Not likely. If you use this logic that all of this are Khmer art, all French, German and Italian art are also Greek art, as well as Japanese and Korean art are also Chinese art. The art you see is a combination of many arts and it has been developed again and again troughout history until now. The root of them from two indianized cultures Daravadi and ancient Khmer mixed with Chinese and Tai cultures. The evidence is some artifacts you see is Daravadi art and the style of almost artifacts are not nearly like the style of Angkor and Bayon art. Please stop claiming that the copy version of Khmer art. As Thai, I know and respect that we got some indianized culture from ancient Khmer. Do you know Lavo or Lavapura. They are one of city states which has ancient Khmer culture. Ayuthaya was established by two city states, Lavo and Supanburi (noted by Chinese as 暹羅國) and then they annexed Sukhothai which was one of Tai's city states. This was the origin of the people you called "Siamese". Lavo is also one of our ancestors. The conflict is from the Hypernationalism in these two country. Some people in these countries don't acknowledge that one time in their history they had same root. Some time they were family (married across royal families), some time they were allied and some time they were enemy. Most of Tai which was from Southern China spread in the northern and northeastern of Thailand. The DNA test results from some research papers show that Siamese who live in the central Thailand close to Mon-India-Tai and marginal Khmer except many of Chinese in Bangkok. I hope these two country will talk in positive way. Cultural war is't benefit people in both country but benefit some group of politicians and elite. Many cases have proved that the Hypernationalism is often the origine of real war and I think we don't need it anymore, do we?
