DIY Epoxy Resin Craft | How I made BASE for Resin Name Stand?|| NO SILICONE MOLD!! PVC PLASTIC SHEET

Hello, Everyone!! Here's another video of Epoxy Resin craft project. Simple, fun and easy to do resin craft idea for beginners.
I am making resin name stand with dried rose petals, gold foil and fairy light. Since I don't have the mold for the base for the name stand, I made one out of PVC plastic sheet. In this video, I will show how I made the rectangular mold box using PVC plastic sheet that is used as cover for binding files. From making pattern for the mold, measurements to the end project.
Please follow necessary SAFETY MEASURES while working with resin. Work in WELL-VENTILATED or OPEN areas.

Thanks. The measuring and planning out was so great to see. The acetate seemed a little wonky on the long sides though. Maybe attach cardboard (or something flat and stiff) with double sided tape on the outside to keep it straight? I’ll have to try this.

This is amazing well done 👍 quick question after you have sanded the edges do you use anything else to get rid of the white parts where you just sanded ?

I didn't do anything after the sanding but you can add another doming layer of resin over for a better finish.

It's a normal large alphabet mold used for making keychains.

It depends on the name and number of letters.

It depends on the number of letters in a name. More the letters, more the resin required, so, the charge also increases with it.
