+Jonathan S Cool, glad to figure this out. Any idea why they had a version with the "hobba heeba" vocals and another with only the "All Star Blitz!" part? Every episode I've seen does NOT have the "hobba heeba" version.
+TenPoundHammer I wrote it with the Habba Heebas originally. Different versions were created for the opening and the closing of the show (different timings). I think there was also an extended guitar solo instrumental version.
Jonathan S You actually composed that Theme Jonathan? That's deadly man! I actually love this theme and also I love the "All Star Blitz" Game Show! My favorite part of the game was the Blitz Bonanza round!
This show's vocal version theme song from All-Star Blitz, is dedicated to the loving memory of creator Merrill Heatter 1925-2017, and announcer John Harlan 1925-2017. They will be greatly missed.
Dick Clark: and to kick us off here on American Bandstand here are Score Productions and the theme to All Star Blitz Dick Clark: That was the theme to All-Star Blitz by Score Productions and now, here's the man to host All-Star Blitz which will be right here on abc and in this same studio Ladies & Gentlemen, please greet a Dear Friend of ours Mr. PETER MARSHALL! Mr. Clark: "Hi Peter" Mr. Marshall: "Hey Richard" (Handshake)
All-Star Blitz replaced Trivia Trap on the ABC daytime schedule in 1985. It, too, suffered the same fate as Trivia Trap, when neither show could compete against NBC's Wheel Of Fortune and CBS' The Price Is Right at 11:00am EST.
Craig Robinson! Cheryl Hines! Anthony Anderson! and Sheryl Crow! All on the game that's going on over their heads... cue singing And now, here's the master of the Blitz Board, RICHARD KARN! Thank You Joey Fatone and Welcome to All-Star Blitz, HELLO STARS! HI RICHARD! I think Richard Karn deserves another Game Show to host or perhaps pick Ricki Lake or even Mark L. Walberg or Colin Mochrie
Jason Nadle or perhaps Dick Clark could've used this for American Bandstand which was Videotaped @ the ABC Television Center in Hollywood the same place where All-Star Blitz also taped
Sabrina Carpenter! Jeff Dunham! Robin Roberts! And Orson Bean! All in a game that's just over their heads! And here's the master of the Blitz Board - TOM BERGERON!
A vivacious game show theme song, with a game show that uses cute symbols in its word gaming.😊 Ironically made in the same year I started liking girls!!👧👯
I was at the piano when "Better Sex" was composed (Well that depends which theme they ended up using, I don't remember, but can't say I "Composed" it.)
Rashida Jones... Gilbert Gottfried... Kathy Griffin... And Andy Dick... All on the game that's going on over their heads... *cue singing* And now, here's the master of the Blitz Board, Tom Bergeron!
+cutemimi25 I like Alfonzo as a host , but this format dosent fit him IMO. he'd fit better on a revival of something more action oriented like High Rollers. Tom has the star-show experience doing Squares and DWTS, this would fit him perfect!
This is actually a catchy song. I just hate the singing here. Hopefully, someone can acquire the instrumental version (as heard on the show), or find away to drown out/remove the vocals.
Hate it or love it, I composed it and am doing all the vocals.

Your theme for Another World in the early/mid 80s was excellent! Well done.
Thanks for that, Justin!

New Love American Style replaced All-Star Blitz the following Monday. It too was cancelled after 6 months on the air.
I just happened upon this on accident, but I'm so glad I did. Underrated theme song.

Thank You Joey Fatone and Welcome to All-Star Blitz, HELLO STARS!
HI RICHARD!
I think Richard Karn deserves another Game Show to host or perhaps pick Ricki Lake or even Mark L. Walberg or Colin Mochrie
R.I.P. Peter Marshall
Happy Days could've used this for dance scene music if it had gone for another season.
Jason Nadle or perhaps Dick Clark could've used this for American Bandstand which was Videotaped @ the ABC Television Center in Hollywood the same place where All-Star Blitz also taped
I could see this as the theme music if either Ralph or Potsie had their own spin-off.
Just wait - some Eastern European figure skater would use this for their short program...
🌚You're Right. Winter Olympics. The Olympics are my all-time favorite things to watch on TV in the even-numbered years.🌚
Huh Huh huh hot he wo we yeao 😅
Moat game shows have instrumental themes.
Most game show themes, are like instrumentals.
Sabrina Carpenter!
Jeff Dunham!
Robin Roberts!
And Orson Bean!
All in a game that's just over their heads!
And here's the master of the Blitz Board - TOM BERGERON!
They don't write 'em like that anymore.
No. They don't.
All Star Blitz should never been canceled in the first place. 😀👍

No, the Better Sex theme was written by someone else.
I was at the piano when "Better Sex" was composed (Well that depends which theme they ended up using, I don't remember, but can't say I "Composed" it.)

And now, here's the master of the Blitz Board, Tom Bergeron!
Funny you should say that, because Tom would be great for a revival. A host succeeding Peter on two shows and doing well.
Tom Bergeron retired.
Then Alfonso Ribeiro can host All Star Blitz, since he took over AFV, I don't see why he can't host this.
He's only retired from AFV, not from television/entertainment AFAIK He's still doing DWTS.
+cutemimi25 I like Alfonzo as a host , but this format dosent fit him IMO. he'd fit better on a revival of something more action oriented like High Rollers. Tom has the star-show experience doing Squares and DWTS, this would fit him perfect!
Remove the vocals and slow down the tempo and it sounds almost like the theme music from Hanna-Barbera's _A Pup Named Scooby-Doo._
Excellent point Michael. come to think of it, it does
Michael Philbert it sho do!
Screwy singing.
This is actually a catchy song. I just hate the singing here.
Hopefully, someone can acquire the instrumental version (as heard on the show), or find away to drown out/remove the vocals.
It's possible.
@@JennieBonbons How? This show was videotaped, and there is no way to separate audio tracks on videotaped stuff.
