Watching Bob on stage later in my life was a piece of Americana . The man was more then a game show host he was a dream maker for a lot of folks across America.
That’s amazing she won $5 grand! Bob Barker is such a classy man!! Always had such beautiful suits and looked so nice and so eloquent:) Sad times won’t ever be like this again. Such a great show
Bob Barker. The best tv gameshow host
Henrietta was very beautiful & probably the calmest & classiest woman ever on that show.
Right? You can't help but like her
I loved this show back then. Bob was a class act and so natural. I wanted to be just like Johnny Olson. The people in the audience dressed in nice clothes not sweat pants.
Sigh ... the bygone days.
I like the old days too so much.I miss them.
I miss Bob. Just not the same without him hosting.
The models don’t miss him.
Bob Barker was and will always be the GOAT of game shows
“I can’t show her this It could ruin her whole day.”
Opens $100 slip
Classic Bob
The rhythm of suspense Bob has is impeccable. Drew can't be this good in his dreams.
You got that right. Bob is way better than Drew.
I can't watch anymore, drew started out nervous. Then he got better, more comfortable. Since cv19 began he's transformed into a wierdo.
Because Drew is a fake and bob wasnt
@@laura-kn9qf a second rate comedian you mean
@@laura-kn9qf Drew in there for the 💰 only. Bob wasn't all about the 💰 and it showed
People were so much more calm back then. I like it
Crazy is the normal today, I guess.
And polite
Beautiful lady. Happy she won so much!
Bob owned it, Drew calls it in. It's like night and day.
Over 600 for that grill in 1983😯
Sad to say a lot of these ppl are no longer here,or very old!but Bob has outlived many of them!scary!!!That's just being real!
@Peter Walker it’s so funny because a lot times I watch old shows or movies and involuntarily many times I think,so sad most of those people are not here with us anymore…and then one we’ll be gone too…such as life,…especially now when everything is so hard and sad with thud horrible virus….And yes,Bob is still alive.
I just asked Alexa was Bob still alive, when she said yes he’s 97, I said out loud Betty White & he should get together.
He’ll probably outlive me, and I’m 37
Hey,give Drew a fair chance. He's trying his very best. GRANTED,HE HAS BIG SHOES TO FILL,BUT HE'S DOING A TERRIFIC JOB AT IT.Very excitable and wonderful host.
Have watched snippets of the latest shows. Simply awful from top to bottom. Audience, contestants, the latest announcer, Drew, the new studio, Just putrid.
Another big $5,000 win on Punchy! WTG, lady!
I ask myself that all the time Bob,
"Have you made bad decisions in your life?"
All the time Mr. Barker 😂🐶
WTF...
¿$675.00 for a BBQ grill...?
In 2024, that grill would sell for over $2,100.00...!!!
Henrietta was one cool, classy lady!
Inflation adjusted that 5,000 bucks is worth $13,704.97 in 2021 so not a bad for 1983
Originally aired November 8, 1983.
Thanks for the information which allowed me to use an inflation adjustment website
Accounting for inflation that $5000 is like $5 million today.
Oh come on. From the title I was expecting the 10k win.
Thanks spoiler
My younger sister had Strawberry Shortcake bike like that! 😂
The 1,000 slip looks like it is going to fall apart. And I loved Bob's cufflinks on his shirt.
It was also advertisement!
Seems like MOST older folks don't get very excited about winning prizes...
Who's been pressing the dislike button: Happy Gilmore?
Maybe a Drew Carey fan.
His amazing host .
She didn't have a big win. She had a crushing disappointment.
Henrietta Ovela ! Come On Down !!
You're The Next Contestant On The Price Is Right ✅
No way did you really just repeat a line from the video? That’s super original and I bet no one’s ever done that before
Great contestant
I always kind of wondered (in general) what went through people's head, say if a 30 year old male, is presented with some bedroom set... what went through their heads...? Thinking "Come on, don't you have something else. What am I going to do with that?"
Awesome win!!! $5,000 is how much I settled for
HENRIETTA WINS $5,000 PUNCH A BUNCH
Unless you “pull a Bryan” move and risk it to get the top prize of $10,000 (top prize back then) have the audience “buy a dog” 😂🤣
@@TheKevTravel Bob Barker: ohh Brian Brian Brian
@@superdave354 Bob: Could we change the rules of the game? You know, he gave that up and he got *$10,000!*
It is worth $14,5000 in today's money!
Ive always wanted to see someone go insane on the punch game, like really punch the hell outa the wall or like kick it XD lol
😂😂😂
The contestant has class, something that so many women lack today😢
Henrietta is very dry. Reserved.
If that was Brian in the mid 90s he'd give back that $5,000. The gambling man won $10,000 on the very next punch after his wife and audience yelled at him to keep it and he said "If you're scared get a dog! I'm going for It!
It's Brian, not Brain.
That happened in Season 24 around 1996. Brian who gave back $5000 dollars. He won $10000 dollars!!!
A
What would you do if you had $5000?Keep it or try for $10,000.?If it were me,I'd stop with $5,000.Worst amount would be $50.No guarantee you'll win $10,000 or on others $25,000.
Henrietta did very well. 😀👍
By winning 🏆 $5,000 in Punch 🤛🏻-A-Bunch 🤜🏻, of course.
Also from the November 8, 1983, episode of THE PRICE IS RIGHT ▶️.
Well, it's true.
Harriette should kept going for it,she could get $10,000 and for the best.
Not until Brian in 1996. There's no reason to give back the $5,000.
What's up? ✌🏻💨

@@anandguruji83 She 👊 her way to 5K !
Thank For Sharing!
Congratulations
She must be a mom ,she knew every one ,matter of factly
She was a beautiful woman.
Looks like Patsy Cline
What a classy lady
Holly Hallstrom was hott in her day...
😛
Always liked Holly. I wanted her as an aunt.
Hi Holly😍
Aired 1983 HENRIETTA OVELA PLAYS PUNCH-A-BUNCH FOR CHANCE TO WIN $10,000 DOLLARS IN CASH. SHE GOT ALL {4} PRIZES AND {4} PUNCHES!! 1ST PUNCH $1,000 DOLLARS. DECIDES GIVE BACK $1000 2ND PUNCH $5,000 DOLLARS. HENRIETTA KEEPS $5,000!! {2} OTHERS WERE $50 $100 DOLLARS.
HENRIETTA WINS $5,000 PUNCH A BUNCH
Jonathan Mangum uses Johnny Olson's prize intro style on Let's Make A Deal.
These people, Andrea Reyes and David Ellis, look like they're too obsessed for the outcomes of the games, even less-exciting wins.
He looks exactly like Barney.
$1000 adjusted for inflation is $2600. $5000 is $13365 when adjusted
Bob Barker is so missex.. he was the gameshow
the audiences are sooo different then they were back then. I like it better now when they jump up and down and show real excitement. this woman barely cracked a smile.
That's HER personality: some were excited
I could not understand why they got on this show acting like the product they had was something they come up with.
I was a fan of this show until I realized that they handpicked people from the audience to come on their show. Instead of leaving it up to chance and giving anybody a shot who's in the audience.
Duh
Pretty woman
ho mmyl c.est tres vieux cette épisode
How classy the models look.
