In this clip, DiMatteo recounted Joe Gallo getting killed in 1972 and how the scene was reenacted in "The Irishman." However, Frank said the portrayal of that scene was complete bullsh** just like he feels about the rest of the film. - Розваги
When will people realize "The Irishman" isn't based on TRUE story, its based on a book written by a guy who needed money. Liked the movie though
Facts...although I didn't really care for the movie too much. Dinero looked awful. Movie was too long. It was ok
That's the case with 75 percent of all the ex mob guys on youtube and the books they write. Mostly all lies and greatly exaggerated storys. They are just trying to make as much money as they can. It's a shame these cooperaters get to tell their side of their story and people take it as truth and we don't get to hear from the other side. I'm not talking about this guy tho bcs I gave never heard of him and haven't listened to the interview yet but some of these ex mob guys tell some ridiculous story's.
@@mikeharryhunt1709 100% agreed. There is Wikipedia article called "Mob Candy". There is some (very little) info about this guy.
Why I thought it was a boring movie and the cgi made Robert dinero pitiful
Too small-minded to think that far into it. Irky asf
"I was the bullet that killed Joe gallo, hahaha can you believe that?!" - Gianni russo
Huahhahhhaa 🤣🤣
Well done. Love the Russo jokes.
Gianni Russo is real life Cesar flicker man from Hunger games

Danny the Dog was the getaway driver🤡
Frank Footer drove and Tommy the Tank was the lookout
Kevin the Bunseller was the trigger man.

Nah he was in the backroom with Marilyn Monroe otherwise he woulda got shot too
“Hoffa had nothing to do with us over here”
“The Irishmen” is the “ Forrest Gump” of mob movies
Ha ha ha great !
Every mob guy has shitted all over the Irishman. Frank Sheeran was really the Soulja Boy of the mob.
Funny shit is Soulja Boy put in work when they ran in his house.
@@isidrosalas5088 defending your home isnt really putting in work tbh it's awesome I think he a real man for that but it ain't gangsta it's natural instinct what a man pose to do a man isnt expected to kill people everyday
Yes, it was half a bust.
@@KingTay-xg4mi nah it’s putting in work, a lot of people would cower and hide not straight up murk dude. Exactly why you ain’t always hearing intruders gunned down

Another great podcast well done frank
"Nothing... nothing to do with him... in any capacity" sounds like his friends killed Hoffa to me LMAO
🤣🤣🤣
If you watch "the Irishman" as purely fictional(or mostly fictional) then you will most likely enjoy. Not to say that there aren't a few things in the film that are accurate, but yeah most of it was made up or portrayed Sheeran as the Forrest Gump of the mafia when in reality he had nothing to do with it.
Well, all this stuff i came out of sheerans mouth
Read “I Heard You Paint Houses”
That’s not even close to the truth he did at least 20 hits for Russel the only thing that wasn’t true was the Gallo hit
@Ricky Moore the outcomes sure, but highly doubt sheeran was part of all of those moments. Guy hit the nail on the head it made him look like the Forrest Gump of the mafia
Yup, no doubt Forrest Gump of Wise Guys.
Vale definitely binge watched sopranos before these mob interviews
There's a pitty no one talks like this anymore another ten twenty years the accent will be extinct sad times
Yes we do. I’m like two generations after this, Native Jersey & New Yorker accent is alive & well. Don’t let social media fool you.

He still asks about Hoffa LOL.
Late to the party here - but, interestingly, the The Irishman movie itself included actual news footage shot at the scene of the Gallo hit that night and had the detective on the case being interviewed outside Umberto's while stating clearly on camera (as shown in the movie) that witnesses inside Umberto's saw a LONE GUNMAN enter the restaurant and do all the shooting - A L0NE GUNMAN - which confirms Brandt's book and Frank Sheeran's version while completely disproving Frank DiMatteo's (and countless others) alternative versions and speculation.

I told Frank that sport jacket looked horrible and he still wore it on your show... could you believe it ? Huahahahaaaaaa
Joe Gallo, that was a hot pepper
Love the stories from this dude!
So why was jfk killed then because even before the irishman came out I was under the impression already that his brother was the reason he was killed by the genovese family so now I'm confused
Multiple people wanted Kennedy gone. Including the government. The mafia just took the hit.
Try watching a documentary called 'everything's a rich man's trick' .. its here on youtube and puts together an interesting story of jfk the mafia and cia
Marcello and Trafficante did it with Cuban/CIA prior relationships
“ Frank didn’t kill crazy joe I knew the guy who killed gallo I knew him can you believe that how crazy is that ha “ - Gianna Russo
Kill the Irishman was way better than the Irishman by Scorsese... deniro looked 200 years old. Scorsese shoulda left it alone
@JusMister Sullivan Lmao geeesus
They are 2 different stories
Kill The Irishman was a better film than The Irishman? No. Just no.
I disagree I love Pesci scenes butttt I do agree young frank should’ve never been deniro

