Jeangu Macrooy ft. Willem Friede - Stories (Bill Withers)

Conductor and pianist Willem Friede joins Jeangu Macrooy for a rendition of Bill Withers compostition 'Stories', live at Concertgebouw Amsterdam.
The Jazz Orchestra of the Concertgebouw and Jeangu Macrooy join forces for a tribute to soul singer and songwriter Bill Withers. Withers, who died in 2020, is known for classics such as 'Lean On Me', 'Ain't No Sunshine', 'Grandma's Hands', 'Use Me' and 'Lovely Day'. Macrooy: "I find Bill Withers' oeuvre enormously inspiring.
