These guys re established in history what it is to truly perform. I didn't like the latest album as much as any other, even disliked a few tracks, but doesn't change the fact that they're just about the best live band in the world, and i'd still kill to see them at any stage of their careers. This pedal and that pedal, and all of it run through a Marshall head set on stun! Gives it that fresh squeezed flavor!
Most of that tone is the animato distortion and marshal heads with a split signal qith clean bass to keep the bottom end fat.
They have a really good team.