I love the nicknames of some of these guys.
I was there before the chicken and the egg - Gianni Russo
But what about Nicky Eyes and Tommy Two-times? I knew Trigger Nick wasn't there..since he was my neighbor.
So what I wanna know is why wasn't joe killed for kidnapping a underboss and a captain. How did he survive that ?
Well it started a war, however the profacis couldn’t get to the gallos because they basically had 24/7 police protection outside their President street safe house, in a bid by police to stop a bloody war, Joey got 14 years for extortion which took him out the picture. Joe profaci then died and the commission wanted an end to the war, negotiations with Larry was for him to call a truce and in return he would be made boss but the Profacis made magliocco boss and he continued the war with the gallos, because magliocco failed to end the war he was refused a seat on the commission which led to magliocco and bonanno plotting to take over the commission, Colombo reviled the plot to the commission in return he was made boss. When Joey gallo was released from prison Colombo wanted Peace as did the commission, and they knew that killing Joey would start another war.
@@joescott5322 ain't no they were gonna take over the commission without bringing down everyone and everything including themselves
I wonder when they are watching these movies if they jump up and yell “ THAT’S BULLSHIT!!! I DID THAT HI- EVERYONE HOW ARE YOU’S DOING? THAT’S 100%TRUE I NEVER KILLED THAT GUY IN THE MOVIE YEA YEA HE DID THAT GUY DID IT NOT ME “
Ok....if I had a dollar every time he said ok
Took me 6 clips to realize he didn't play Ace Ventura's Landlord
Lol...
😆 man dude is such a good actor idk his name. He was in Scarface, where he was hitman that Tony killed because he didn't want to blow up the car with the kids in it. He was great in Breaking Bad of recent years, and he was in a episode of NY undercover. Everytime he pops up in a movie he steals the show.
" Veeeenturaa..."
" yes, Satan?"
😆
Pretty well known which five guys were involved. Strictly a Colombo Family hit. The Irishman is ridiculous.
Finally a guy that didn’t Rat
Thought Gallo was smarter than that.
This guy dont need a gun He kills me with his boring stories 💤💤
He wasn't telling a story he was answering questions you fkn plank.
If frank had stuck to the Hoffa story only I might have believed him but when the jfk stuff came up I tuned out immediately
When you spoke about this guy on the phone you said the guy with the funny voice
all I hear is "ima get the papers get the papers"
Dry Snitching = DJvlad Manifesto
These comments are trash lol get new material
Which comment?
They opened for dinner at 4:00 AM?
all these guys from “that life” ruined the Irishman . And we don’t know how true everything they say is either . I kinda wish they would’ve made the movie completely fictional . Same story just gave everybody a different name
I found that scene pretty funni
Can't stand it when vlad says ": *okee*
4am dinner....
Wish I never sat in that barbers chair
Where was Tony the Tiger and Pete the Snail?
They went for dinner at 4 or 5 o'clock in the morning lol
They are all informants
Yea but other witnesses said that there was only one guy soo this is kinda wrong
True events written into entertainment for Hollywood whats the big deal if they've changed real world fact to suit a movie , if I went to movie for my factual history I would've failed school
I'm not a big fan of Frank- a lot of what he says isn't exactly like what he portrays it but he's right on this one .. Sonny DiBiase took out Joey...
The Irishman was one of the best worst mafia films
It was bullshit? That’s not what Gianni Russo told me and I believe that guy over anybody!
Where’s my meatballs and spaghetti, OH!

Well i mean it is a movie...
Anything Crazy Joe Gallo I'm watching!!
Like Gallo stories?
Read Jimmy Breslin's book The Gang that Couldn't Shoot Straight

