I'm confused. I was born in England and lived there nearly 40 years. Never once did I get treated this well by a GP. I mean don't get me wrong I can understand the stress they are under (mostly in hospitals though) but unless in the last 10 years things have totally changed I find this to not be representative of most people's experience.
Sadly so, they're getting more and more cursory and disconnected. My practice used to be the same 3 who saw me from birth but now it's like a comedy club that changes week on week.
It depends where you go. Some GPs are better than others. My own GP has been an absolute saint and thankfully I've never had a bad experience with them at all.

You do know that urine is sterile. If it is from a healthy person. Bacteria are only in there if there is some sort of infection. It is not pleasant to look at but not dangerous either. Although I would have washed my hands afterwards hahaha I mayored in Biology and Chemistry. And we did have to test urine samples and blood samples as well. To be honest, blood testing is a lot more dangerous and difficult then urine. Give me urine any given day. :) Besides that people can in certain situations drink their own urine after a cleaning process. Urine is made mostly of water and waste from your body. I am not sure about the entire process of that, only know that it can be done.
