners of lid and crease, make it blown out.
Then take the xenon palette:
Nightsky-line upperlashline
Dab Snowbow over center of lid and a little overlapping over aspiration and a little higher into crease so you can really see the sparkles.
Ebb-dab a little bit in outer and inner corners, over aspiration a little bit, but don’t bring it up too high, just a little bit.
I do reach into the I Need A Nude Palette for the shade Whisper for inner corner highlight.
My favorite neutral look with a hint of blue that I think looks stunning and I wore so much this past winter. I ended up hitting pan in nurture and aspiration, and got huge dulls in nightsky and ebb because I wore this look so much. You barely notice the blue but it’s just a hint…

@@itsjustStephslife it is my favorite look! Somedays it looks a little more bluish tinted than others, but either way, it’s subtle enough to wear for wherever I need to go. It’s not too wild. And I use the same shadows in lower lashline.
@@itsjustStephslife my xenon palette, nightsky and ebb have such a good dent in them! And snowbow probably has a good dent too! I do like Skift in place of Snowbow , so whatever you’re feeling. But I cannot quit this look! I love nurture and aspiration from my dream, with these shades from xenon! My absolute favorite winter combo ever! Hope you love it too!!!! ❤️

Hi Steph I have both rosacea and eczema affected eyes and I really like the Paula’s choice eye cream for around the eyes. I also sometimes use their balm in the pot at night if I’m super dry. Hope that helps.
Onto blue eyeshadow 😂. I was around in the eighties (I was 18 in 1990) so I’m not someone who wears much blue eyeshadow tbh. I really like a navy liner or shadow and a very icy shimmer, but a bright or mid tone blue is too reminiscent of the eighties for me. I know blue is back as I am even seeing bright blue mascaras (so so eighties 😂), but nope not doing that again. If you were around the first time it may be worth checking if it makes you look dated😂. In any case I like blue on other people and will wear a turquoise liner in the Summer for a pop of colour. Best wishes x

To me it looks like a denim blue. It’s so pretty. It makes my brown eyes pop. I also love the Tiny Marvels Scarab shade. That’s an absolutely gorgeous shade🥰 My ultimate favorite color is a green brown shade with gold in it 🫠The Too Faced Chocolate Gold Bar is my tippity top fav with that color 😊❤️💄

My favorite blue shade is Pharaoh's Crown from Quicksand. It makes my eyes look like they're glowing. I just started playing with Recently Deinfluenced and Digital Zombie is really cool too. It makes me want the Digital Zombie Holo single they have too.

I don't have actual dry patches on my eyes, but I have very dry undereyes. My two favorite eye creams for deep hydration are the Biossance Squalane + Marine Algae Eye Cream and the Fresh Black Tea Advanced Age Renewal Cream used on my eyes as an eye cream.