@@bg4097 i like the fbi informant files too thats been recently released. greg scarpa's are on the fbi's website section called the vault, and he talks about the gallo war from the 60s till joey gallo died. even gave updates on what the gallos were up to after. scarpa informs about colombo originally wanting peace, but when they tried to arrange it with joey, along with the other families interceding, galllo would say F it and be disrespectful...colombo and then persico were his enemies and he just wanted complete control. Rebel guy
it’s almost like it’s a movie
I will watch this video and then get the papers get papers
Why would Scorsese just b.s like that ?🤔
It's based on a book and what Sheeran claimed.
He’s just making a movie based on a book, I don’t know if Scorsese has ever talked about it necessarily being historically accurate.
It’s Hollywood where a lot of “based on a true story” are anything but. They also had another mob movie a few years ago where Michael Shannon played The Iceman Richard Kulinski, but he most likely made all that shit up
Frank is a Joe Gallo buddy who keeps defending Gallo and in truth he’s full of crap too!
Mandelbaum! Mandelbaum! Mandlebaum!
bobby bonjovani lmfaooooo stoppp this guys a whole different story i need to meet him
100 percent correct russ would never ok a shooting on genovese territory Irishman needed to hire more people that knew the real history movie was entertaining but not factual
All im saying is frank didnt do the shooting of gallo
Yea Frank Sheron was full of shit!!!!! The Irishman was a great movie but it was full of inconsistencies!!!! Frank wanted to leave a legacy that he didn’t live!!!!!
Come on of course he going to lie ..🤦
He really looks like a mob guy tho 😂
Frank did it
"When the clams came to the table, they didn't realize I was actually in one of the clams. Nobody knew. But that's how I knew how Gallo got whacked. was there"
- Russo
😂
Post the whole damn interviews, please...ugh
Still a good movie fictional or not
This guy is too young to even hang around at them time's he tell stories he heard somewhere..
This knucklehead is a knucklehead
These Italians hate that an Irishman was the last man standing
Same reason they did in Danny Greene.
Only thing an Irishman would be the last standing in is a fist fight or drinking contest. They didn’t run anything in that mob world. Nothing.
@@jasongarcia3859 Danny Greene ran Cleveland basically. He kicked up to the italians for a time until they got greedy and he said it fuck you. Then he started blowing up their cars and houses with dynamite. They had to bring in a zip to finally get him at a dentist appointment one day. Locals tried to do it several times and failed. He went on news calling them out. He even survived having his house blown up because a fridge shielded the blast.
@Rocco Stanza Dunno I'm only versed in the 1 lol. But yeah they had to bring a guy over to actually get him. True mafia from italy aren't like the sopranos version we have here. 1 of best mafia books I've ever read is The Mammoth Book of the Mafia by Nigel Cawthorne. It basically covers everything since it very first started over there in the 1800s. Good read if your into the history of it and some of the modern.
@Rocco Stanza I stand corrected. This is just on mafia I think starting around 1850? I may be wrong though. Been a while since I read it and it's pretty big book. Good read though.
The police addmited that the 5 shooters team was a fake story to differentiate real witnesses from fake ones. Everyone knows it was a one hitman, including Joey's wife. This guy has no idea whatsoever
Lol listen!!!! Frank Sheerhan was a mean badass! Killed tons in the military during WW2. He knew the Philly mob family and knew Russell Bufalino very well and was Hoff’s bodyguard for a bit, but HE DID NOT KILL JOEY, G, Carmine Galante or Hoffa!!
And lied a lot
I thought the Icemen killed them all. Abraham Lincoln and Julius Caeser too.
I remember watching that and being like total nonsense knowing he couldn’t have done since it’s known who did it which means you know 💯 of it was bullshit
It's not meant to be realistic, it's a unreliable narrator story
"ok."
Rats are the worse… fucking worst
Where’s rick ross and his homies to make vlad put the whole interview first lol
Fuck that fake as wanna be cop who steals another mans identity for clout
I wasn't disappointed with the acting in The Irishman and it was a good story but I didn't like the CGI they used to make them younger instead of using young actors who looked the part. That messed it up for me, it was too unrealistic to have younger faces with bodies that still moved like old men. What the hell were they thinking? However, Sebastian Maniscalco was brilliant as Joey Gallo. I also knew the Mob wouldn't have killed him in front of his family so I knew that was BS. There's a reason G-d created whiskey... so the Irish wouldn't rule the world lol Brad Pitt said it... so don't moan to me. :o)
The part that just really stuck out as bad due to the aging process was De Niro beating down the grocer.
De Niro could do that thirty years ago like in the Billy Batts scene, but he’s too old for it now. He looked like when you try to shoo a cat away with your foot and gently do it so you don’t hurt em
@@maniacmasturbator2411 LOL good analogy. I'm 68...and I don't try to do what I could do 20 yrs ago...cus I would suffer like a mf'er and I know it.:o)
I agree with this tbh. The parts where you have really old Joe Pesci calling 76 year old Robert DeNiro "kid" when they meet is so unconvincing.
@@julioacceus253 I'm glad to see it wasn't only me. lol :o)
they really did kill him in front of his family, it just had nothing to do with sheeran
Scorcese siad it kazillion times, movie is based on a book which facts cant be proved
I did'nt like watching the "Irishman" "bunch of bull-shit" "Was not depicted of anything with Joe Gallo" (AT ALL)
Great movie tho 👌👌
Hummmmm. Who not know him can think...but this is a priest
Who the fuck knows?

Umbertos still excist
Everyone knows It was pure bullshit.
You can tell he lying, cuz all the other questions that was bullshit, he responded calmly and said it was bullshit. But when he asked about Hoffa, he got a little fidgety and his words sped up..
Ooooohhhk soooo well u didn't get indicted? Well you will now
Carmine "Sonny Pinto " Dibiase. shot him and stood on the lam the rest of his life right in NYC. Facts. Joe Yak was the underboss of the Columbos at the time and he had The Veterans club on Mott and Kenmore St.
