    I can attest that working a 9 to 5 and being a civilian is kinda boring. Life is what you make it, but sometimes regular life is just boring. So I can understand how he misses living that life, but he’s smart enough to know that life leads to a dead end.

      Yes working a 9 to 5 is boring but you can definitely have an exciting life as a civilian. It just depends on what type of career and lifestyle you choose you don’t have to be a criminal to have fun lmao

    I give this credit if he never ratted.
    I was in the streets. Here I’m southern Cali. My family had strong connections with high level mafiosos in Mexico. That’s as far as I will go won’t name names ..I got involved at a young age moving weight. I got busted by the DEA in 1998. A long time friend of my dads ended getting busted and facing 25 years so she set us all up. I was interrogated by the dea for 6 hours. And I never gave anyone up. I was facing 15 years and never even thought twice about being a snitch. It’s the way I grew up. The streets didn’t teach me that. My mom and dad did. Lol. Now I’m out of that life and run a small business and can walk around with my head up high knowing no one is looking for me for being a rata

    • @sabot4ge
      @sabot4ge 2 роки тому +1

      You do realize nobody was made from the years 1957 until 1976? The books were closed..being made isn't really that big of a deal. being a made man really puts you in a position where you're controlled. as an associate, you can kinda work as a freelance contractor..and when wars happen, you dont have to pick a side..you dont even have to really do hits..you can turn them down. Soldiers can't do that. Plus once you're made and in the books, you get a lot more scrutiny from the law and you now qualify for an enhancement, an organized crime enhancement. Whatever crew you're in, you are now officially apart of an ongoing criminal conspiracy. As an associate, you aren't..you do things here and there, but not according to the RICO. It probably bothered him as a young guy, but once he got older he probably realized that being made would have put him in a position where he couldn't get out. As an associate, you can retire when you want to. Even made soldiers who are in their 80s are beholden to the family and have to pick sides if there's an inner-family war or something of that nature. Also, they are beholden to the Commission. Associate is the best move you can make if you just want to use the mafia as a resource to make money or for connections, but you don't want to be a blood member. As long as you don't steal from anybody or disrespect anybody, you can associate with them whenever you desire. You aren't beholden
