    So I bought one just like this one it was also a 1983 13 ft. I bout it for two hundred fifty. I spent 12 hrs cleaning it one day. The I sold it on the week end for four thousand dollars. It need it work so I let it go cheep. The profit is made when you buy this cheep.

    Such a helpful video! Is that light shining through a thinner area of fiberglass across the ceiling? Is the fiberglass there on a Burro actually thinner?

    • @erinadachi
      @erinadachi  Рік тому

      It is actually thinner. Everywhere else is double layered but center ceiling. Originally there was a carpet strip there. We just filled it flat with resin on ours.

    We just brought one!! Paid a bit for it. has all original lights, fixtures, and everything but floor and cushions. New frame, and tires, floor done too. Fiber glass needs a lot of work but it is mostly just patch. Accept around one window and it is the front one. So your channel helped me to decide to get it. We re older, the older man who owned it hurt his back so unable to finish it, he sold it to the an we brought it from who looks for things on sale and flips them. So happy we did.

    The fiberglass with new paint is highly likely to lose all the old smell of mold, and any other. But do discard all the stuff and fill with the new one. That will be a great camper!

    She is a beauty. Wish I could find one spent years looking. I can see her in her glory and redoing her. Lucky to have found her. Sub hope to see more. We are getting ready to bld a cargo 5 x 8 into camper. Am excited but yours was my dream originally. Just cannot find one cheap enough to make it worth restoring. Even with the cargo would still get one. I also, have a used square drop which is a run a way the 4 x 8 love it but need to stand in it getting older. haha.

      Keep eye out for it wherever you go. You might be surprised some people just leave it in yard like junk. We found this in neighborhood just sitting for years and we finally made offer.

    Yikes, I am practically gagging while I watch this! Mold, mildew, and I do not get on well together. You are so very brave. I will watch episode 2 to see if you throw out all of the cushions, curtains, and replace the sub-flooring.

    Where did you get the sticker from?

      I uploaded the artwork file to the Facebook Burro group under “files”. I used circuit permanent vinyl and cut it out myself.

      Fiberglass lasts forever. We’re going to post our finished remodel video in the next few weeks. Huge difference.
