Thanks for the kit! I have a question though, since the height of the duct can be adjusted, can I use a standard volcano nozzle or something of that nature?
We're not selling the STL files right now. This is our own design that we made from scratch. You can purchase the new version though if you wish. Just the parts are here: www.th3dstudio.com/product/sovol-sv06-5015-layer-fan-duct-abs/
@@TH3DStudio Hi Tim, I''d be more than happy to buy the duct from you, but your cheapest shipping option to Australia is $25 USD, making the total when converted to AUD around $70 AUD. So, not worth it. It would be a lot easier to buy the STL from you and print it myself. Please reconsider making the STL available for purchase. Cheers.
Great idea! The only thing I would have done differently is st stagger the splicing (In case the shrink tube slips off). I do like the newer duct, you did a great job on the design.
so is there a proper way to set the height of the cooling. too high or too low. i would think too high it would cool your nozzle and that is not good. is there some form of test? i have seen some people using water to show fan movement. tia
If you received the older version, you purchased it before the new one went live on 7/25. We aren't selling the STL files as this is still a new product. We may make them available for purchase at a later date. But if you have the older one already, just use that - it's a lot better than stock. We do have just the parts here: www.th3dstudio.com/product/sovol-sv06-5015-layer-fan-duct-abs/
I found that the stock nozzles are creailty cr 6 brass nozzles and the silicone sock are the creailty cr 6 socks that fit thoses nozzles perfect.

Is the stl for sale somewhere online? Thanks

I would assume as the hight can be adjusted this will work with volcano nozzles as well? Thanks!
Great design and kit! I would love to buy, But the shipping cost to the UK is far too expensive.
Sorry to hear that
Just purchased the old kit a couple months ago, but haven't installed yet. Will I be able to download and print the updated parts?

We show the proper mounting height in the video.
@@TH3DStudio thanks I'll watch it again but I don't recall anything other than eyeballing it.
But where do the M4 washers and Phillips screws go...?
Don't start with me lol.
If I just purchased it and I got the old kit. Is the STL for the new fan duct available somewhere?
