I've had an idea in my head for a Sims movie since high school! It's a horror movie actually, following the lives of Sims who live in a world in which they're aware of the omnipresent threat of the "Gods" that rule over this world. In the Sims world, there are "danger zones" which are areas that the Gods (players) have absolute and total control over, and every citizen has to spend some amount of time in these danger zones to appease the Gods playfulness, whimsy and on occasion, gruesome torturous fantasy. The Sims government oversees the amount of time you spend living in these zones, and the longer you willingly live in these areas past the mandatory few years, the more money the government awards you for your service once you finally move out into the untouchable zones (AKA the houses you see on the edges of Sims worlds that are just objects, that the players have no control over) While living in the Danger Zone, you really have no idea what will become of you. There's a chance the gods will completely ignore you forever and you'll be able to live your life as normal (Think: The Pancake family. who even plays with the Pancake Family) there's a chance that you'll have your wildest dreams come true, you'll be part of a legacy that spans generations, live a full and happy life and get an amazing job, have many children and fulfill all your life goals. But there's also a chance that in a split second, in just the blink of an eye (while the game was paused) you'll suddenly be ripped out of your beautiful home and trapped in a basement with a single toilet and an easel, and you're made to paint for the gods' amusement. Or suddenly you'll be trapped in a room of fire, unable to escape, where you'll die a gruesome, painful death. The story would be following a few of these families, and the social disparity that arises between them. One family has been living in the Danger Zone for generations because the gods who oversee THEIR family is a benevolent one, they're incredibly Pro God and are even cult-like worshipful of them, whereas other families have had no intervention from the Gods one way or another, and another still have been subject to their torture for the entire duration of their stay in the Danger Zone so far. They try to beg for help from other families, but nobody else is willing to incur the wrath of the Gods themselves, leaving the poor family to fend for themselves, and eventually try to mount an attack on the Gods in return. The climax of the story would be the disenfranchised family running from the gods out of the Danger Zone before their mandatory time is up, so the government is coming after them now too for refusing the status quo and risking the lives of everyone. After all, if the gods don't have their playthings in the Danger Zone, what's to stop them from turning their eyes towards the untouchables, who have already done their service and earned their peace? While running from both the Gods and the government, the broken family finds a scientific facility that implies that there is a single power source that connects the Gods to the world, a power source that is carefully guarded because they don't know if severing it would allow them to leave in peace permanently separated from the Gods, or if it would simply make their world cease to exist forever. We would see the family huddled around this power source while the government is banging on the doors, and the facility is slowly being dismantled around them by the furious Gods, and in a crying heap they decide to take their chances, and cut the power source. Then we suddenly zoom out to a player sitting at the computer, and their Sims 4 game just crashes, showing us the screen where they had been taking apart the science facility. It's like a high school kid, who is just kind of annoyed that their game crashed, and their cell phone rings. It's their friend asking them to come hang out, and they agree and walk away from the desk saying that they were getting tired of playing sims anyway because their game was being really buggy and weird, but the camera is still focused on the screen where the little wheel is spinning over the overlay reading "Sims 4 Has Stopped Responding." The player's voice fades into the background as we hear their bedroom door closed, slowly zooming in on the screen-- and then the movie ends. Leaving everyone to speculate and wonder whether the people in the game were forever deleted, or are living on in peace, removed from the "gods"
I love The Sims 4 (despite all the things that don’t work) and I really love this series with “Let’s build Newcrest”, but even more I LOVE your hilarious comments, Aiden! You have such a fantastic, sarcastic sense of humour. Love it ❤️ It makes it even more than “just” a “Let’s build”. Keep up your good work! And stay safe ❤️

A friend of mine's parents have a room divider with live, laugh, and love written on the top of each panel. The panels themselves are made up of spinning double sided photo frames, and all the photos are from their yearly trips to Disneyland (we live in Australia, for some perspective on that). The only personal items in the entire house are Disney collectable figurines in glass cases, and one giant, ugly, painting of my friend at age 3. It's a terrifying house.

Love this series I'm having such a blast watching! A few videos back you were asking for show recommendations on Netflix that both you and your partner could enjoy. I think by what you said in that video you're not crazy about shows/movies with heavy action in them but your partner is, while you prefer watching something like The Crown. If you haven't watched them yet I think you and Tom might enjoy The Last Kingdom. It has the action in it for him and the drama/romance with a little bit of humor in it for you! Plus it doesn't hurt that most of the actors in it are eye candy! Also Outlander is a good one too.
About the sims film, I'm really intrigued about the story they are going to tell. I don't know though, I'm not really convinced about it. Maybe it will be like The Lego Movie?

But I would love if they didn´t promote it as a sims movie, just a regular movie and then in the middle of the movie the people (sims) start realizing they are in a simulation and you start seeing them as sims instead of actors... Love this series I'm having such a blast watching! A few videos back you were asking for show recommendations on Netflix that both you and your partner could enjoy. I think by what you said in that video you're not crazy about shows/movies with heavy action in them but your partner is, while you prefer watching something like The Crown. If you haven't watched them yet I think you and Tom might enjoy The Last Kingdom. It has the action in it for him and the drama/romance with a little bit of humor in it for you! Plus it doesn't hurt that most of the actors in it are eye candy! Also Outlander is a good one too.
About the sims film, I'm really intrigued about the story they are going to tell. I don't know though, I'm not really convinced about it. Maybe it will be like The Lego Movie?

I think the sims movie will be a kids movie like emoji movie... But I would love if they didn´t promote it as a sims movie, just a regular movie and then in the middle of the movie the people (sims) start realizing they are in a simulation and you start seeing them as sims instead of actors... It would be a psychological thriller thing... That would be awesome! Lovely video as always! (sorry for my English)

Yes... the play house works even when it’s sized down because the toddler is not actually interacting with the object, they just play dolls in front of it.. so it doesn’t matter that it’s sized down

Oh...I have to share this. A couple of times you’ve asked for recommendations on things to watch and you’ve even recommended some yourself. I think you were the one who said you watched “After Life” (unless I’m remembering it wrong and you said someone recommended it to you, I can’t remember exactly). But anywho...I watched the both seasons last night and LOVED it!! I found myself crying every time Joe cried. That was such an amazing show and full of great wisdom. It was perfect.
