    In the mid to late 90’s I spent so much money at used gear stores on sticks and such. Even my first roller hockey skates where used Bauer ice skates with a wheel chassis riveted in place. I didn’t live close enough to an ice rink so I spent most of my time on wheels. There was something about hockey sticks I loved. Even now in my 40’s, I would love to build furniture or even just a nice display to inspire my son. Ive thought about making a rocking chair out of shafts and use the blades and goalie sticks for the armrests… or do a Game of Thrones sort of chair. Having left and right hand blades could really make it look good!! Heck, do it so it can mount to my manual Wheelchair and take it to games or maybe player meets, and get them to surrender one of there old sticks to be added! That would be awesome! Use some skate blade chassis’s on the bottom to use it on the ice! Get towed around behind the Zamboni in a teams mascot costume like I’m the ruler of the Ice! Hahaha! I guess that’s a bit overboard.. oh or make a couple up for the two teams mascots to use and joust using sticks as lances. Oh, or do a mad max sort of thing using sticks as a kind of armor and weapons! lol! Okay I gotta stop, I’m getting carried away. Oh I could make the throne so it could actually be carried! Sorry last one… I can’t even afford to buy one complete stick much less the crazy amount I’d need to do any of those. Maybe if it was a bunch of manufacturer defect stuff that was just going to be trashed or something like that.

    interesting! continuous carbon braid for the shaft, wrapped on a mandrel with a speared hosel. sounds like the best of a bunch of different manufacturers' processes combined.

    Great Video! Great sticks! Great Company! Continuous strand carbon fiber makes sense. The ugly heel and replaceable blade make sense. Love that these sticks are made in Finland. Sending the stick to Noah Dobson in Canada was classy. I wish Pama hockey great success!

    My first stick ever was a Titan (black w white and magenta-pink writing) …followed by Aluminum Easton (Silver) for then black, then gold…and so on…The end story gave me goosebumps remembering those twigs😂

    I think one of the most underrated pieces of equipment is the helmet. Could you do a video based on the helmets in regards to how protective each is considering they are protecting everyone's most valuable asset and id like to know I'm wearing the best protection I can?

    • @jaakkonykyri
      @jaakkonykyri 5 років тому +3

      Drake LaFata im guessing that they are all like nexus so no one kickpoint and the shaft bends very Evenly from every point

    • @jaredharper6737

      Yeah, the stick’s flexpoint is where the lower hand is. All the models are built very similary to each other, so no difference in pama models in this regard.

    Comapny no longer exists. Can't make profit in the market of hockey sticks with the hockey giants, CCM, Bauer, Warrior, and True. I'm guessing covid also shut down production for them, but honestly they had no chance to compete.

  • @DisturbedRocks
    @DisturbedRocks 5 років тому +1

    You don't want a soft blade or a soft heel, not sure why he said that. Also two piece sticks? They should do one piece sticks with their long fibers to see if they hold up better.

    • @HockeyTutorialOfficial
      @HockeyTutorialOfficial  5 років тому +1

      Soft enough for puck feel. Not soft enough for the blade to open up during shooting. The whole idea is to be able to replace the blade. One piece doesn’t work for this.
