Sounds really good man!
You should A/B it with the Alexander Pedals version of Jubilee pedal! Sounds sweet.
The feel of those rosewood necks are addicting arnt they?
I have been a sub to IV8888 for years and never knew you did guitars as well! New sub here...
Holy shit! Might have to sell off my Guv’nor 2 for this badboye
At least on this demo it sounds like the Jubilee has less gain that the Purple Plexi, definitely interesting. I don't have a "Marshall" style pedal yet, but I do have the Lovepedal Super Six Stevie mod and a Lovepedal Invisible man - those stacked seem to give me a similar tone but hard to tell without trying them out side to side. I really like Lovepedal, hope they are back. I would try this or the Purple Plexi.
Have you ever been tempted to utilize gun ear protection for a vibrato feedback binge ?
5:38 to get to the actual sound
How can I double like this???:)
Tasteful and outstanding playing, sir! I love my Lovepedal Jubilee tone-wise, but there is a noticeable noise floor that seems out of the ordinary and unlike any of my other pedals, including other Lovepedals. The noise is not a function of the gain setting either, like you'd expect. Did you notice this?
I don’t notice a lot of noise that would make me think it’s noisier than any other drive pedal
@@Guitarsenal Thank you. Yeah, mine may be defective though I've heard others comment along same lines. Keep up the great channel!
@Zen Please reread. It's present and unchanged when the gain is all the way down. I have gain pedals, including other MIB pedals with much higher gain, and this one stands out particularly. Like I said, it's probably defective.
@Zen Thanks, Zen. I've got a multimeter and am familiar with it. I'll have to give it another listen. It sounded much higher than 60 Hz noise, but maybe a higher harmonic.
@Zen I think you're on to something, Zen. On battery, the noise is almost all gone. With a Strymon 9V single converter, I hear a strong squeal. Also, the Jubilee's two neighbors are on a different supply, and when I switch the Jubilee to the same power source (multi-channel) as its neighbors, the noise decreases as well (though not as quiet as battery). I don't believe any of the supplies have a ferrite bead, at least not in the cabling. Come to think of it, my Lovepedal JTM has neighborhood problems, too, and limits what I can put next to it. But both pedals are worth it because they sound so great. Thanks for the tips!
Come here for a Plexi pedal review but watch in confusion like “isn’t that IV8888..???” 😂
Bought it cause you made it sound great Lol . Single notes were good but chords really sucked on this pedal flubby low end.. (my experience) sold it fast
Can someone tell me any reason why this is better than a tube screamer? I want one, but think the TS would be a better investment...
This is an amp in a box pedal that is meant to sound like a cranked Marshall Jubilee through any amp - a tubescreamer is its own circuit, you probably can't get the same amount of gain and distortion with a TS unless your amp is already cranked or on the edge of breakup.
@@GuyNarnarian Update: I've owned both pedals now and wasn't crazy about either of them. Nothing can beat my mystery modded digitech overdrive pedal. Particularly through a tube amp.
@@jackkovar7806 I am more interested in a Marshall style amp in a box but thanks for the tip!
There is no way....no way this guy has a wife. Has way too much time to play with cool toys to have a wife. Guns and guitars! Jealous I am.
If he does has I wife... she must be awesome.
Sounds really good man!
