- By Thursday lunch time the boiling pot had turned into a deformed freak as cyclone Uesi sent large pulses of swell maxing out the point for a short period, but this wasn't enough to keep punters from far and wide out of the water and having a crack at taming the beast.

What a weird funky wave, kind of fun but kind of not - looks very hard to surf it well.. humbled alot of guys who thought they ripped ;)
I always thought that this was more of a longboard type of spot. Longboard shortboard fish who gives a s***. On a swell like this it doesn't matter what your on this place is firing!
